Eva and Iris led James into a small alley away from the crowds. After they entered a bookstore, James was waiting outside. But because the two of them took too long, he finally caught up and went inside.

"Welcome, James." Eva hissed in an angry tone of voice.

Eva, who was very careful about all her actions, seemed to point a knife at James' neck after he entered the shop. James himself was surprised because the shop outside was like a bookstore when he entered there was only an empty room. There was only one lamp in the middle of the room, just like an interrogation room.

James glanced at Iris who seemed to be avoiding eye contact with him.

"Devil Hunters... I thought you guys were wiped out." James said with a chuckle. But he still couldn't relax because it seemed that the two Hunters in front of him seemed to know his weakness.

"We'll always be here. Don't worry, you guys can have sweet dreams after being wiped off the face of the earth."

Eva immediately attacked and sliced ​​James' neck as fast as she could. But indeed the devil's speed can't be taken lightly. James, who had been standing in front of the door immediately kicked her. But he hissed in anger because Eva herself had anticipated it.

Iris, who was holding a gun with trembling hands, shot straight at James and pierced his left chest. Too bad the shot didn't hit his heart.

"Looks like you're a new member. Is this your first experience hunting a demon like me?” His question deliberately provoked Iris' fear.

Iris was afraid of two things right now. First, she had just fired one shot and it hit James' left chest. And what's even crazier is that he didn't feel any pain at all.

She stared in horror at her gun and looked back at James. If he was human, he should be lying on the floor. But sadly it was impossible for the devil. Iris was a little horrified that James could still laugh after she shot him.

"I'm an amateur. But it's not the first time for me." She said that she didn't like James who looked at her condescendingly. Her mind immediately thought of Jonathan's comrades who died at her hands.

James snorted with the corners of his lips raised.  But unfortunately, a bullet shot again. Eva moved quickly and fired many shots at James.

Because Iris panicked, she also did the same with Eva. James, who was hit by a lot of shots couldn't help but dodge and exit the shop.

This lonely narrow alley bears witness to the fierce battle between humans and demons. Eva and Iris teamed up to take down the demon with the available weapons and equipment. As Iris expected, James could indeed move fast. But not as fast as Jonathan.

James chuckled lightly because he had been caught in the traps of the Hunters. But what made him laugh wasn't that he was resigned to being arrested. But the hunters who hunted him were only two weak women.

"Are you sure you can catch and kill me?" His question made Eva a little sick.

"You talk too much, it seems. Did you think I came here unprepared?" Eva asked back in a sarcastic tone that made Iris smile awkward.

'As planned, Ana. You can do the finishing blow if Eva manages to open the gap for you.' Iris wasn't as tense as before after she heard Jonathan's voice echo inside her head.

Quickly the battle between Eva and James was fierce. Even though Eva is only human, she is smart and knows that the devil is always after her weak points. Not to mention she has sharp instincts.

James's attacks were repeatedly blocked by Eva, while Eva's attacks always hit his body. He was angry and unfortunately, Eva was not careful until James held her head and forced their eyes to stare at each other.

"Shit!" Eva cursed harshly as she tried hard to untie James' lockdown that was holding her hands and feet on the ground.

"Ha hahaha. Turns out you're the head of the Devil Hunter." James laughed happily after he found out who Eva was.

His eyes lit up and he tried to read her future. But before he could read it, Iris had acted quickly. James was thrown to the side after Iris bravely stabbed Eva's knife into his back.

"Go die!" Iris shouted excitedly.

James had time to dodge so that the knife missed and did not touch his heart.

"Fu*k! You're bothering me." He says immediately grabbed her neck and suffocating.

"IRIS!" Eva screamed while struggling to get up because her right leg was broken after James released her leg harshly.

For whatever reason, Iris felt like she didn't have much time in her life when she felt the force of James' hands squeezing her neck. Her chest felt tight because there was no air she could breathe. And also she felt excruciating pain because her neck bone seemed to be crushed.

“Devil Hunters? A trash organization that wants to kill all the demons from the face of the earth? Are you stupid?” James said not laughing like before.

Iris struggled as James started to lift her with his hands still choking her neck. She was increasingly tormented waiting for Jonathan to come to save her.

“The tens of thousands of years I have lived on earth, I have never heard of your stupid jokes, Devil Hunter. Rubbish! You're all just dirt on the face of the earth." James said glaring and seemed to enjoy the expression of Iris trying to breathe.

But his eyes widened in surprise when he saw her eyes that were now staring at him. Her eyes couldn't be mistaken with the woman's eyes that shone like the hallmark of a devil's eye.

"N-no way." He muttered with a movement that stopped for a moment.

Iris, who had been possessed by Jonathan's telepathy completely, stared at James with such oppressive eyes. James himself felt his knees go weak but it was still hard to believe what he was seeing.

'Bow down, Digolia.' Jonathan's voice echoed loudly in James' head.

Eva limped over to Iris. No more weapons left, she took out a glass tube filled with her blood. Seeing James who forgot her existence was an opportunity to attack him.

“Lo-Lord Hairesh… How could you-”

"IRIS!" Eva screamed after she stabbed James in the heart with the glass bottle. Too bad the glass bottle was too thin and she didn't have the strength to push the glass bottle in.

James immediately let go of the stranglehold on her neck and took a few steps back. His expression was still shocked while holding his chest. His brain was trying to think hard amid the commotion.

But Eva, who was ready to fight again was surprised by the fast movement of Iris who jumped to lunge at James. He was immediately thrown and hit the wall.

"Goodbye, James." Said Iris slicing her hand on her knife then stabbed it in James' chest.

Instantly James groaned in pain. His body slowly turned into a grain of dust. But James, who still saw the different color of Iris' eyes, saw a glimpse of her future.

“You will never die… Live in misery all your life… Iris….”
