There was silence between the three of them as they sat in the sitting room. Thoughts kept running through Valerie's mind, and for some reason, she felt guilty.

Ethan broke the silence. “Becca, why didn't you tell anyone that you were coming over?”

“Really? Do I have to inform my boyfriend before visiting him? I should even have a spare key to your room, Ethan. What do you think?” Rebecca raised her brows.

President Ethan glanced at Valerie, who turned her gaze away. “You… I'm not saying that it is wrong for you to visit, but you should at least, please let me know before coming.”

“Why? Is it because there's something you're hiding from me? Ethan, it's been a long time since I visited. Trust me, it's going to be a long visit.” Rebecca snorted.

Feeling uneasy, Valerie quickly sprang up from the couch. “Uhm… I'll go check on Audrey now.”

“Could you get me a glass of water first?” Rebecca snapped, glaring at her.

Upon hearing that, President Ethan's countenance changed. “You know your way to the kitchen, Rebecca. Besides, there are many servants in this mansion. I'm sure they'll be so willing to take your orders.”

“Oh, Ethan! It's already getting late, and they must have gone to bed. This is just a simple thing to do. I'm not ordering her around, all I wanted was a favor. Right, Valerie?” She faked a smile at her.

Blinking hard, Valerie exhaled deeply. “It's nothing, Sir. I can handle that.”

With that, she walked towards the kitchen, while Rebecca smirked and thought within herself. “She should always know her place. And this is my little way of reminding her of who she is.”

“What was that for, Rebecca?” President Ethan's harsh voice smacked her out of her thoughts.

With her eyebrows twitched as if she didn't know what he was talking about, she replied. “What are you talking about?”

“Must you order her around? I'm sure there is nothing wrong with your legs, you can always go to the kitchen and grab a glass of water, can't you?” Ethan half yelled.

She scoffed. “She willingly decided to help me get a glass of water, why are you still talking about that?”

“Listen, I know that you just wanted to order her around. She is not a current in this house anymore, she is the biological mother of my daughter. I hope you can respect that.” Ethan snapped at her.

Rebecca groaned angrily. “And I'm your f****** fiancée, Ethan. How do you think I'd feel with you siding with your baby mama?”

“Rebecca, I know that you really don't like Valerie, but I won't stand you bullying her. Do you understand me?” Ethan said with finality in the tone of his voice.

Gritting her teeth in annoyance, Rebecca tried to control herself. “She already decided to get it willingly, I don't see any reason why we should keep arguing.”

They were still talking when Valerie walked to them. She dropped the glass of water on the stool opposite Rebecca. “Here. I'll leave now.”

“I'll go back to my room. We'll talk tomorrow morning. I have work to do overnight.” Ethan said before walking away.

However, Rebecca smirked mischievously as she brought out of her bag, a bottle of powdered substance.

“By the time I'm done with what I have to do, Ethan will have no choice than to marry me immediately.”

Meanwhile, Valerie stormed into Audrey's room. Surprisingly, Audrey wasn't asleep yet. She was busy drawing on the bed.

“Mommy, why are you still awake? I thought you already slept off.” Audrey smiled calmly.

Valerie sat beside her, and patted her back. “I don't know why, but I don't feel asleep at all. I've been having migraines earlier.”

“Sorry, mommy. Why don't you take some sleeping pills to help you relax? You look tired.” Audrey suggested.

Upon hearing that, Valerie nodded her head. “That's a good idea. I'll add the sleeping pills to an orange juice.”

Simultaneously, Rebecca walked into the kitchen. She brought out of the refrigerator the can of orange juice. Taking out two glasses, she poured the orange juice into them. Cautiously, she looked around to make sure no one was watching before adding the substance into the two glasses.

She smirked. “That's how it should be.”

However, she was about to leave with the drink when her cell phone rang noisily. Dropping the glasses of drink on the kitchen slab, she rushed to the sitting room to get her phone.

Valerie, on the other hand, walked into the kitchen from the stairs. She saw the glasses of orange juice. “Who could have dropped this here tonight?”

Without hesitation, she brought out the same can of orange juice and two glasses. She poured into her glasses and added a sleeping pill into one of the glasses.

She walked to the sink and washed her hands. On her way out, she took two glasses of orange juice and left, but she mistakenly took the glasses that Rebecca had added the substance and left hers for Rebecca.

Valerie walked into Audrey's room with the drinks in her hand. She sipped from one of the glasses. “Baby, you can have this glass of juice.”

Audrey gasped. “Mommy, is my daddy working overtime tonight?”

Valerie shrugged. “I think so!”

“Oh, dear! Mommy, could you please give him this glass of juice? I mean, he always likes taking juice whenever he's working overtime.” Audrey pleaded.

“Audrey, I don't think I should disturb him at this time. I'm sure he's doing fine!” Valerie snapped.

Upon hearing that, Audrey feigned sadness. “Poor daddy! No one would get him juice. Just because I'm still a child, I would have helped him and…”

“Fine! I'll give him this glass of juice.” Valerie snorted as she walked out of the room.

“Thanks, mommy.” Audrey chuckled.

Meanwhile, Rebecca returned to the kitchen and took the drinks she saw on the slab without knowing that it's been swapped. She sipped one of the glasses, and it happened to be the one containing the sleeping pill.

Before she could get to the stairs, she felt dizzy all of a sudden, and slumped.

Valerie walked into President Ethan's room, and saw him busy with his laptop. “Here! I brought you a glass of orange juice. Actually, your daughter wanted me to give you.”

Ethan smiled and took the glass. Without hesitation, he drank from it.

With that, Valerie turned to leave, but she felt different. Her head was spinning and all of a sudden, she felt extremely sexually aroused.

She mumbled. “What's going on?”

Turning swiftly, she stared at Ethan and felt so wet down there.

Ethan, on the other hand, couldn't stop himself as well. He grabbed her by the waist, and before they knew what was happening, they were already sucking each other's tongue on the bed.
