Aviena's POV

"Come on, let go now, River… I'm going to work for a while," I laughed and said to River before I pushed me gently but he really didn't want to let me go. He just kept his hand on me as he hugged me. I couldn’t avoid shaking my head at him because of that.

“When will you resign with that job of yours? You will never go back there,” he said to me.

It's been a month since we got here and I don't know how it happen, I decided that Camillia and I will just stay here.

However, I will finish my project before I resign. That's the end of it too. I already told my boss that I will permanently stay here.

I am also looking for a job in the animation company here in the Philippines so I'm also really busy but of course, I still have time to have some fun with River. He almost didn't want to let us go. It also seems like he doesn't have any job because he often just invites me to travel.

"After I'm already done with our project in your brand," I said.

"No need for that, I'll just pay your company and no need to think for i—" I gave him a bad look.

“Don’t you dare! We're so excited about that project!” I can't help but say that we don't just like money. We also give our time, effort, and our creativity to the work. You can't just throw it away. Again, we see this as an opportunity, not just a job that we should finish. The company will be happy to promote our quality work through that commercial.

River just pouted because of me so I couldn't help but laugh at him.

“We need to go now. I'll also look for a job, ”I said.

“But I thought your company will have a branch here in the Philippines. Do you really need to resign?” he asked so I immediately looked at him. Because how did he know while I didn't even know about my company? He immediately closed his mouth so I couldn't help but wince as I looked at him. I think I know what's happening now, he will probably pull some strings again.

“You know I don’t like it when you do that, right? I want to work hard now. For myself. Not just for the sake of anyone. I want to be at the top with my own talent,” I said seriously to him so he pouted.

“I didn’t do anything. I just really heard it from your boss but of course, I don't know yet if it's true,” he said so I just roll my eyes.

“Still I’ll go now. You also have some work to do. Are you going to starve me and your daughter? Don't you want to work, huh? ” I asked him while narrowing my eyes at him. He laughed softly there.

"Even if I don't work for a lifetime, I can support you both for the rest of your lives," he said so I couldn't stop frowning before pushing him away.

“You brag! Stand now and let me go,” I said laughing at him. It's quite true though. There's so much investment River has. It's not just his company that makes a living for him because he also has a lot of business. Sideline. Sideline— just like that.

“And I’m going to enroll, Camillia. Do you want to or not?” I asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"Fine… we'll enroll Camillia later."

“Now, let me go. We need to go,” I said so he just nodded and did nothing but let me go.

Camillia is actually in Ocean's house. Ocean keeps on pestering us and doesn't want to leave us until she borrowed from her nephews and niece. I just let Camillia go because she is also excited to meet some of Ocean's kids. She has a lot of kids around her house. Her nephews, niece, and godchild.

I was actually going to meet someone in River's company today. Their marketing team. Just like I said, I'll finish our project. My team in Amsterdam was the one who said that I should be the one talking with the marketing team now. Levi will also come. He also flew here to the Philippines to help me talk to River's team. This will be the second to the last meeting and we're good to go. The project will also be completed.

Before I could finally enter the bathroom, River was already behind me and kissing my neck.

“Stop it, Savellano. I know your style. One more thing, aren't you going to work now? Why are you not even ashamed of your employees? You are very late alre— ” Before I could finish what I was about to say, a kiss on the lips was received from him. Ending— It also took us a long time in the bathroom. The jerk is even happy with what he did. The silly grin on his lips was even more annoying when we got out of the bathroom.

"What did you just do again?" I asked with wide eyes. I couldn't help but look in the mirror in fear that there were kiss marks coming from him again. My lips opened when I saw kiss marks on my cleavage. I just looked at him and just shook my head. I'm not even going to wear revealing clothes.

I'm just going to wear office attire so that I can be respectable if I go to his Wine Company. I just wore a baby blue office attire and tie my hair.

I immediately turned to him as he removed my hair tie.

“What is it again, River. I'm starting to get mad. I'm going to punish you,” I said so he immediately laughed.

"Don't hang out with Veron too much." I just stared at him. Well, I’m already mimicking Veron’s other line. Her lines of threats to her husband.

“And don’t reveal your neck. They'll be tempted,” he said, so I scolded him.

"'I'll be tempted'. I have corrected it. You're the only one who just like my neck so much,” I said, glaring at him. He just pouted there. I just shook my head at him before starting to walk.

I ended up riding with him because the brute would keep pestering me until I got in his car.

“Don’t stick with that idiot too much. I won't be able to concentrate, ” he told me so I just shook my head.

“Wow, will I be the one to adjust for you? And why would you be there? The only one I'll be meeting is your company's marketing team,” I said so he shrugged as if he had no intention of answering my question.

I can't help but shake my head at him.

“Don’t stick around me too. I don't want people to see us together. I'm going there as a business partner,” I said so he immediately looked at me. He raises his eyebrow like a boss. Apparently, he had no plans to start his engine.

“And why is that? Everyone knows that we're together,” he said, almost rolling his eyes at me. I couldn't help but laugh there.

“I don’t want people to think that we only got that project because of you. And do you want to let your employee realize that their CEO is actually a smitten dog?” I asked not to lose my grin especially when I saw that my plan became successful. It took me almost 6 years to get my sweet little revenge on him. I just gave him a kiss mark on his neck. And I was able to cover his gaze in the mirror earlier. My grin was wider so he raised an eyebrow at me.

“Let them think. It's true anyways,” he said so I almost choked on my own saliva. I just stared at him because I could feel the redness on my face. Damn me. Just like that, I already feel how he makes my heart flutter.

I gave him another look at his neck so he frowned. I just laughed before I shifted my gaze outside so he immediately turned to me.

"What did you do?" he asked me so I just kept quiet and pretended that I did nothing. I could still see how he narrowed his eyes before he look at me. He looked at himself in the rear mirror until he saw what I was smirking for. I thought he'd get mad but I just saw how he smirked.

"I think I won't be needing a necktie today," he said, smiling as he loosened it and almost opened some buttons on his dress.

“Seatbelt, Wife,” he said before leaning at me.

"You're right I'm all yours," he flirtatiously said when he adjusted my seatbelt. Before I could speak he immediately walked away from me.

"Damn." He immediately averted his eyes from me and began to operate the vehicle. I couldn't help but laugh when I looked at his lower body. Someone was saluting right now.

"So the ruthless CEO is going to the office with a very hard day." He chose to drive seriously. I just laughed before doing things we suppose not to. Damn him too. He can easily drive women crazy.

When we got there, a grin widened on his lips. Of course, his problem was solved.

I just shrugged before fixing myself.

“Don't enter with me. I'm serious, Savellano,” I promised seriously. He nodded before nodding. It seems like he's willing to follow any order I have for him right now. I couldn’t avoid shaking my head before going inside.

Some people look at me and straighten their back or sit up straight. The employees even greeted me so I did the same.

Levi is already here so I immediately waved at him before approaching.

“How are you? How's your flight here? ” I asked him. Maybe he's a little feeling strange because he's in a foreign country now.

“It’s completely fine, Aviena. And people are nice too,” he said so I smiled and agreed with him. That's always the case for some foreign people who are visiting the Philippines. I can always say that Filipinos are so nice and friendly to other people.

“Do you have a hotel that you can stay in while you are here?” I ask.

“I already book one. How's Camillia? Can I see her next time?” he asked me.

“Sure, you can! Come with me later. She will be so happy to see you,” I said with a wide smile on her face.

“How about you? Boss said that you're already planning to resign in our company after this project. Why?” he asked me.

"I decided to just stay here," I said so little by little he nodded at me.

We're about to enter the elevator when we hear the employees confusedly whispering with each other. I couldn't help but frown when I saw River seriously flaunt his kiss mark on the neck. I couldn’t help but be annoyed with him. Instead of him feeling ashamed, I was the one who couldn't help feeling nervous around his employees.

"Are you okay, Aviena?" Levi asked me. I nodded to him and smiled. Surprisingly, he did not ask anything. We're already in the elevator when River entered too. I was on the button side when River leaned just to click a button there.

"I love how you mark me, Mrs. Savellano," he whispered softly to me.
