She realized that she was staring too much and quickly avert her eyes and snatch her hand away from him
“hey, are you okay? did you get hurt?” he asked sweetly and with a calm smoothing tone. Vienna nodded slowly at him
“yes I guess am good and you?” she asked
“am okay, are you here to get something to eat? Am also here to get dinner” he said
“yes I am” she answered and they entered together and sat down at the same table then the waiter comes to them and took their order then leaves
“so what is your name?” he asked with a bright smile
“am Vienna and you?” she answered and also asked
“Sam, am a second year student of the first city university” he answered
“oh.. am a first year student from the department of management ”
“what a coincidence! Am also from the same department” he said and they smiled together then the waiter bought their order and they start to eat.
Vienna woke up very late the next day because she was talking with Alan on the phone throughout the night, She entered the class and sat at the back but the lecture ended in few minutes and she went out to get something to eat since she is not able to eat before coming out and ran into Sam at the cafeteria.
“hey, I met you yesterday” she said in surprise but Sam didn’t seems to recognize her
“you don’t recognize me do you? We met at a restaurant yesterday and you helped me from getting hit by a car” she explained.
“oh I remember now, Vienna right? Nice to see you again and I also remember you said you are studying the same course but I didn’t see you in class today”
“I actually came late to this morning lecture” she replied and they both walk together to get some food and find a table to eat
“so you live around where we met yesterday?” Sam asked as he take a bit from his meal
“yes, I live not far from there and you?” she answered
“same, maybe we don’t live far away from each other. So am twenty one am a year late what about you?”
“twenty five, I actually drop out for a while before coming back to school now” she answered and they both continue to eat in silent then they decide to head back to class together. On their way, Vienna sight Vanessa hugging a guy near her class building, She was shocked to see her and excuse herself from Sam and walk up to her then pull her away from the guy
“Vanessa, what are you doing here? You are supposed to be with mom and dad?” she asked
“why would you want me to stay with mum and dad? I told you I have a lot of things going on” she said less concerned with how Vienna saw her
“who is she? Your sister, she looks a lot like you” the guy she is with asked
“so meeting with a guy is what makes you busy? Why are you misbehaving recently?” she said and pull her to herself but Vanessa yank her hand away
“am not a kid and I can take care of my business, why do you always want to interfere with everything about me and this is my boyfriend” she replied raising her voice
“I saw you with a different guy about two weeks ago and now you have another boyfriend and in my school?” Vanessa sigh angrily and told the guy to excuse them then kissed him bye and he left
“I will see you when next you come home, I have to go now” she said again and turn to leave but Vienna held her back
“you are not leaving until we talk, what’s happening? Is this about Nisan?” she asked and Vanessa’s hands dropped
“this is not about anyone, its about my life and myself and its nobody’s business” she replied and start to walk away and wont budge to Vienna’s call at all.
Sam who has been standing there pull her back and then she remembered that there is someone else there with her
“I don’t think you should force it right now, why don’t you speak to her some other time, she seems to be in a bad mood” he advised and Vienna sighed heavily before following him
