Chapter 49: Chapter 49

“Oliviaaaa, let’s go and d-dance.” Leo yelled excitedly making Thomas give him a glare. But he did not notice. He was not in the position to notice anything as he had been drinking the whole night.

They were just served some pizza and after that, Leo started drinking like crazy. For such a skinny boy, he surely drank a lot.

And now, he was insisting Olivia to dance. The dance floor was packed already. People were crazily dancing. Thomas was not foreign to such environment but he did like how he was the oldest one there. Everybody else looked like teenagers while he seemed to be the only adult one though that was not true.

He had been hitting the gym since he was a teenager himself. He always looked older than his age. Now, it seemed to be the same case.

He shook his head at the teenage party and sipped a little on his drink. He only took a few sips because he knew he had to drive. Olivia had a couple of drinks as well. She was a little tipsy, but she was alright. He took a look at her who was sitting beside him. She was smiling at Leo who was insisting for her to dance.

She was behaving normally. She seemed okay after those drinks. He was worried about her as she gulped down those shots.

Leo pulled her hand to take her to the dance floor, and Thomas grabbed her wrist to stop her.

“Don’t go with him.” He said sternly. Olivia looked at him confusedly for a moment but shook her head freeing her hand from his grasp. He did not ignore the chuckle as she went with him.

‘Maybe, she was tipsy.’ He thought.

A funky and loud music was playing. Olivia seemed to be enjoying her time as she started to dance a little.

It was very different from what he saw at the club or what he saw at the kitchen—both the times she was dancing differently. At the club, she danced for the audience. At the kitchen, she was dancing thinking she was alone. Now, she was having fun while dancing despite the people around her.

She moved her head side to side and started moving her hands sensually as well. She had the biggest smile on her face as she moved her body with the music. He had never seen her look so carefree and sexy at the same time.

The dress she was wearing was going up with every move she made or when she threw her hands up. It was already short. She was indeed a little tipsy otherwise she would have noticed that or straightened her dress.

He had seen her do that multiple times when she was around him or when she was in public.

His blood boiled as he saw Leo touching her. He saw him extending his hands and putting them on her hips.

His chest was rising and falling with how heavily he was breathing. When he did not seem to be removing his hands, he stood up and went to them.

He pulled away his hands harshly from her hips and pushed him away with a little force. God knows how much he wanted to smack his face at that moment, but he knew Olivia would not appreciate that.

The things he did for her. Nobody could tame him when he was angry, but he was, for some reason, afraid of her reaction.

Leo stumbled but laughed like the creep that he was and left the living room going somewhere else. He did not care where he went. All he cared about was that he wanted him to be at least at a miles distance from Olivia.

He was a bit angry at her as well. Why didn’t she stop him when he was being a pervert?

He turned to the culprit to find her staring at him with a big grin.

“Are you jelly, jelly, huh?” She beamed at him cutely. He did a double take thinking he heard her wrong.

“What?” He asked perplexed. She was being weird.

“I know that you are jealous. Hehe.” She said and giggled at the end making him confused to no end. She stood on her tiptoes and linked her arms around his neck making his eyes f=go wide.

Everyone was busy doing what they were doing, but time had seemed to stop for him. She was looking so beautiful while staring up at him with the same gorgeous smile. He could not believe she had said something like that. She had never, never said something like that to him. In fact, she was always so serious around him.

And what she said struck a realization in him. Was she right? Was he really jealous?

What else would explain the unpleasant feelings he had whenever Leo was around her? When she smiled at Leo, he wanted to punch something. Seeing his hands on her body sent his mind into a frenzy. He wanted to do the worst to him, but he controlled himself.

He was wondering why Olivia did not say anything when he pushed him earlier. Her state told him that she was a little drunk. There was no other way she would tell him he was jealous if she was in a normal state. She avoided such conversations like plague.

And right at that moment, his mind went blank as he felt her hands touch and feel his hair. She had a little frown on her face as she did that.

“You hair is getting long. But I like it.” She giggled again and this time, she put her head on his chest.

He took a deep breath letting her do what she wanted. Everyone else seemed to be out of the whole scene—only those two were there. At least that was how he felt.

“Olivia, what are you doing?” He asked with shaky breath as he felt her hands roam around his back while she was practically hugging him tightly.

“I don’t know. Your body looks so tough and strong. I am having fun.” She said laughing a little. He could tell she was drunk. It was for sure now.

But he could not ignore the effect her words and actions were having on his senses. She was teasing him to the limit that he did not think he would be able to control himself for long.

But she was drunk. If she was not, he would have not thought twice before kissing her or making out with her right then and there. He was getting that desperate. She was making him like that with the way her hands were roaming around on his back.

Her soft body plastered against his hard one did not help either. Her breasts were smashed against his torso. She was squeezing him in that hug every now and then while her curious hands were busy discovering his hard back muscles. If it was some other time, she would not even think of doing it. But she was not in her sense at that moment.

“Stop.” He said with clenched teeth. He could not take it anymore. One more touch, and he would break off all the restraints. One more squeeze, and he would make love to her.

Her crazy gorgeous being was already making him feel like he was on the verge of doing something he should not. And now all those unaware actions she was doing was driving him crazy.

He felt her pull away and could also notice the frown on her face. She clicked her tongue against her mouth and rolled her eyes at him.

“P-party pooperrr.” She slurred on her words as she said it. She seemed mad at him for stopping her adventures. She then hiccupped in a series, “I am going to the r-restroom. God, I f-feel like I am going to—going to be s-sick.” She said with round wide eyes as she ran towards a room. She could not even run straight and stumbled several times.

He shook his head taking a deep breath. That was a close call.

He did not think he could have—or would have controlled himself if she had not stopped.

He went to the little bar that creep had arranged and go himself a glass of wine. He would have to call the driver if he got drunk. He had great alcohol tolerance though. Even after a bottle, he would feel like he was in his senses.

He chucked down the glass in one go. His throat felt so dry after the little game she had played with him. But he knew it was not a game. She was truly drunk to say and do all those things.

Despite that fact, he liked what she said. She had complimented him for the first time. She said his back was strong. She also seemed to enjoy herself while making it all a hell for him.

He smiled as he remembered the feeling of her soft body against him. She smelled like heaven. Her head was under his chin and he took a few sniffs on her hair that smelled amazing. She herself smelled wonderful—like strawberries, not too sweet and not too sour. It was just perfect.

He wished she said all of those things when she was not drunk.

But he knew it was just a wishful thinking. She never felt anything for him.

‘Do you feel anything for her?’ His subconscious asked him a question which he was too afraid to give the answers to.

Did he feel something for her? Why else would he feel jealous of her being frank with her friend? Why else would he want for the things she said to be real someday?

There was only one explanation for all of that. But, he did not want to accept it yet.

He sighed as he looked for her. She was not in sight.

It had been over ten minutes since she went to the restroom. He was worried that she was perhaps not well.

He went to the room to look for her. The moment he opened the door, he felt an anger he had not felt before. He felt like all the blood had rushed to his head and he could hear his harsh heartbeats in his ears.

His face flushed with unimaginable anger as he saw Leo lying on top of Olivia on the bed while she could be seen trying to push him away while sobbing.
