Aviena's POV

I can't help but look at the box I'll give to River. I want to tell him right away. I really want to tell him right away that I’m pregnant but I want it to be in a special way. His birthday is coming up. I want his birthday to be special.

I was about to meet him inside the penthouse when I stopped because I saw Big Sister.

“Oh, Vena. It's still early, but you are here now?" she asked me, still raising an eyebrow at me.

"Alas," she said so I can't help but to furrowed my forehead at her. What does she mean by that?

“What are you doing in our penthouse, Ate? I thought you and your boyfriend are already staying at our condo?” I asked her.

“Well, I just want to be here,” she said. I even frowned when I saw her wearing some of my lingerie. I just shake my head before finally going inside. I was about to go in when she ask something to me.

"Why isn't your husband coming home here, Aviena?" she asked me.

"Maybe your husband has a woman. Now that you barely coming home," she said, so I looked at her. I just laughed there. I don't really think about that at all. We've been married three times, is he really going to do something outrageous now?

“He’s staying in his mansion, Ate. You're staying here, he also wanted to rest,” I said so she looked at me.

“What? Did you tell him to stay in his mansion?” she asked, still frowning at me. I turned to look at her there and looked her in surprise.

“No, Ate. He's just staying there to let you rest here too,” I said. I just shrugged but I could see the irritation on her face.

“Just tell that you really did tell him to stay there. Maybe you don’t trust me? I am the reason why you're here, remember that,” she said to me so I couldn't help but frown at her. I'm in a good mood to ruin it because of her.

I just ignored her and just took off the shoes I was wearing.

"What is that?" Her voice was calm when she asked me what box I was holding.

"I'll give it to River as a gift, Ate," I said with a smile so she turned to me. I can see how she narrowed her eyes while looking at me.

"What's that?" she asked.

"I'm pregnant, Ate… You're going to be Tita!" I couldn't hide the joy in my voice when I said that. I was so excited to tell her. I can see Ate look. He also looked so shocked at the news I said but also slowly smiled at me.

"Congratulations," she said, hugging me tightly. I couldn’t help but smile on my lips. I think River will be happy too. We both want this. Especially his Grandfather for sure.

"So you'll give it to River as a gift?" he asked me. I nodded there.

"I'll give this on his birthday," I said with a wide smile on my lips. She just look at me because of that before smiling slightly.

I didn't even pay attention when she looks like reflecting on something while we were on the sofa. I would have stood up when she spoke.

"Aviena," he called to me so I turned to him.

"River only wants your child," she said, so I furrowed my forehead at her.

“He only wants a child to begin with. First of all, that was his plan. You also said, his grandpa always tries to ask you to bear a successor. That's why River still can't get his inheritance from his Grandfather, right?” Ate asked me. My lips parted as I looked at her. Yes, his grandfather always asked for a baby but he also did with his other grandchildren. His grandpa just really like a lot of grandchildren and River looks completely fine with his money.

But that's right. To this day, his Grandfather still cannot give his inheritance to his grandson. Still, I trust River, if he only wants a child, many people want to have sex and get pregnant with him. Why would he even torture himself then? Why would he bother to take my heart just so he can have a child, right?

“If you ever bear the child, he can take it away from you. Or maybe someone will just throw you away like garbage in case you give birth to a child. You know how ruthless he is when it comes to business. And from the start, you know that what you have is purely business to him. It's not impossible for him to just ignore you after this, Aviena. You can still go. If you love your child, go away from this. Hide. If you want to live with your child, you should run away from River,” she told me, so I couldn't help but laugh there.

“You’re just thinking too much, Ate. River is not someone like that,” I said because it is true that River is not like that. She just looks at me as if I'm unbelievable.

“It is really true what they say when a person is on top, their head also grows. Don't be too complacent, Aviena. You're not that good for River not to trade you for money. He'll take your son. I'm sure of that. You don't really listen to me anymore. It's up to you then,” she said, standing up. She went straight to the guest room in the bedroom. She immediately grabbed some of her belongings before marching away. I just watched her leave our penthouse. I also couldn’t help but frown because of that. I just shook my head and ignored our conversation.

Ate is always really angry. I don’t even know if she has any anger in the world or what.

Instead of stressing myself out because of her. I just decided to visit River as well. I also set aside the box in my wardrobe.

When I arrived, his staff knew me and greeted me one by one. I just smile at them.

I also just went straight up to River’s office. This was actually the first time I'll visit him here. After all, I wasn't really the one who likes to have surprise visits. I just don’t want to bother but I just really want to see him right now. That one surely didn't have lunch either. He's so busy that sometimes he forgets to eat. He won't eat at all if you won't remind him.

"Is he busy?" I asked his secretary.

“He is po, Ma'am, but I think he'll want to see you too po. Just go ahead,” he told me but I just smiled before handing him River's lunch.

“Can you give it to him? I don't want to-"

"Ma'am, I'll be scolded if you don't come in," he said so I just shake my head. Knowing River, it's not that impossible.

I knocked twice before entering. I couldn’t help but smile on my lips when I saw River busy with his work. He's really busy with a lot of workloads.

"Hi," I greeted him as I approached his table. He immediately looked at me. He sat up straight before I turned around.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" He was still a little surprised at me so I just laughed while showing the lunch I was holding.

"I just thought that you didn't eat, you're too busy with your work," I said. He touched my wrist and I didn’t even realize I was already sitting on his thighs.

"Hey, stupid, you're in the office," I said when he kissed me on the lips. I couldn’t help but laugh when instead of us having dinner, literal eating took place.

I hit him when we were both tired of what was done.

"You jerk, I said just eat," I said with a bad look given him but the smirk never left his lips.

“We ate though—” Before he could finish what he was going to say, I glared at him. It just made me laugh. It's a good thing people don't see each other outside. It's just embarrassing because this one is really annoyingly sexy.

I was just in his lap while we were eating.

"Come in," he said when his secretary called and it looked like some of his friends were there. The bachelors. I was going to get up but he still wouldn't let me go. He just kept his grip on me.

"Can you please respect the table, you are flirting too much" Lake said immediately and almost choked while watching his cousin River.

"What are you doing here?" River asked with a rude voice. I couldn't help but sigh before I nudge him. River's face immediately frowned.

"We have a lot of meetings to do but look at you, still have time to flirt," Black told him. I smirk at Black giving him a teasing look because he also has time to flirt with Atasha even if he's busy. He's head over heels with my friend.

“Poison is missing. His girl is in the Senator's hand right now,” Pride said who sat down on River's sofa.

“I’ll call my private investigator. Restrain him first. You know how he'll do reckless things. ” Soon after, River said goodbye. I let him be. The two of us already finished eating too.

I also went home first to rest after that.

I was about to enter our penthouse when I saw Gilbert trying to pull Ate. I thought Ate had come home in the condo, it looks like she's back here again.

“What’s going on here? What are you doing to Ate, Gilbert?” I angrily asked while trying to come between them.

“Ask your sister! She's fucking seducing your husband!” Gilbert's angry voice. Even on his face, it was as if he was ready to hurt. I feel like he's going to hurt Ate any time they get out of here.

“What is it, Gilbert? Don't hurt Ate!” I shouted loudly and tried to remove Gilbert's hand from his but he immediately take my hand away.

“For a few days, your sister didn't come home waiting for your husband! Do you know her plan from the very beginning? She let you marry him because she wants to claim your husband in the end! Don't make this good sister of yours fool you!” he shouted loudly so I just furrowed my forehead there. Did Gilbert become crazy?

Ate laughed so I couldn't help but look at her.

“Aviena won't believe you! Are you stupid? I'm her sister! Fuck you!” Ate shouted loudly at him and tried to remove the grip on his hand.

“Why? Isn't it true that you just used Aviena because you want to have a relationship with River Savellano? From the start, he was your target. You really want to get married and it's okay even with Aviena becoming the first wife because, in the end, your sister is so kind to you that you think she can give you everything you ask for! You are really crazy!” Gilbert shouted angrily at her.

I couldn't help but shake my head at what he said but when I looked at Ate, I could see how badly she looked at her boyfriend.

When she turned his back on me, she immediately softened.

"That's true, Aviena…"

"You told me before that you don't like River, did you?"
