"It doesn't matter how you see me, all you need to know is that I'm taking Sebastian Wolfe away from you and there's nothing that you can do about it." Sierra added in an arrogant way that pissed me off even more.

"I would never let that happen, you man stealing wh*re!" I said through gritted teeth as anger surged through me and my wolf growled, ready to come to the surface.

Sierra raised her hand and threw it towards me in a slap, but I was fast enough to catch her wrist and twist it which made her yelp in pain. I threw my hand and slapped her instead with all the anger from her betrayal. "I'm done letting you walk all over me, Sierra, and I'm not going to let you take my mate away!"

Shock and fear showed on her face as she held onto her wrist and her cheek reddened from the slap. She glared at me as her jaw clenched in even more anger, "How? You dare to slap me, Kat? You think that you're so untouchable just because your mate is someone powerful?!"

"It's what you deserve after all that you have done to me. Besides, you're the one that tried to slap me first, so I just returned the favor." I answered her in a clipped tone then walked past her to leave through the door since I didn't have time for her nonsense.

"It's not over, Kat! It's not over until I am done stopping you from getting your happily ever after!" Sierra's voice rang out after me as I walked out of the bathroom.

I ignored her and made my way back to the open office. How did she even get accepted here? Her degree was in music and this company wasn't not associated with the entertainment industry. She probably seduced the interviewer or something. Typical of her since that was how she passed her grades back at College.

Sophie and I frowned upon her ways and told her how bad it was and how hard it will be to keep a job since she had no knowledge of the course she studied. However, she never listened since she only cared about looking perfect to others and impressing her mother that never paid attention to her. She grew up without her Dad being in her life even though he was alive.

While her mom has always paid more attention to her younger brother who was better than her in every way like her mother usually said. This might seem like that was why she was this evil and cunning, but not exactly. Everyone has a choice of whether to be good or bad. Many have gone through worst childhoods than her, but they turned out great.

Instead of bitter and jealous of other people's happiness. They paid attention on getting their own happiness instead of trying to stop others from getting theirs just because they weren't happy with their lives. I shook my head at the thought as I entered entered the open office.

'I would have taken over and teach her a lesson like the pup she is if she had continued trying to fight us.' My wolf said in a low growl, still feeling angry.

'I know that, companion, but we don't want to cause a commotion in the office or let others see me in wolf form.' I replied to her in a calm voice, trying to soothe her even though I was also still feeling angry.

She let out a huff of breath, letting the anger leave her, 'You are right, I will try not to reveal myself when there are humans.'

'Thank you.' I replied to her just as I neared my cubicle which was right after Tess's cubicle.

"Hey, Tess. Has the manager come around here or asked of me?" I asked her as I walked past her to sit at my cubicle.

She glanced at me from the computer and smiled, "Yes, she came here several times and I told her what you told me to say, but she didn't really react. She only muttered an 'Alright'.

I felt surprised that she didn't make much drama, "That is unexpected, but I'm glad that she didn't make any drama."

Tess nodded and looked at curiously, "Yeah. Why do you look so upset? Did something bad happen with Sebastian or is it Manager Heather?"

I shook my head as I gave her a small reassuring smile. Even though I wanted to tell her about Sebastian, I knew that I couldn't yet since he said that she and Will would be initiated into the pack after I am. Plus, we were in an office that has both werewolves and humans, so we couldn't really talk about it here.

"Yeah, something did happen with Sebastian, but that's not why I'm upset. I just had a run in with my ex best friend who stole my give year boyfriend from me."

Shock showed on her face as her eyes widened, "Are you talking about Cameron, the ex that stormed into the cafeteria, saying that he wants you back?"

"Yeah, him, and it wasn't even one week and he's regretting it." I replied as my lips stretch into a smile, feeling so glad that he was regretting it.

"That serves him right, but how comes his 'girlfriend' is here? Did she follow you here so that she can steal Sebastian away too?" Tess asked with a frown on her brows.

I nodded, "Yep, you got that right. She said that exactly and tried to slap me, but I stopped her and slapped her instead. I feel so good for standing up for myself after her walking over me throughout all these years."

Tess looked impressed and clapped her hands, lightly as she grinned, "Wow! I didn't know that you had that in you, but well done for standing up to a bully like her. I wish I was there to see it."

A chuckle left my lips and I noticed that I was feeling less upset already. That was exactly part of why I liked Tess, she was so lively, supportive and optimistic that she made you feel better about anything. "Yeah, I didn't know that I had it in me either until I saw her betrayal."

"Forget about her, Kat. You have better friends than her, so she can go die for all we care." Tess comforter me as she have me a reassuring smile.

"Thanks, Tess. I wouldn't waste my time on her, we're not friends anymore anyway."

"That's great." She replied to me as I turned to my computer and switched it on.

"Yeah, anyway, I have a lot of work to finish since I have been away all morning." I said as I scrolled to the article that I was supposed to work on that day.

"Yeah, you have been away for too long and it's even after lunch time. What were you doing for so long in his office? We're you trying to make pups?" Tess asked, wiggling her eyebrows in a teasing way.

I laughed, shaking my head, "Not at all even though we did kiss a few times, but just some things happened that I can't talk about here."

I looked around the office before looking back at her to give her the idea of what was I meant which was that they were too many people around. She seemed to understand and nodded as she glanced around us too before looking back at me, "Oh yeah, I understand. We can talk about it later or tomorrow."

I nodded at her with a small smile touching my lips, glad that she understood, "Sure, till then."

I turned back to my article and she turned back to hers too. We continued working in silence while I made a promise to myself not to get off work until 4:00PM since I have missed the morning hours and Sebastian wouldn't be getting off work until then too.

It was soon 4:00PM and I didn't even realize it as I continued working while being the only one remaining in our open office until I heard footsteps walking towards me. I turned to the sound to see Sebastian in all his tattoo glory while his suit jacket was off and his shirt sleeves were rolled up to his elbows to expose his tattoos. The buttons around his neck were undone, also exposing the tattoos on his skin.

His curly hair at the front laid gently against his forehead while his dark eyes looked just as captivating as always. His perfect, pink lips twitched up into a teasing smile as he said, "Enjoying the view, cupcake?"

My cheeks flushed at being caught staring and I looked back at my computer screen to glanced at the time which shows 4:06PM. So I started switching off the computer as I replied, "I, uh, you're just so gorgeous that I couldn't help, but stare."

I turned back to him to see that he has stopped right beside my chair as he stared at me with those alluring that eyes that now held amusement in them. He took my hand in his and pulled me up. I crashed into his chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist as his eyes captured mine. His lips parted as he murmured, "You can stare all you want, cupcake 'cause I'm all yours. I was only teasing you, but I do want you to stare at me like I am staring at you."

My cheeks reddened even further at his words and I felt my tummy flip with excitement and my heart beat faster. My hazel eyes stared back into his dark ones as I replied in a murmur, "Then I shall stare at you and enjoy your gorgeousness as much as I want."

His breathing deepened at my words and his grip around my waist tightened as he pulled me closer against his body until I could feel every inch of him. "Oh, my Kat, my little mate. You're so beautiful, cute and s*xy all at the same time and that makes me want you even more."
