This is obviously their plan to ruin her and make grandfather and Alan discard her but she wont give them the chance this time. She walk over to Alan and stood in front of him.
“Alan please listen to me I have proof that what they are both saying is a lie. I don’t have any kind of secret relationship with him please believe me” she said and look at him expectantly. Alan turn his face away from her and face the other side. Vienna felt her hope shattered and tears fall from her eyes. He didn’t believe her just like he didn’t believe her father too when she pleaded with him to. Suddenly someone push her away from Alan.
“stay away from my son, I knew it, a woman like you is definitely a gold digger and you don’t deserve to marry my son am sure you couldn’t wait any longer and didn’t want to marry a blind man that’s why you are looking for another alternative to achieve your dirty aims” Sasha said scornfully.
“no that’s not true I didn’t do that, am really just here to celebrate his birthday with me”
“really? Why didn’t you find something to use as an excuse, everyone here knows that his birthday is still in about five months from now and also how are you going to deny this recording” Benita said and played a recording on her phone.
“I can never marry a blind man and also I just want him for his money then leave him and go have a good life with my sweetheart” Vienna was shocked to hear her voice playing. She look at Benita with a questioning look and wonder how come such a recording with her voice saying those things is with her of all she remembered she has never said that before. Alan’s grandfather who has been quiet since just shake his head and left then followed by Alan’s father leaving behind Sasha with them.
“Alan why aren't you saying anything to her? She cheated on you” Sasha said facing him but he still did not say anything. Benita saw that she has already achieve her aim and walk over to Karen who has also remain silent and took him out with her while they all turn to Vienna.
“Alan lets go I will talk to your grandfather to cancel this engagement and reveal her true face to everyone lets go” Sasha said and pull Alan with her but he pull away from her then he walk forward a bit tracing Vienna’s trembling voice and stood in front of her.
“lets go” he said and held her hands then he walk out on his mother followed closely by Kellie. Sasha shouted after him but he ignore her and left the room then instruct Kellie to take care of things at the party first and also find an excuse for them having to leave early and enter into the car with Vienna then the driver drove off. Vienna sat down disturbed and staring intensely at Alan wondering what could be going on in his head. Why didn’t he say anything about what happened? Did this mean that he believe or not?” she thought and various other thoughts run through her mind. Vienna become uneasy after he still refuse to say anything ten minutes to the drive and decide to explain things to him.
“Alan actually what happened is that…” she tried explaining but then Alan close his eyes and rest his head on the arm of the seat and Vienna stopped in her words.
“what does he mean by that? Did he believe that she really did something like that?” she thought and turn her face away from him. It has always been this way, every time she tries to make a conversation with him he just keep silent and ignore her. Although he paid her to be here but at least she thought that she deserve some explanations from him. She sigh heavily and also rest her head. A guy does this when he is not interested in the girl, that’s why he is not even bothered by the fact that she is been accused of cheating on him he looks so calm like its none of his business. He probably thinks that since she will leave very soon. Vienna thinks about this things and a tear drop from her eyes and she quickly wipe it off. Although it was a contract relationship and she keep telling herself that she is just doing it for doing sake but deep down, she actually take it as something real at one point in time. She looks forward to him coming home like a wife waiting for her husband and also staying on the same bed with him and sometimes helping him around the house. Everything to her were their memories but to him it must have been nothing at all. Despite sleeping on the same bed for more than a month now he didn’t even make an attempt to touch her.
“then why did he kiss me the other day?” she question herself and feel more tears rolling down. The car pull up to a stop and she quickly get out of the car while Alan also followed unsteadily.
