Chapter 66: Chapter 66

"Tucker." Sebastian answered me as he glanced at me.

"Tucker and Oscar were brought in by Tucker too since he's his best friend." Jared added, glancing over at the two.

"Aaron was brought in by his mate too, Amy." Connor pointed out as he glanced over at the two staring at each other as they fed each other food.

"They do look very cosey. So there are a lot of mated couples in this pack." I commented and placed the last bite of my food into my mouth.

Sebastian nodded as his lips twitched up into a smile, "Yeah, and this will also bring us more generation of pup raised in packs like all werewolves should be. Besides, one of the other packs under me was led by my Dad before he passed and after he did, they wanted to be a different pack. I also encouraged them since there was another Alpha in the pack and I wanted to form my own pack with new people."

"That must be refreshing and I think that it's a good idea." I commented as I placed my fork on my plate and the others that we were talking with nodded in agreement.

Sebastian glanced at me then moved his gaze to my mate before moving it back to my face, "Since you're done, do you want to go out for a run in wolf form?"

I noticed that he was also done eating as his strong, tattooed arms rested on the table. Bringing my attention back to his question, my wolf yipped in excitement and a smile formed on my lips, "Yeah, I would love to!"

"Okay, let's go cupcake." He replied to me, standing up from his chair.

I stood up too and he glanced at the other pack members, "If anyone wants to join us, you're welcome to."

"Yes, Alpha." Most of them answered and the Beta, Connor, Jared, Katie, Lisa, Tucker, Selena, Oscar and Ross stood up too.

Sebastian stepped towards me and took my hand in his interlacing our fingers, "Your hand feels so soft and nice that I want to keep holding it."

A blush rose on my cheeks, "I like holding your hand too, Sebastian."

He pinched my red cheeks and I swatted his hands away, making him laugh as we made our way down the hallway to get to the living room and then the door with the others walking with us. The others that didn't follow us continued eating their food and talking amongst themselves. I was glad that Ashley wasn't joining us since she believed that she was meant to be his Luna instead of me.

"I love how you two are so playful with each other even though the Alpha is scary and very intimidating." Katie commented from beside me as she glanced between the two of us as we reached the front door.

We both turned to her while the others around us nodded in agreement. Sebastian chuckled in his velvety deep voice, making me crave the gorgeous sound, "But I'm not that intimidating, am I?"

I nodded as we all answered him, "Yes, you are."

He looked amused as Beta Adam pulled the door open for us. Sebastian tugged on my hand and we walked out first before Beta Adam, Connor, Jared and the others. Since the pack/gang house was on the outskirts of town, there wasn't anyone outside except for the grass and the trees. Sebastian let my hand go and started pulling off his top then his jeans to reveal his elastic shorts. The guys and girls all stripped down to their elastic vests and shorts.

I also took off my dress to reveal my elastic shorts and sports bra over my ordinary bra. I felt Sebastian's eyes on me as I placed my dress on the chair where the others placed theirs. As soon as I raised my eyes up to his, our eyes clashed. His alluring dark eyes borring into my hazel ones. I could feel the tension between us rise as my face flushed in a blush. His lips twitched up into a smile at seeing my blush and he dragged his eyes away from mine.

In the next second, he shifted into his wolf. His red fur shined under the rays of the sun and his red eyes turned to me, as if telling me to shift too. I also shifted into my wolf with my hazel fur shimmering and the others shifted into their wolves too. Adam and Tucker's were black while Jared and Connor were grey like their original eye color. Selena's wolf was white along with Lisa's, but Lisa's was brighter while Selena's was more like cream. Katie's wolf was greenish brown, Oscar's was silver and Katie's wolf was dark brown, almost black.

As soon as I shifted, Sebastian slipped out his long wolf tongue to lick my snout affectionately. He rubbed his snout against mine before moving his wolf's head to my furry wolf neck. He nuzzled it and licked his mark on it, making my wolf groan in pleasure. Feeling satisfied with his achievement, he pulled back and gestured with his head forward before he started running toeards the forest.

He wanted me to follow him and so I did along with the rest of the pack with us. We started running with Sebastian and I leading, running side by side. He turned his wolf head to look at me and I could see the happiness in his red eyes. He turned back forward and let out a long, powerful howl. I followed his lead and let out a short, less powerful, but also strong howl. The rest of the pack followed up with their own howls.

As we continued running, I leaned towards my mate and nipped at his ear playfully, making him groan and huff in pleasure. I pulled back and increased my speed. Seeing that, he ran faster and caught up with me, playfully nipping at my ear and neck whike I nipped back. My wolf yipped in happiness as we continued running and playing. Our pack members also played as they ran with us.

It was such a great moment for me because I have never ran with a pack. I felt so alive at the moment and so happy, especially with my mate beside me, but it all came to a stop when after an hour or more of running, several wolves started walking out of the forest. Four of them jumped in front of us, bringing our run to a stop. Around ten of them surrounded us while the four in front of us growled, spit running down their sharp teeth.

Sebastian glanced over at me and I saw the concern in his eyes before he turned back to them. He let out a very strong and powerful growl. His growl vibrated throughout the forest, shaking the trees and sounding ten times deeper than all of theirs. He stared at them with slanted eyes, ready for a fight to break out. However, as soon as they heard his growl, fear showed in their eyes and one of the four that has black and white fur yipped before turning around to run into the forest.

The four and the ten quickly followed after him. He must hace been their leader and they seemed a bit feral like rogues, but I had no idea. Those that weren't true Alphas that try to lead packs become wild and so do the pack, we call them rogues too. Although, werewolves like me, Sophie and my parents weren't called rogues, but free wolves in this modern day. In the old ages, we would have been called rogues too, but we would never go wild or feral, just outcasts with no packs.

Tucker and Adam started forward to follow the wolves. Jared, Connor, Oscar, Katie and Ross also started forward, but Sebastian grunted, showing his disapproval, so they stayed back. He must have wanted Adam and Tucker to follow the wolves so that they would find out who they were and where they were going. Sebastian started running in the direction that led to the pack house.

I ran alongside him and so did the rest of the pack. We passed through the trees and the sound of the birds chirping filled our ears. It didn't take long before we were out of the forest and running towards the house. Sebastian transformed back into his human form as soon as he neared the balcony, mid run. He looked hot doing that and my body heated up at the thought. I reached the balcony and shifted too along with the others.

Sebastian pulled out my dress and his top with jeans then handed the dress to me, "Here."

"Thanks." I said as I took it from him and I realized that he looked a bit grim. It must have been because of the attack. He started pulling on his dark jeans with a thoughtful frown on his brows and I pulled my dress over my head to put it on.

"Alpha, why did you stop us from following Tucker and Adam? They might be in danger since it's only the two of them." Jared said as he stepped closer to Sebastian in his elastic shorts.

My mate glanced at him as he replied, "They're our best trackers and they can be quiet. Seeing that it's only the two of them, they will know to lay low and observe. They will be back soon with the information that we need unharmed."

Understanding showed on Jared's face and Selena let out a relieved sigh, hearing that her mate will be fine. He nodded, "Okay, you're right. I knew that it must have been for the best."

"Yeah, our Alpha is very wise." Connor commented as he pulled on his blue jeans over his elastic shorts.

Sebastian nodded at him as he pulled on his top and he still had that frown on his brows. It had me worried, so I stepped towards him and touched his eyebrows with my index and middle finger, trying to smooth out his frown. He looked surprised when he saw me do that, but as his eyes glanced at my face, his face softened. I pulled my hand back after I was done, "There, all fixed up, no more frowning for you."
