BLAIRE MASSAGED his temple. He was still in his office inside the mansion. He was trying to finish his work. He had so many things to do. Running JBC Corporation is not that easy.

Nana Amy informed him that Zack was already sleeping and to his surprise it was Claire who put him to bed. Well, that’s new.

Then he suddenly thought of Claire, if she is sleeping already. Then he shook his head. Why is he suddenly thinking of her?

He only cared for Zack, he is the only reason why he is keeping this marriage. Well, maybe there was a time that he felt something for Claire, but that was a long time ago.

Thinking of his son, he went out of his office and walked towards Zack’s room. He just wants to check on him. He saw him sleeping peacefully. There was something in his face that he couldn't name. Was that happiness?

Few seconds later, he found himself inside the master’s bedroom, looking intently at the beautiful woman sleeping on the wide bed.

Beautiful. Yes, no doubt that his wife is beautiful. An enchantress indeed! And a long time ago he was bewitched by her beauty. But now? He knew better. She is a cunning woman who will do everything just for money. A perfect gold digger indeed!

He clenched his fists tightly when he recalled some of her schemes in the past 6 years. He was not sure what kind of game she was playing this time but he will make sure that he will not fall for it.

His senses became alert when he saw Claire move. By the looks of it, she was cold. He saw the blanket on her feet, uncovering her body. He moved a little bit closer in the bed when he was certain that she was still sleeping.

When he saw her a little bit shaking, his face softened. He pulled the blanket on her upper body, enough to cover her. She really looks cute in these satin pajamas. Then suddenly his eyes caught her pinkish lips. His gaze stayed there for a moment. It is as if someone is controlling his mind to look at those lips.

Suddenly he felt thirsty. He swallowed twice at that thought. Still, his eyes were caught up by her lips. It seems like her lips were inviting him to kiss her. Then he felt a tingling sensation that flowed out through his veins which caused him to feel a hard on!

He blinked twice to cast away this spell that he was in right now. He shook his head and decided to take a cold shower. He really needs it! A very cold shower!

CLAIRE FELT so cold. She tried to move on her side and curled up her legs. After a second, she felt warmed. It is as if someone wrapped her into something that kept her warmed. She does not want to open her eyes, she still wants to continue her sleep.

However, the feeling of someone staring at her forced her to open her eyes. She was still a little bit disoriented but she couldn't see anyone. She tried to rub her eyes then still no one was there.

She was about to close her eyes and continue her sleep when she heard water dripping from the shower. She realized that it was Blaire! Then she looked at the empty side of the bed. Is he going to sleep there?

He suddenly sat up at that thought and gently massaged her neck while thinking. She does not have any idea how long she’s been in that position when suddenly the door of the bathroom opened.

Her head automatically turned in the bathroom door and she was right, it was Blaire. But her eyes grew bigger in surprise because the man was standing there like a Greek God, wearing nothing but his boxer shorts!

Broad shoulders, perfect biceps and what a nice pack of abs, plus his Adonis belt that added appeal to his perfect body. She has poor eyesight but she can see his perfect body! Suddenly she wants to drink water! She wants to move her eyes but it seems that her eyes have their own mind!

“Loving what you are seeing?”

She just got to her senses when she heard that voice. Then when she got what he meant, she could feel her face heat up. Shoot! She was blushing because of embarrassment!

“Now you are blushing.” He said. Mockery can be sensed in his tone of voice. “Was this part of your lesson to deceive people?” He asked but it seems that he was not waiting for any answer. “This was new huh, so innocent.” He continued and walked towards her.

Now she even had a great sight of his perfect body! Oh! Gracious heaven! She will not be surprised if suddenly she’ll have a heart attack now!

But she had enough of Blaire’s mockery and sarcasm. Even though they are all for his real wife, she’s the one suffering all the consequences now!

She met his gaze and smiled sweetly. “Or maybe I was just cold? Anyway, I’ve seen that body before, I am just trying to compare it with other hunk men I’ve seen on the beach.” She said trying to look so calm, but deep inside she can hear her heart pounding erratically.

She smiled widely when she saw his face turn sour. Then she wants to regret saying those words when she saw the dangerous look into his eyes.

Claire’s smile faded slowly as Blaire moved closer to her. She tried to move backward until she felt the headboard of the bed on her back. But Blaire keeps moving closely to her.

“Do you really want to compare me with those hunk men on the beach?” He asked when he was just an inch away from her. She can feel his warm and fresh breath. Suddenly, she does not want to breathe at all. How unfair! He came from the shower and here she was from a deep sleep! Suddenly she got conscious of her breathing!

He was looking intently on her lips and she was sure that he was going to kiss her!

“Oh! Shoot! I didn't even brush my teeth!” Screamed her inner self.

She closed her eyes and just anticipated the kiss of this handsome CEO, John Blaire Castillejo II. Her first kiss! Well, that was supposedly her first kiss if she can say it correctly.

“Open your eyes and stop dreaming.” Said that very familiar voice.

She immediately opened her eyes, only to find out that Blaire was not there anymore and the next thing she heard was a door closing.

What just happened?
