Chapter 11: Chapter 11

The first thing I see when I wake up is Sebastian’s blue eyes, not yellow scary eyes but blue hooded ones.

He tilts his head to the side, “What a nice position, don’t you think?”

I look at him puzzled, before I look down at myself.

With a heavy breath, I shift away Greyson’s hands away from my chest without waking him. Sebastian’s eyes move to my chest and then down my body. I stop this when I wrap the sheets on myself.

Anger fills his eyes immediately, “You let another male touches what belongs to me. You really are a slut.”

I look at him in disbelief, “You’re the one who said that you don’t want me.”

“I didn’t say that. I only said that I need you.”

“You said that part very clearly for me to understand and now, I am moving on.”

“It seems like you don’t understand,” He chuckles, “When you submitted to me, you put yourself at my mercy and you will do everything I tell you.”

My wolf anger rises to a level more than explosion, “I will not make your babies while you parade with another woman. She is there to make babies for you, what’s wrong with that.”

He grunts and walks closer, holding the silver bars as he grits his teeth, “She’s not you.” The bars threaten to crack beneath his fingers.

“That isn’t explanation. It’s too late to want me, you have let me go through enough and it will end there.”

He smirks and slowly let the bars go, “You think you have a say in this? I am the King and what I say goes.”

He motions to a sleeping Greyson with his head, “This is about me, isn’t it. I would have killed him when I had the chance.”

“This isn’t about him, you bastard,” I point my fingers at him as I walk closer to the bars, “This is about you locking, chaining me in here and expect me to listen to your petty orders. New flash freak, you’re not the only one who has a say hear.”

A yawn comes from behind me and I turn to see Greyson stretching with his hands covering his mouth as he yawns again.

He opens his eyes and stares straight at Sebastian before he pulls the sheets to his body.

His eyes moves from me to Sebastian as his arms freeze in the air, “This isn’t what it looks like.”

Sebastian gives me a playful smile, he is anything but playful right now, “Are you trying to say that you didn’t sleep with my mate?”

Greyson gulps and sits up, trying to cover up any skin he is showing, “I did sleep with her but not in the way you are thinking. I did sleep with her but I didn’t sleep with her, with her, you get me?”

Sebastian only stares at him, “I don’t know what you see in him,” He turns to me, “Just know this, you will do as I say!”

He smirks at me before he leaves.

Greyson gathers my clothes from the ground and put on his own. I catch a glimpse of his tanned abs and look away.

My wolf doesn’t comment on my swooning.

“Don’t worry, he wont kill you. He can’t.”

He places my clothes in my hands and smiles, “I find that so hard to believe, but thank you.”

He turns his back to me and I drop the sheet and get dressed, “You don’t believe me.”

“The King has been very impulsive lately, I don’t know what to believe.”

As I drop the sheet on the bed, he turns to me with a smile on his face.

“Thank you for helping me out yesterday, Greyson,” I say, “I really appreciate it.”

“No problem,” He waves it off, “I just need to take a shower to wash your scent off me and you need to do the same too.”

I blush, wiggling my toes, “Oh, I smell like you.”

“I’ll go first, I guess,” He laughs.

“Sure,” He walks into the bathroom.

“What about your clothes?”

He pokes his head out of the bathroom door, “I will choose an outfit that is my size from the wardrobe.”

“Okay,” I didn’t even when Sebastian bought me clothes.

I hear footsteps coming this way with hush whispers, not so hush, “Where is this place.”

“The castle’s dungeon,” Paul sees me before I have the time to think of what to do.

Gwen’s face lights up as she looks around, “Sebastian has never allowed me to come here before. The castle’s prison.”

Paul keeps his eyes on me and walks towards me. Gwen follows him, still not observing my stare.

“Because it’s dangerous and you shouldn’t come down here alone,” He stops, “What are you doing in here, Minerva.”

Gwen notices me and stops looking around. She observes the bars and inside the room, “Is Sebastian playing a game with you? It’s insane how all these things can fit into a cell.”

She moves closer and before I can stop her, she touches the bars, placing her face on them as she looks inside in awe, “Everything’s so dark.”

She’s from the royal blood, silver can’t hurt them.

I don’t see when Paul comes closer and holds the bars. I only hear him hissing and see him staggering back as it burns.

“Shit! It’s silver.”

Gwen gasps and moves away, “Silver? Why would Sebastian lock you in silver laced cell. Why would he lock you in a cell at all.”

I sigh, “It’s a long story.”

Greyson hums loudly as he steps out of the bathroom with a towel hanging on his waist. He freezes when he sees we have company.

Paul squints at him, “Who is he?”

Gwen gasps and presses her face on the bars again, “It has a shower too. I want on of these, it’s like a large doll house.”

Greyson has his mouth slightly open as he watches her in disbelief, I turn to him, “She’s Sebastian’s sister.”

As he nods in understanding, Paul eyes him up and down and pulls Gwen back, so she’s not in contact with the silver.

“We have enough time to spare.”

Greyson looks a bit uncomfortable in the mix, he searches for the clothes and when he gets the suitable ones he walks back into the bathroom.

Gwen giggles, “Is it me or is he hot?”

Paul rolls his eyes, “It’s just you,” He turns to me with a gesture to speak.

“Sebastian woke up one day and decided he didn’t want me again.”

Paul frowns, “Did he reject you?”

“No, he locked me up in here and runs around with another female who doesn’t even know that I exist.”

“She’s the Grace?”

I nod, “Yea, he wants to mark and mate with her and then secretly have kids with me. He apparently doesn’t want to reject me because the whole wolf kingdom would know.”

Gwen agrees, “He is right, the whole kingdom would know but why is he doing this to you and who is this Grace of a girl.”

I sigh and sit on the bed, “She’s the love of his life.”

“I have never heard of her before,” Paul frowns and I shrug.

“Maybe he doesn’t tell you everything,” I smile, “You two aren’t supposed to remember me, no one is but somehow you do.”

Greyson walks back fully dressed, the jeans he is wearing is a little tight but the shirt is okay.

“Sebastian told me that no one would remember me and that will help with his plans, so I figured he gave you all potions unknowingly to you but it didn’t affect you for some odd reason.”

“Maybe we are too powerful for it,” Gwen smirks and at that moment I see a small resemblance to Sebastian.

“A potion okay then,” Paul’s eyes never leave Greyson, “What I don’t understand is why he is in a cell with you.”

Somehow I feel like I can tell them everything.

They are the only hope I have out of here.

“In had my heat yesterday,” I sigh, “He helped me out.”

Gwen is shocked, “Helped you out as in…”

“No, no, not like that,” I wave my hands violently in the air, “We just cuddled.”

At my statement I feel my cheeks burn and Paul raises an eyebrow at me, “Are you blushing? How is it possible, you’re a black girl.”

“That’s not the issue at hand here,” I glare at him.

Gwen speaks and I turn to her, “You experienced heat last night, is that even normal?”

“I don’t know but Sebastian felt it too, he was here a few minutes ago.”

Paul pales and I frown, “What?”

“It’s going to be difficult to get you out of here if he keeps checking on you.”

My eyes widen as I move closer, careful not to touch the silver bars, “You’re going to get me out of here?”

“Yeah, we can’t just leave you in here,” Gwen holds the bars and pull on them, “I am disappointed in Sebastian right now, no, I am more than disappointed. I am cheesed off, wrathful. I am mad!”

Paul pulls her off the bars, “We both are,” He turns to me and his eyes flick to Greyson, “We will devise a plan for you to escape by nightfall.”

Gwen groans, “We?”

“Me,” Paul smiles.

“Better,” Gwen folds her arms, “Is the hot hunk coming with us?”

“No,” At the same time, I say, “Yes.”

Paul turns to me, “He isn’t allow an inch out of the castle’s premises. I think that is less than a foot.”

Gwen giggles, “You think?”

“He has been helping me since I came here, please.”

“It is not my call to make,” He pauses and rolls his eyes, “But get ready you two, we are going to bust you got of here.”

“Yes!” I jump and my arm touches the silver bars. I hiss and move back.

“Damn, Minerva, be careful,” Paul glares at me, “And go take a shower, you smell like kiddo over there.”

“I thought you liked me,” Greyson chips in.

“I do but the situation is now different, very different,” He turns back to me, “Stay out of trouble you two and remember, noon.”

I nod and Gwen gives me a sad smile, “Don’t touch the silver or it will hurt you.”

“I know that already.”

“Damn, Gwen don’t touch the silver too.”

She pulls her hands back at Paul’s outburst.

“She immune.”

“Doesn’t matter,” Paul says and I nod at both of them.

“By noon.”

As they leave I turn to Greyson, “This is great, we can finally escape.”

He smiles and sniffs the air, “Paul is right, you need to take a shower.”

“Don’t test your luck too much, Greyson.”

Nightfall comes slower than I expect and so does Paul and Gwen.

Sebastian doesn’t check on us again. It is simple to say that we are stuck inside.

“You’re the one who locked us in last night,” I point a finger at Greyson, “Why can’t you open it now.”

“I was motivated by your heat. The amount of strength I used surpasses the amount I have right now,” He explains.

I grunt and start pacing back and forth, “All I’m hearing right now is that you can’t do it, and where are they, Sebastian can be here any minute.”

“The king doesn’t check on us this late.”

“Maybe he does, maybe today will be different. He can walk into this place any second now,” I say.

He jumps on the bed and crosses his legs, “Don’t jinx this, Minerva. He is not coming and that’s a good thing. Calm down.”

I take in a deep breath and sit on the bed, “That’s a good thing, yeah.”

He smiles at me.

I hear pants and Paul walks in with a plier in his hands. I stand on my feet and walk closer.

“What’s that for?”

He holds the plier and breaks down the lock, “For that.”

Paul pushes the bars, not wincing a bit as he does so, “Come on, let’s go.”

As we walk out of the dungeon, I look around, “Where is Gwen.”

Paul shushes me as we move out of the castle’s grand door, “She’s making sure Sebastian doesn’t check on you.”

He beckons us out and we stand at the gate while he opens it quietly. He turns to me, “Go as far as you can, Minerva.”

“To my sister?”

“That’s one of the first place he will search for you, but they have the resources to hide you, just explain to them what happened,” I nod as he closes the gate behind us.

“You’re coming?”

“Yeah, I have to make sure that you safely leave this place, or Gwen’s going to pester me to death.”

As I step a foot away from the gate, a sharp pain goes through my body and I fall to my knees. Paul and Greyson rushes to me, “Is it her heat?”

“I don’t know but we have to get here out of here,” When they move from my spot, several shock ripples through me and I cry out.

“What’s happening to her?”

“I don’t know.”

I cry out again, the pain getting intense when they move, “Stop! Keep me down.”

“What?”

The sound of the palace gate’s opening catches our attention, I can barely see through the pain, Sebastian marches out looking like the devil himself. He smirks at me and my eyes roll backwards, “I told you that you’re not leaving this place.”
