Aviena's POV

“Let’s go. I'll drop you home,” he told me so I couldn't help but to roll my eyes.

"I told you, I have my car," I said, being annoyed, so I could see the smile on his lips.

"Where is it then?" he asked me as he leaned back in his Lamborghini.

"It's just here earlier," I said weakly because even if I turned around the whole parking lot, I still couldn't find my car.

"Your car got towed I think?" he said seriously but the playfulness was noticeable in his voice. I couldn't help but look at him.

Towed— my ass? Here? My car was properly parked earlier! I know he did something again.

"Where is it, Savellano?" I ask.

“Hmm, let me just give you a ride while I was staying here, Mrs. Savellano,” he said before opening the door. He even raised his eyebrow as he ushered me into his car.

I can't help but think twice. Should I tell him about our daughter now? What should I do?

Eventually, I nervously got into his car. I was about to adjust my seatbelt when I heard Camillia's voice from my phone. My muscles immediately went cold and I nervously turned down the volume of my phone before I tried to talk to her.

Fortunately, River just entered his car. He looked at me when he saw me calling on the phone.

“Are you coming home now, Mama? I'm ready to go to the amusement park now!” My daughter's voice was excited when she said that. I slowly calmed down when I heard her voice.

"Yes, I love you, I'll go home now…" I said. I also can't help but laugh because since she came into my life, she became my pills.

Gradually, the smile faded from my lips when I saw how River look at me. His face immediately turned dark. I fell silent and averted my eyes from him. I'm feeling more guilty that I'm talking to his daughter without them both knowing that they're just close to each other. I was guilty that I was just next to River but I couldn't tell the daughter, same with River.

“Okay, Mom! I'll wait for you in front of our house!” she said so my eyes widened slightly.

“No, Baby, wait for me in our room instead. I'll see you later. I love you, Mahal ko,” I said. I know it's easy to talk to Camillia so she will follow what I say.

“I love you, Mama. See you po!” I couldn’t stop the smile on my lips until the call was over. Gradually, it disappeared when River stopped the car without telling me.

"What is it, River?" I asked him in shock. This idiot, we didn't even leave yet, he's going to kill me with nervousness. I still want to see our daughter alive! I was about to scold him but I could immediately see the irritation on his face.

He turned to me before slowly looking at me.

"Are you having an affair, Woman?" he asked so I almost choked on my own saliva. He was asking me but I could feel the tremor in my chest. Damn him. Can I still love someone other than my child, when he is the only one I often think of when I look at the sky?

I also couldn't speak because I didn't know how to explain that I was talking to his daughter.

"Break up with that idiot before I'll find him," he said seriously. I couldn't help but look at him. I don't know if I'm going to laugh or what but because of his face, he doesn't seem to be joking with me.

“I…” I was about to say things when someone blew their horn at us.

“Move your car. Do you think it's your own route?” I said, averting my eyes from him.

"Break up with that boy toy of yours right now, Aviena," he said so I was stunned. I just bit my lips so hard before I turned to him. I also didn't know what to say so I just pouted.

“There’s no boy toy at all. Let's go now. Can't you hear their horns?” I asked, frowning at him. He just kept his eyes on me.

"It's up to you," I just looked at him irritably. I was about to get out of his car when he spoke.

"I'll make sure that I'll give you and your boy toy a hell," he whispered as he locked me with one of his hands.

I was stunned before he pushed.

“Move your car now. You are just disturbing the road,” I told him seriously. With the sound of the horn and my urge for him to start the car, he could do nothing but drive. I can see how bad he looks even on the road. You thought something bad had happened to him because of his look.

I restrained myself from staring at his arm. Damn it. It looks like you can still be thrown away in bed. I was just shaking my head at the thought.

“This is not my way home. I told you I'm from Noord,” I seriously said at him.

"I need to go home fast," I said because I promised Camillia that we would take a walk today. Even my daughter understood. She's still fast to be irritated. She'll be mad if I won't be able to do what I promised her.

“Why? Is your boy toy waiting for you in your room?” he asked raising an eyebrow. I can’t help but shake my head there. It's his daughter that waiting for me right now.

“Let’s eat dinner first. I'm already hungry,” he said. The decision seemed final and there was no intention to follow me home early. I gave him a glare.

"I'm going home," I said seriously.

"Let's go home to the Philippines then… Go home to me…" He's still so damn attractive when he speaks Tagalog.

“I’m not kidding, Savellano. I need to go home,” I said seriously. He didn’t listen to me and just kept staring straight at the road. He looks so mad while driving.

Until we got to a resto he just kept on entering. I just closed my eyes because I can't leave him here now either.

I'm already texting Nanny that I won't be able to go home earlier when I see the glare River gave my cellphone as if it has any fault to him.

“Eat now. I thought you were hungry?” I asked him while observing his many orders. I looked back and forth at the phone because there was no reply from Camillia’s Nanny.

He didn't say anything. He still seems to be in slow motion when he moves.

“Why can't you stop looking at your phone. Eat,” he said so I was just pissed before I started eating. I finished quickly as he barely ate anything. He wasn't like that before, I was even slower after that. I don’t know if it’s because he changed or he really wants to annoy me.

When my cellphone rang, I immediately took it. He also stopped eating while looking at me.

“I’ll excuse myself first. I'll just answer the call,” I said before heading straight to the comfort room.

"You promise me that we're going to go to the amusement park today, Mama!" Camillia complained to me after I just answered the call. I knew it would go away right away so I couldn’t help but close up.

“I'm sorry… Mama's still at work… Can you ask Nanny to take you instead? We'll go together next time, I promise… ” I said. She did not speak there.

“I don’t want you to promise me now, Mama…” she said. I know that she's really mad now. I didn't keep my promise to her. She hates it when someone's not doing their promises. Eventually, I could do nothing but ask her Nanny to take her for a walk first so that she wouldn't be so disappointed. Her Nanny also agreed.

When I went back to my seat with River, he was not eating anymore. He looks really mad right now. Also frowning now. I couldn’t avoid being pouty. He's also mad right now. They are just the same– Like father, like daughter indeed. I just shook before I look at him.

“Are you done? Can we go home now?” I asked him. He gave me a cold look. He's also annoyed

We got in his car. I thought he was going to go straight home but I couldn't help but frown when I realized we had stopped again. My eyes narrowed as I looked at him.

“What? I want Ice cream?” he asked questioningly. There is no more legible expression on his face now. He was already serious while looking at me.

"You hate sweets," I said.

"But I like you," he said with a smile. It was as if something else was on my mind so I almost choked on my own saliva. If I could just throw something at him, I will.

“Fine. Do whatever you want. I'll take a cab now,” I said. I hope you thought about that earlier, Aviena.

He immediately grabbed me by the wrist because of that.

“I’ll drop you home now. I'll just finish this,” he said so my eyes just narrowed. I'll finish this– but it took him an hour before it's finally over.

I was so upset when we went home. His face is also blank and from time to time he looks more and more annoyed so I can't help but roll my eyes. I should be the one to be angry because our daughter has been waiting for a while. Well, he still could because until now I still can't say much about our child.

"Just there," I said as we approached the house. I know Camillia isn't here now because she's definitely going for a walk but I was scared so I really didn't say anything to River. I went out and so did River, who managed to open the door for me.

I couldn't seem to get out of my seat when I saw Camillia coming into our house. She saw me immediately, she would have waved but when she realized that she was really upset with me, she did not continue to do anything. She just pouted while walking toward our home. Nanny Ladies also looked at me. She would have greeted me but I immediately shook my head.

River was looking at me because of that, he would have looked at Camillia's place when I spoke.

"Can I kiss you?" I don't know why I asked that. Even if I'm annoyed with him, it's still in the back of my head. I saw how he was magnetized in the place he was standing.

"What?"

Before he could look, I kissed him on the cheek.

He was shocked when I did that. Camillia entered just in time so I immediately took a deep breath.

The uncontrollable heartbeat returned when I realized what I had done. I also quickly walked away from him.
