Alan didn’t wake up until after midnight and noticed that his eyes was wrap up with bandage, he sit up and call out Joel’s name and he came in.

“you are awake, that took a long while anyways seems there is no reaction yet but in case you feel uncomfortable you must tell me immediately and also, you will have to remain here like this for some few more hours before I remove the bandage then we will be able to make a conclusion” Joel explained

“where is my phone?” Alan asked nodding to his instructions

“its kept ringing so I put it on silence and place it somewhere in the next room” he replied

“bring it here I need to check for any important call” he said anxiously

“why would you need to check any call now? You cant even see it and I told you not to try to use your eyes at all”

“you are here to check it for me aren't you? You don’t have to tell me that I know very well I cant see” he replied sarcastically and Joel shrugged then went to get the phone for him and start to read out the names of those who called him

“your secretary called twice and some number I cant recognize called about five times and also nanny called ten times your mother also called twice” he said as he recount the number of missed calls for him

“call back the unknown number first and put me through” he told him and he did so.

“its ringing” he said and hand the phone over to him. Alan took the phone and a familiar voice came through

“the recording has been tampered with and it was edited. Do you want me to find out more?” the voice asked

“no need, come see me two days from now I have another assignment for you and inform Don to finish up his assignment by then” he said and end the call

“who do you want to call next? Your mother?” Joel asked as he took the phone from him

“no whatever she has to say is not that important, call Kellie first” he instruct and took the phone back from him after he put the call through, The phone ring for a while more before Kellie finally pick the call

“thank goodness you finally called back sir” Kellie said after picking the phone with a sign of relieve heard in her voice. Alan keep quiet a sign that indicate for her to continue.

“I don’t know how but your grandfather find out about where you are and he said for you to come back immediately but more importantly than that miss Benita make a move on miss Vienna yesterday and tried to harm her but wasn’t able to but I just got a call now that miss Vienna fainted and is at the hospital. It seems quite serious and she is still unconscious” Kellie told him. Alan sprang up to his feet tensed and cut the call immediately then tried to remove the bandage on his eyes while Joel stop him

“wait, what do you think you are doing? You cant remove that yet” Joel protest and try to stop him but he wouldn't budge

“okay fine, calm down and let me do it for you” he finally resign and slowly took it off his face. Alan blink for a few second to check the effect on his eyes, Joel bought up his fingers to his face

“can you see anything? how many fingers am I holding?” he said anxiously and Alan blink twice before answering

“three fingers” Alan answered then Joel scream in excitement

“it worked! It really worked” he shouted with joy while Alan stood up impatiently to leave

“wait a minute, I need to observe and see if there is no side effect” he said trying to stop Alan at the same time

“okay fine I will go with you and drive you there” he said and they left together.

After the nanny took Vienna to the hospital, she called Kellie to inform since Alan wasn’t picking up and waited outside for the doctor to finish examining her. After sometime, the doctor came out from the emergency room and walk up to her by then Kellie already arrive at the hospital also

“what is your relationship with the patient?” the doctor asked with a worried expression

“she is our boss, we work for her. What is the issue?” Kellie answered eagerly

“actually we cant really pinpoint what the problem is. After examining her, she seems fine and nothing seems to be wrong with her but she is still unconscious and that is the issue. I will to know the details of what she happened to her and what she ate before she lost consciousness first because seeing her condition, it might be a rare sickness and since we are not able to detect anything in her body we have to run tests quickly because we don’t know how serious it is” he explained breathlessly. Kellie was dumbfound but the nanny was more shock because her food was the last thing Vienna ate before she fainted

“I will need you to consent for us to carry out some tests and also in case we have to perform an operation on her please do that fast” the doctor said again before leaving from there. The nanny turn to Kellie in fear shivering

“shouldn't we tell this to old Clinton before proceeding further? What if something bad happens?” she said more sacred

“if we wait till we inform anyone before taking any action then miss Vienna might come to more harm and that is going to cost us our head” Kellie replied and took an exit to go do according to what the doctor said while nanny wait at the entrance for her.
