Aviena's POV

We also didn't follow the plan to stay in Cebu for so long because River's Grandpa sent us home immediately. He was immediately reprimanded for not even bringing Camillia to their house before we traveled.

I can already feel the nervousness in me. I'm also preparing to their resentment to me because I didn't say that River and I had a child when in fact we didn't separate. No divorce took place or what.

“Ma, what does Grandpa looks like? Is he scary? ” Camillia asked me so I shook my head. He's not really that scary but he just always likes to have a grandchild so I feel like he'll be angry that I even hid Camillia from him.

"Auntie said that he is," Camillia said so I just laughed. He's scary when it comes to his granddaughter's suitors.

We're in the car now and Camillia keeps questioning River's family. I also answer her questions. I just don't really know if they change now.

“Grandpa likes you already,” River said while he was driving. Camillia just nodded and smiled at her father before looking out of the car. I don’t know if Camillia just inherited from me being conscious of what other people think but now that I think about it I don’t really mind their thoughts anymore. But the opinion of those people that was important to me is what matters the most right now.

When we arrived at the Savellanos' mansion, Ocean greeted us immediately. She was also really excited when we arrived or should I say excitedly to see Camillia?

"Camillia!" she shouted loudly before immediately hugging our daughter.

"I miss you so much, Auntie!" Camillia said, smiling at her.

“Me too! Your Dad is so selfish. You should be everyone's baby!” Ocean said so I just shake my head at her. She immediately picked up Camillia who was also excited to see her Auntie.

“Let’s swim later! I bought you a swimsuit! ” Ocean smiled so Camillia nodded.

We went inside. I also bought some food to give to River's family. I was just quiet as we walked there. I also felt nervous when some housemaids greeted us inside.

"Good noon po," I greeted them. They immediately look at us when they see we have arrived.

Tashi smiles at me when she sees me. She also immediately came to greet me. Tashi is really the most friendly one in this family.

“Hey, how are you, Aviena? It's been a long time since the last time I saw you,” she said to me with a smile.

“Hey, I’m fine! How about you? Ocean told me that you already have a daughter!” She nodded at me and called out to the girl who was holding a book. It seems like she was studying. She was also wearing glasses while the dark black hair was inherited from his mother. It is also white as if it is not coming out. When she sit beside my daughter Camillia would really look so tan. It was as if her daughter had been conceived in the snow. I couldn’t help but smile on my lips because Ocean was also really excited to introduce Camillia to Serenity. They are really the same age.

"This is Seren, my daughter," Tashi said while holding the child who lowered her book and turned to me. She politely bowed to me before slightly smiling.

“Good afternoon, Auntie Aviena. I’m Serenity, ” she said. I smiled at her before sitting in front of her.

“I’m Auntie Aviena. Nice to meet you, Serenity,” I said so she stared at me.

“I like you, Auntie. You know how to properly talk with kids,” she said so Tashi just laughed before messing up her daughter's hair. Serenity had no expression when she looked back at her mother. She slowly nodded before she straightened her hair.

“Oh, Is that Serenity, Auntie? The one you're talking about?" Camillia asked Ocean. Ocean nodded before lowering my son.

“Hello, Ms. Serenity, I'm Fluvius Camillia Savellano. I know some information about you,” Camillia said to Serenity who turned to her. She still doesn't have any expression on her face before she slowly smiles at Camillia.

“Nice to meet you, Camillia. Auntie also told me about you too," Serenity said.

"I hope we can be friends!" Camillia said to her.

“I don’t think we can. Auntie said you like adventure while if I can, I would like to stay in my room the whole day,” Serenity said so Camillia pouted there.

“But that’s completely fine with me. People can be friends without them being the same. ” Camillia still smiled so Ocean just laughed before she messed up both of their hair.

“Omg! We can have a girls' hang out soon! ” Ocean smiled so we just shook our heads at her. She seems to be planning right away.

I just stopped when I realized we were already surrounded by River’s relatives.

"Is that my granddaughter?" River's Grandfather asked who immediately approached our side. Camillia also immediately introduced herself to them. They looked at the child with great comfort.

l somehow thought they won't like her but it seems like I had no problem at all with that. Somehow, they love the child.

They were ecstatic as they listened to Camillia. Serenity seems like she rather read books than interact with people.

I also immediately saw Sertio who was a bit taller now.

“How are you, Auntie Aviena?” Sertio said while smiling at me.

"Wow, progress, huh, Nak?" Tashi said to him with a laugh.

“Of course, he already found someone he likes. He doesn't want to marry Aviena now, Big BrotherSpring laughed, who was just teasing his son. I just laughed because Big BrotherSpring's hand was immediately wrapped around Tashi's. It seems like some things don't really change. I just smiled as I looked at them. I also don’t know what was the reason why I looked at River’s side. He was with our daughter. When he noticed my look, he also glanced at me. I fell silent before averting my eyes.

“So here you are, Aviena. I don't know what your problems, really. When you hide my grandchildren's child, can you not include me? I can even help you if you want,” Don Crisostomo said. Trying to tell Tashi and me.

Some of River's Auntie didn't really talk to me but maybe that's better than the way they treated me before. It also seems that they have somehow changed. Some of River's cousins are also randomly talking with me. I don’t know what happen but they are nice to me now.

Maybe because Ocean talks to me casually now. It's a good thing that Tashi is also here to talk to me.

"Can we talk seriously now, Aviena?" Auntie asked me after going through my place. I nodded at her before following. I just kept quiet as I followed Auntie.

“Where are you going, Mama? We already talk about this, right?” River asked his mother who turned to him.

“It’s fine. I also want to talk to your Mom,” I said to River who turned to me. He frowned at me before doing nothing.

We just went to Auntie's garden because her family is in the pool area now. I also want to say sorry to Auntie for not being honest from the start. Another, I know how wrong I am. I know wrong how I ended up with the two of us by River. Maybe I understand Auntie better now that I have a child. Even though Camillia is getting older, I don’t think I can still be calm thinking that she got hurt because of someone or because of something.

I was ready to receive criticism from her when her serious face suddenly looked so soft now. The way how River always looks so serious but when he talks to me it softens a bit. Of course, that was years ago. But still, that's how he talked to Camillia right now.

"I'm sorry," she said so my lips parted as I looked at her.

"Po?"

"I'm sorry for how badly I treated you years ago and last week," she said so I stared at her.

“I just don’t like the idea that you’re dating River for his money. I thought you don't love him at all. I know I suppose not to mess with your relationship, especially that you two are married. I'm sorry for that, Hija… I just don't really want my son to get hurt,” Auntie said so I immediately shake my head. It's also a bit confusing that she's apologizing when in fact I should have done it first.

“No, Auntie. I understand where you're coming from. I am aware that my image is not that good. I am aware that many men have linked to me. I know that you just don't want River to be in pain just because of someone. I'm genuinely sorry, Auntie, because I really can't answer your question years ago because that's the truth. I really date River for his money. We started with a contract. I thought that was it but I did fall for him. I genuinely love him when we started dating each other, Auntie,” I said, smiling at her.

“I'm sorry for hiding my daughter from all of you. I'm sorry for not being a good daughter-in-law to you, Auntie. I just really feel so guilty when I'm talking with you. ” I don’t know how I’m going to look at Auntie now. Maybe I'm good at being plastic with other people but aside from being ashamed of River's mother, I feel guilty that time we started fooling them all.

"I am sorry too for not being so nice mother-in-law and misunderstood you," she told me.

“I’m sorry for being mad at you last week. I was just really shocked that you came back and have a daughter now. Apart from the fact that I was not invited to your first wedding, it is sad that I am still not at your daughter's baptism,” she said, so I could not help but feel guilty.

“But I can be with you in your second baby, right?” she asked so I almost choked on my own saliva. Aside from the fact that River and I aren't even talking, I'm not even sure what the future holds for my daughter and me.

“I hope you can now make your family much stronger. I just hope for your genuine happiness, Hija. ” She even smiled at me before she hugged me. I hugged her back as well. It is also comforting when you reduce the weight of the chest you are carrying.

I hope things will just be just like this.

When we got back I just stopped to see River standing on the side while he seemed to be waiting for us. We went straight to him when we saw him. I immediately met his blue eyes.

Is he worried?

Damn that eyes.

He really knows how to make my heart crazy just by using those blue eyes.
