Chapter 37: Chapter 37

I looked up at him through my lashes, shyly and that seemed to have done it. Sebastian's lips crashed onto mine again for the third or fourth time that day. I kissed him back and let my hands roam his very toned abs and chest. But the sweet feeling was cut short when he pulled back. He unwrapped his arms from around me and took my hand as his lips tugged up into a smile while his dark eyes showed red mixed in them.

"Come on, cupcake. It's time to meet my pack." He said as he tugged me forward.

"Okay!" I replied, excitedly as I walked beside him.

As we walked towards the door of the open office, we saw manager Heather standing there as she looked at us with a frown on her brows. She turned around and left quickly as she saw us approaching. "That woman is very weird."

"Tell me about it." I muttered as we walked out of the office and made our way towards the elevator.

It didn't take long before Sebastian parked in front of a very large house that was on the outskirts of town. He has drove us in his Lamborghini after telling the chauffeur to hitch a ride with his assistant, Caesar. We opened each of our doors and climbed out. Sebastian walked around the car to meet me and took my hand in his, interlacing our fingers.

I glanced at him and our met. His lips twitched up into a smile and I felt my lips stretch into a smile too. He turned forward and I did too as we made our way towards the front door of the large house. He didn't stop to knock since it was his pack house and he was the Alpha, so he pushed the door open and we walked in.

As soon as we did, everyone in the living room turned towards us. They all looked surprised and excited at the same time as their gaze moved to our interlaced hands. Most of them were lounging on the couch while some were standing up. There were around thirteen people in the room with six men and seven women.

They were all dressed in leather jackets or wearing loose tank tops along with jeans. All of them had tattoos running up and down their arms and bodies, and some had their heads shave on the side while others had piercings pm their ears or faces. They all looked very bad ass and intimidating, but they all stood up as Sebastian and I reached them.

"Welcome back, Alpha!" They yelled out in unison with their heads bowed down.

Sebastian smiled at them, "Thanks, everyone. I have brought my mate and your Luna to meet you as I promised to do."

I noticed that Jared was among them and he glanced at me with a wide smile, "We're ready to serve you, Luna!"

The others followed his lead and yelled, "We're ready to serve you, Luna!"

"Thank you, everyone! I'm very happy to be here too! And you can call me Kat, you don't have to keep calling me Luna." I said with a grin on my lips.

One of the men that has his head shaved on the left side with a dragon tattoo on it shook his head, "We would not dare say the name of our Luna just like we do not dare say the name of our Alpha."

A confused frown fell on my brows as I said, "But Jared calls Sebastian by his name and so does Beta Adam."

They all looked amused at my observation including Sebastian who was staring at me with a smile touching his lips. "That's because they have been my friends from the beginning and we grew up together, so it would be wired if they called me Alpha all the time, especially when we're just spending time as friends."

I nodded in understanding, "Ahh, I get it now."

"Yeah, and since you already know Jared, this buff guy here is Tucker." Sebastian said as he gestured towards the guy with the dragon tattoo on his skull.

"Oh, hi, Tucker." I greeted him, waving my free hand and still smiling.

"Nice to meet you, Luna." Tucker replied with a large smile on his lips.

Sebastian glanced at me them looked over at his pack members and started gesturing towards them as he listed off their names, "And these are Anna, Selena, Ashton, Aaron, Ashley, Lisa, Katie, Oscar, Jason, Amy, Ross and my other childhood friend, Connor."

Connor smiled at me and I saw that he looked like Jared, only that he had dyed red hair which meant that they were twins. My mouth hung open in shock as I gestured between the two, "Oh wait, you two are twins, right?"

"Yeah, we are." Jared and Connor answered and the same time, and I felt mind blown because I've never met any twins before and they looked so identical except for the hair and their clothes.

"But Connor got lucky enough to meet his mate, Lisa here while I'm still waiting to meet mine." Jared said with a sigh as some of the other pack members sat back down on the couch including Ashley, Amy, Anna and Ashton. It seemed that they didn't really like me as they kept a scowl on their faces.

"Awe, don't worry, I'm sure that you'll meet her soon." I said to him a comforting voice.

Oscar patted him on the back as he grinned, "I'm not sure if this guy can settle down even as a werewolf since he's always having fun with the ladies."

Jason laughed as he nodded, "Yeah, we will all be very shocked if Jared settled down with his mate after being a play boy."

Lisa nodded with a teasing smile as she added, "I believe that he has even met her, but he just couldn't give up his play boy ways."

Everyone in the room laughed including Sebastian and Jared who shook his head, "Alright, that's enough of you all roasting me, but I really want to find my mate. Besides, I'm like this only because I haven't found her yet."

Connor shook his head with a teasing smile as he muttered, "Oh, yeah. Keep telling yourself tell that, Jared."

I laughed again at their banter since it was so funny to watch and I felt Sebastian's hand tugg on mine that he was holding. I looked over at him and saw him smiling at me. "Want to meet our pack's pup?"

I raised my brows in question, "The pack's pup?"

He nodded, "Yeah, that's Connor and Lisa's little pup that was born last year."

"He's sleeping in our room, but he might be awake now. I'm sure that he would love to meet you too." Lisa said, giving me a friendly smile.

"Sure, I would love to see him." I nodded at her then glanced over at Sebastian.

"Alright, let's-" Sebastian started saying, but he was cut off by the sound of bullets crashing through the glass windows.

Before I realized what was happening, Sebastian was pulling me down in between the couches and arm chairs. The bullets kept shooting through the windows from all directions as he yelled, "Everyone, get down! Get down!"

Everyone squatted down to avoid the bullets and next thing I knew was that Sebastian and Jared were pulling up the cushions of the two couches around us. As soon as they lifted up the cushions, I saw that they were gun of different kind under them. I was so shocked that my mouth fell open and my eyes widened.

Sebastian's alluring dark eyes glanced over at me with a concerned look in them. He was probably worried that I might get scared again and run away. He picked up Three large guns that looked like rifles in the movies them handed it to Amy who passed the other two to Ashley and Anna. He grabbed a Glock and handed it over to Katie.

I noticed that Jared ha also handed guns over to Lisa and Selena. Before I could asked why they were handing guns over to only women, I heard a loud growl as we heard a thumb. That was when we realized that the bullets have stopped and we all raised up to see that a large, ash wolf was growling as it approaches us.

Two other wolves jumped through the now broken windows as they also growled and then four more jumped through. I heard a menacing growl from beside me and I turned to find Sebastian starting to change. He glanced at me as he said with a worried frown on his face, "Stay back and hide, Kat. I don't want you to get hurt, so I'll come and get you after the fight."

He didn't wait for my answer and changed into his large wolf with its gorgeous red fur. He ran towards the wolves that were now running towards us and the clashed heads as they started fighting. Connor, Jared, Ashton, Jason, Tucker, Aaron, Ross and Oscar all changed into their wolves too that wasn't as large as Sebastian's and they all fought the enemy werewolves.

As they did so, bullets continued firing through the windows on the side where the girls were around the couches. Lisa took no time to raise her gun, aim and release a shot. As she did, a bullet came whizzing through and she dodged to the side. I didn't dodge fast enough since I was still in shock and the bullet sliced the side of my arm, just a few inches from my shoulder. Blood started gushing out as I let out a yelp of pain and covered the wound with my hand.

Sebastian's wolf head immediately snapped to me and it looked like he wanted to run over to me, but then the wolf that he was fighting jumped on top of him. I watched as he immediately gained the upper hand and grabbed its neck with his sharp wolf teeth which made the enemy wolf whimper. So he used his hind legs to push it off and he advanced on him growling. As I watched them, I heard a growl very close to me.
