River's POV

For years I always watch her from afar. I tried to think that it was just mere attraction even if I really like her.

"Are you still a fanboy, Brother?" Ocean asked me laughingly when she heard from Marissa about me, like an actress. She doesn't know Aviena's name. Just know I’m a fanboy of whoever it is. I just gave her a cold look. It's just annoying how both of them tease me.

"Looks like the girl you like already has a boyfriend," Marissa said while reading some articles and news about her. She was linked with one of her co-actors. I just smiled there before continuing with the work. I can't really do anything about that. She's pretty and many people like her. I'm just one of them.

But I also know that some news is just too exaggerated. I saw her at some parties and they just talked but people will already assume that Aviena's dating them. And she's now having a big fandom so people are really interested in her.

Just a small thing she does, it will always be the talk of the town.

I watched how her career bloomed. Starting from the antagonist role she has, she now has a protagonist role. At first, she was known for her sexy roles but later she was also known in various genres in the film. He also stars in children's shows. She suits those roles the most. Maybe the first impression really last, I always feel like she's still that innocent girl I met.

“How will I be able to book a ticket from the cinema online?” I asked Marissa who was looking at me now. Most of the time, I just buy tickets in person. I really like it when people praise her acting skill. She deserves it.

“Oh, just a ticket? I thought you had already booked the whole cinema last night?” she asked me.

"I want to watch it again," I said. I want to watch it with people to see their reactions this time.

"River 'Whipped' Savellano that should be your name." She laughed at me before shaking her head.

“Just teach me how to book it. You really have a lot to say. ” She stared at me and said a lot more before she booked the ticket.

That's how I usually do things. When I'm stressed, I just watch some of her movies. Maybe I was really her fanboy.

“Vena is so gorgeous, right, Old man? What do you think of her being my wife someday?” I almost choked on my own saliva when Sert said that, my nephew. I gave Brother a glare because of what he was teaching his son.

I don't know how all of them in Bachelors know that I like Vena. They just really like to gossip.

“What? He just saw her in your liked posts. Is it my fault that you just like to heart Vena's posts on the internet?” Brother smiled at me. I just ignored him teasing me.

“Why don’t you make a move? Don't tell me you're scared? It's not a trend among Savellano,” Brother told me, still smirking from his lips. I just looked at him for a moment before shaking my head. I don't really have a plan to make a move on Aviena. I just really like admiring her from afar. I like it this way.

We have several interactions when at the same party but that's it. She doesn't even seem to remember me. She seems like it doesn't really interest her to talk with other people. But she is always around the place. I don’t know why idiots don’t notice that she’s not really interested in them. I know what I'm saying is contradicting but that's how I see things. Maybe I'm wrong. But still, it annoys me every time I saw how those guys hold her hands as if they hide a meaning with those touches.

“You always ruin your night because of her. Why don't you just send boundaries so you won't need to think about those assholes?” Light said to me. I ignored what they were saying and just kept my eyes on the idiots who passed by talking about how they would be able to take Aviena tonight.

“Make their life miserable,” I told my secretary who was here with me. He already knows what to do with those people. It is not new for him to fire them from their respective projects. And if it's a businessman, we are withdrawing our investment.

"You're really losing your mind." Light laughed who was just entertaining himself by watching us.

I thought we'll just remain that way, not until that night happened. The Governor's birthday. Bachelors were invited and there were also a lot of celebrities there. I had no intention of going but my nephew Sert kept on asking me to bring him. Brother won't go because he's busy flirting with his girlfriend.

"Daddy said that Vena will be there," Sert told me. I can't avoid shaking my head because my brother plans it all, for her to have solo moments with her girlfriend, he expects me to take care of his son again.

“Fine. But don't even try on going away. I won't look for you. I'll drop you there if you dare,” I said to him so he just pouted.

His father will just drop him at the party later so there's really no problem at all.

I was already at the party when I saw Aviena's talking with others. She just keeps on smiling at them but I can see how different her eyes are. I don't know if I'm just overanalyzing things when it comes to her or what. I saw how her sister slash manager push her with so many men. I always saw her do that. I can't help but be irritated as I talk to some businessman who's proposing their ideas here.

I was about to go back to our table, at my friend's table, when Aviena suddenly spilled alcohol on my clothes. I can't help but wonder if she's already drunk. She always drinks when in fact it seems like she can't really take care of herself. I don't know why I'm feeling nervous now that I'm facing her. She's much prettier in person. All those photos of her on the internet don't do her justice.

"Omg, I'm sorry!" I could see the bewilderment on her face as she looked at me now. At least I was the same. Damn it. What's wrong with me now?

She tried to approach me but I immediately stopped her. It's not good for my heart.

"It's fine." I chose to calm myself before I turned away. Damn it. She was even able to touch the hem of your dress just to ask questions using that innocent eyes she has but an alluring smile that always allures assholes. I just looked at her. I was about to close my eyes when she bit her lips as she looked at me now.

“You won’t ask for a payment? It looks… your dress looks expensive… ” I just gave her a cold look and rejected her.

When I just went back to my friends. Their smirk is wide as they look at me. Those smiles were annoying and ready to irritate me. Pride and Lake immediately took the lead which was the most chismoso one.

"Interact with crush!" Lake laughed before having a fist bump with Pride who's acting like a cool kid. They couldn’t help but grin at me. I wouldn't even pay attention to their teasing laughter.

"You still like Aviena, River?" Atasha asked me while smiling. She had just arrived. She's actually Aviena's friend.

“You’re good to go. There's no one who caught her interest yet. She'll probably like you too,” she said so Black immediately frowned before giving me a glare. I just raise my eyebrow at him.

“How would you know? Why? Do you like River? ” Black asked Atasha with an annoyed tone. Our friends immediately threw a tissue at Black

"Atasha will choke on you with that, go ahead," they just teased him.

"I can do that in different ways though," Black said so Atasha glared at him. I just shake my head at them before I looked at Aviena who was talking with different people. We interact again because of Sert and that's it. Big Brother immediately tease me because of that.

And the fucking next day, a scandal broke up.

"Have you seen the news, Savellano?" Light smiled at me before he sat down on the sofa here in the office. I just look at him with annoyance. Sometimes it's really annoying to see Light Sandoval here.

"Your beloved celebrity is actually the Governor's mistress." He smiled like a dog while teasing me. I don't really believe that news. I saw Aviena last night. The talk with the Governor is so short. The shot is from that talk. I was with them at that time.

"She's not," I said coldly so the grin widened even more from Light's lips as he looked at me now.

"I wonder what River Savellano will do this time," he said with a smile so I just gave him a glare. I didn't say anything at all. Well, I always do things with the bad image she sometimes gets. It annoyed me, the reason why I always try to clean her name and that's what I'll do right now.

I'll just look for some evidence that she's not. She won't stoop that low.

I was busy with what I'm doing when I heard a knock from my secretary.

“Mr. Savellano, someone wants to see you,” he said.

"I told you that don't expect me to meet people who don't have an appointment at all," I said seriously while my eyes were still on the papers.

“It's Ms. Aviena Cariñuevo, Sir,” he said so I immediately stopped in my seat. I don't know if I can still move now.

“Huh? Why would she come here?” I asked but also agreed to let Aviena enter. But to my disappointment, it was her sister who introduced herself to me.

A cold look I gave my secretary and her Big Sister.

"Sir, please save my sister's career," she said, kneeling in front of me. I just gave her a cold look.

“Can you marry Aviena, Mr. Savellano? We really need money!” her sister said. I couldn’t help but frown. Even if I like her I won't marry her without her consent. I don't even want to force her to have a date with me. And now married?

"Aviena… Aviena will rot in jail if you won't be able to help us, Sir… She can even serve you for the rest of your life if you want…" she said. I can help her with that. I can prevent her from being imprisoned. I can pay their debts.

"Get out before the guards drag you out, Miss," I seriously said. For no apparent reason, I was irritated at the idea of her wanting to take Aviena to someone she didn't really know.

There's nothing she could do but leave. She seems like she's already desperate.

She was already outside when I heard her talking to some politician who also got power in our industry on the intercom. I immediately stopped there. She won't stop until she makes her marry someone else. How can her sister sell her like that?

Damn it.

"Make her come back here inside," I told my secretary. Her sister came back inside. She was even saying things I don't really care about.

"Does she already know about this?" I ask. Her sister hesitated to answer until he gradually nodded. My eyes remained blank.

"I'll marry her then."
