CLAIRE WAS about to say her favorite script every morning when suddenly she felt something hard encircled into her waist and at the same time she can smell that fresh masculine scent that she is very familiar with.

She tried to open her eyes and what she saw surprised her. Her head was in Blaire’s arm, half of her face was buried on his chest, her one arm was wrapped around his waist and at the same time, Blaire’s one arm was wrapped around her waist.

Oh! Gracious! Heaven! Did they just sleep like this?

She tried moving her head slowly. She looked up and saw Blaire’s handsome face, still sleeping peacefully. For a moment, she was mesmerized by his beautiful face.

“I don’t mind waking up everyday right next to this handsome man!” Said a small voice inside her.

Her brows furrowed. “What am I thinking?” She said to her mind.

Then she realized how awkward their position was right now. She slowly removed her arm that’s wrapped on his waist. Oh! She can hear her heart beating so loud. And she’s praying that she won’t wake up Blaire because of her movements.

But maybe God has a better plan, because she heard that familiar voice.

“Rise and shine, Clarry!”

She immediately looked into Blaire’s face and she’s certain that he was already awake but her brows furrowed when he saw that his eyes were still shut.

Then his lips curved into a smile. “Good morning.” He said while his eyes were still closed.

She immediately moved away from him. Blaire opened his eyes and chuckled.

“What? Not used to waking up like this?” He asked.

Claire does not know what kind of spirit Blaire was possessed by because since last night he was acting so strange. How come he was acting so cool and kind since yesterday?

“What happened to the Claire who use to throw her naked body----”

“I am not listening to you.” She said and ran quickly inside the bathroom.

Oh! Gracious! Heaven! How can she handle this kind of Blaire?

BLAIRE LAUGHED when he saw Claire run quickly in the bathroom. He’s been asking himself as well why he suddenly likes teasing Claire lately.

Maybe because he found it amusing whenever she blushed. Or maybe because this is exactly what he imagined Claire should have been many years ago.

Before Claire woke up a while back, he was already awake and when he found out their position the moment he woke up, he can’t explain why, but he felt a strong feeling inside of him.

He caressed her hair and there was an urge inside of him to kiss her as well. However, she moved and he pretended to be sleeping.

Her reaction was so cute when she found out that he was already awake. He smiled. Maybe this marriage still has a hope. Maybe they can start all over again.

He looked at the bedside table and his eyes darted on Claire’s laptop and eyeglasses.

“Mon Ange.” He whispered.

“MOMMY, DADDY, this is so amazing!” Zack exclaimed.

Claire was putting all the packed food outside the picnic basket. They were actually in a park where few people were enjoying their family bonding as well.

They are a picture of a happy family indeed. There was something about Blaire that she can’t explain. He’s acting extra sweet in front of Zack. Which makes her feel uneasy.

Well, Zack on the other hand was so happy. Maybe because this was new to him as well, seeing his parents in good terms.

“What do you want, honey?” She asked Zack.

“A hotdog sandwich will do.” Blaire answered quickly.

She looked at him. “I was asking Zack.” She stated.

“My bad, I thought you were asking me.” He said.

When Claire saw that playful smile on Blaire’s face, that was the time that she figured out that he was teasing her. However, she obliged. She made a hotdog sandwich for him and she handed it to him.

“Thanks!” He said with a big smile.

She simply looked at Zack who was devouring a cotton candy.

Then she looked at Blaire. “You have been in a good mood since yesterday.” She blurted out.

“You can say that.” Blaire said and bit a small portion of his hotdog sandwich.

“Mommy this cotton candy is so yummy.” Zack said. “Say aaahhh.” He added while he tried to put something in her mouth.

She laughed but she opened her mouth. “Hmmm.. yeah it tastes good.” She said and gave him a thumbs up. Zack jumped with joy.

“Try this one then.” Blaire said and mimicked Zack’s gesture, he put the hotdog sandwich near her mouth. “Say aaahhh.” He said.

She’s about to say no, but she saw Zack's facial expression. It seems that he was anticipating that she would bite on the sandwich. He was expecting her to take the hotdog sandwich from his father just like what she did when he offered his cotton candy.

So she did bite a portion of the sandwich which Blaire was holding. Her heart started pounding erratically as she saw Blaire looking at her intently.

And what surprised her more was when Blaire took some tissue and wiped the side of her lips.

“Mayo, from the sandwich.” He explained.

“Daddy loves mommy! Mommy loves daddy! Daddy loves mommy!”

Claire got back to her senses upon hearing Zack yelling that. He’s so happy and he repeated saying that and made his own chant.

“Kiddo, eat some sandwiches too. Enough with the cotton candy.” Blaire said while smiling.

“Yes, daddy!” Zack replied.

Claire was really confused on what's going on but maybe this is what Zack needed after all. But she needs to be cautious, it seems that she is more in danger with this new attitude of Blaire. Or should she say, her heart is more in danger.

She does not want to think about it for now. She decided to enjoy this moment with Zack.

“Is it really only Zack?” Teased the small voice within her.

He looked at Blaire. He is now playing with Zack and he can see the happiness on their faces. Today, John Blaire Castillejo II is not a CEO but a father.

“And a husband?” Again a small voice in her mind said.

Maybe, just maybe.

Blaire looked at her and she genuinely smiled at him. She saw him stop for a moment and then smiled back. And then he focused again on playing with Zack.

“He is really handsome…” She whispered while still looking at him.

“And yummy.” Said that inner voice.
