Sebastian pressed a wet kiss on my earlobe before pulling back and I felt a delightful shiver run through me as butterflies fluttered in my tummy. I turned my head to him and our eyes clashed. His alluring dark eyes gazing into my bright hazel eyes. His lips twitched up into a smile and I found my eyes dropping to them, my body and face heating up before dragging my eyes back up to his. Our moment was ruined when Hailey started wailing and flaying her arms.

We both turned to her and so did her mother. Lisa took her from me as she looked at me with an apologetic look, "Oh, I think she's hungry."

She pulled out a feeding bottle from a large pink hand bag that was strapped around her shoulders and shook the bottle of milk. I nodded at her, "Yeah, it's fine."

She glanced at me with a smile then moved her gaze back to her baby. Bouncing Hailey on her leg while holding her with one hand, she moved the bottle to her lips. Hailey stopped wailing instantly and sucked on the bottle's top, taking in the breast milk. "She's such a handful."

I shook my head with a smile touching my lips, "Not really, she is such a sweetheart. She was quiet until she got hungry."

"Did the feral rogues tell you how they ended up living in tents in the forest?" Connor's voice pulled our attention to him.

Sebastian nodded as he pulled me closer to him with his arm around my shoulders. I leaned closer into him, my smile widening at his constant urge to touch me and his warmth wrapping around me. He glanced at me briefly and I saw the want in his gorgeous dark eyes eyes before he flickered his gaze back to Connor, "Leo, the leader told us that their pack house mysteriously burnt up with the Alpha, Luna and their baby inside."

"Burnt up? How can a house burn up on its own? It might be an accident, but that can be put out before it got worse most times." Connor commented with a frown on his brows.

Jared nodded in agreement, "Yeah, it's most likey that a rival pack created the fire."

"That's what I thought too when I heard the story." Adam added, looking concerned.

"Do you really think so? It might just be an accident." I said, feeling a bit concerned too because if we took them in, we would gain a new enemy.

"Yeah." The three of them answered along with Katie.

Sebastian nodded as he glanced at me, "I am not sure if it's an accident or someone else that started the fire, but we have to be cautious. We have to be on the look out and very aware as soon as they get here."

I realized what he meant and agreed, "Yeah, it's better to be safe than sorry."

"Exactly." He replied to me then turned to the rest, "And this means that we have to keep watch even at night before I can get a more advanced security team down here to place a security system when I get to the office tomorrow. Who will volunteer to stay up for the watch tonight?"

Tucker, Ross, Katie and Selena raised up their hands which made a small frown touch Sebastian's brows, "That's too many people, but you can do a two hour watch for each person so that you can all get enough night's sleep."

"Yes, Alpha." Three of them chorused, but Katie said, nervously, "I actually wanted to ask if you and Luna are sleeping here tonight or if you're going back to the city today."

"We're leaving today, but later in the day."

"Okay."

Beta Adam stood up as he glanced at his wrist watch, "It's been forty five minutes already, so I'm going to go get Leo's pack now."

Sebastian nodded, "Sure. We can break the news to them about us being the Mafia once you return with them."

"Whoa! Time flies really fast." I exclaimed, feeling surprised that we have actually spent around forty minutes there.

My mate let out a breath, "Yeah, tell me about it."

Lisa, Katie continued talking with Connor, Jared and Selena while Ross, Tucker, Aaron and Oscar talked amongst themselves. Sebastian took my attention away from them and to him when he my hand in his and interlaced our fingers as he glanced at me, "What would you like to have for dinner tonight before we have our first time?"

I glanced at him, my cheeks burning up in a blush as I imagined how we will spend the night. I was afraid nefore he marked me, but now, I was completely at ease and completely ready. My teeth caught my bottom lip inbetween it and I chewed on it, shyly as I replied, "Potato goulash and swiss roll for dessert?"

Sebastian's alluring dark eyes dropped to my lips and I saw desire pull inside of them as his eyes flashed red. He took his hand away from mine and moved it to my face. He used his thumb to pull my bottom lip from between my teeth and breathed out in his husky, s*xy deep voice, "Don't bite your lip like that, cupcake unless you want me to ruin our romantic night by taking you right now."

My face heated up even more along with my body as images of him taking me hard filled my innocent mind at his words. Desire pooled in my lower tummy and my heart raced as I kept thinking of how our first time would be, but I quickly pushed the thought away unless I wanted to be a mess in front of everyone there. I breathed out in a low voice, "Okay, but hearing you say that makes me want to ruin it. You know exactly how to make a woman want you, Sebastian."

His lips tugged up into a smile as his desire filled eyes stare at my lips while he brushed his thumb against my bottom lip, "And you know exactly how to make a man want you without even trying."

I giggled in a breathless voice, still feeling aroused from his words and his touch, "I don't think so, but if that's what you believe then I can't argue with that."

He let his thumb drop from my bottom lip and he retracted his hand to his lap. His alluring reddish dark eyes searched mine with concert evident in them as his lips parted, "I noticed that you were moaning and groaning in your sleep when I woke up in the middle of the night. Is everything okay? You've never done that before."

I understood what he meant and I suddenly felt my tummy twist with a bad feeling as I remembered my nightmare. "Yeah, I… After Cameron attacked me the other night, he stalked my nightmares last night. He was not only going to forcefully mark me in the dream, he was also going to forcefully mate with me. It was horrifying… I never want to have the nightmare again."

His eyes looked pitiful and concerned as he stared at me, "I'm so sorry that you went through that, cupcake. You shouldn't let him haunt you, he's not worth it and you deserve peace."

I let out a sigh as tears pricked my eyes, but I held them in, "Yes, I know, Sebastian, but I don't know how to let it go. It was such a terrifying moment. For him to force me, especially since he isn't my mate and after the betrayal that he did to me."

Sebastian's hand went to cup my face and his thumb caressed my cheek as his gorgeous eyes stared deeply into mine, "I would never let him hurt you again, cupcake. You're mine and I'll never let anyone take you away from me or hurt you."

A tear slipped down my left eyes and he wioed it away from my cheek. I nodded as I let out a breath, "I know, sweetie and I would never let that happen again, but it's like my mind hasn't registered yet and now, he's haunting me."

More pity, sympathy and concern showed on his face and he wrapped both of his arms around me, pulling me into a hug. I wrapped my arm around him too and leaned into him. He let out a sigh and said in his velvety deep voice, "Don't worry, cupcake. You will be fine and I'll make sure of it."

"Thanks for being here for me." I murmured into his chest.

"You don't have to thank me, my mate."

"Is everything alright with you two?" Katie asked with concern lacing her voice, making us pull away from each other and turn to her.

Her comment seemed to make the others also turn to us and Jared asked with a concerned look too, "Kat, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. You guys don't need to worry." As soon as I said that, the front door opened and we all turned to it.

Beta Adam walked in, leading Leo and his other pack members in. They all looked scared, timid and uncertain as they looked around at all of us. Leo was the only one that looked less uncomfortable and scared. He smiled as he stopped in front of our couch and bowed his head, "We are ready to serve you, Alpha!"

The others followed his lead and bowed their heads as they declared, "We are ready to serve you, Alpha!"

Sebastian stood up from his seat beside me as a smile touched his lips, "You're all welcome to the Wolfe pack and we're all very glad to have you here."

Leo raised his head up, "Thank you, Alpha Sebastian."

Sebastian nodded at him and turned to Beta Adam, "Show them to the empty wing so that they can settle in."

"Yes, Alpha." Beta Adam answered and turned to them, "Follow me."

"Yes, Beta." They chorused and started following him, but Sebastian stopped Leo.

"Leo, we need to talk with you."

He turned to us, looking concerned, nervous and scared as he stepped towards Sebastian.
