Chapter 8: Chapter 8
Chapter Eight: Aftermath
Kyle
I could see that Nyla wanted her time to shine by dominating me when we were having sex last night. It was weird actually because I never allowed any of the women I had had sex with dominate me in bed. It makes me feel vulnerable, so I was a bit skeptical. Eventually, I had given up and given her total control, and I was surprised she knew exactly what she wanted and what she was doing, and I was definitely not disappointed by her actions. Sitting up in bed, I could hear her snoring lightly. Looking at her, I could see that she had a small smile on her face and her hair was messy and all over. Moving some of her hair that had fallen on her face, I stared at her beauty that was so breathtaking.
Quietly easing out of bed, I walked to the bathroom where I took a quick shower. Redressing in the clothes that I had on the previous night before, I walked down the hall. Opening the front door, I went outside and opened my car door. Taking out the contract that I was I am going to give to Nyla, I walked back inside the house and went to her room where I slightly shook her so she could wake up.
Getting up, I saw her eyes were blazing with anger.
“What the fuck Kyle? I need to sleep what do you want?” She asked angrily.
Taking aback by her anger, I decided I should tread slowly as I didn't want her to get more upset and back out of the deal. I wouldn't know what to do if she did, so I calmly spoke. “Nyla here's the contract. Read it over and tell me what you want and do not want then get back to me, so we can discuss the dos and the don’ts.”
“Kyle, is this the reason why you woke me up, about a stupid ass contract? Are you serious right now? If you don't mind, I would like to get some sleep, now get out!” She angrily retorted.
Smiling at her, I just replied with a simple okay before I exited the room. There was no need to add more fuel to the fire.
“Thank you,” she shouted after me.
Walking to the kitchen, I opened her refrigerator and then the cupboard and saw that both were fully stocked.
Taking out the things I needed, I started to prepare breakfast for her. It was like Deja-vu all over again before her first time at my house, but now the roles are reversed and I was at her house this time making her breakfast. Picking up a bowl, I poured pancake batter in along with water. Mixing everything up, I suddenly stopped when something clicked inside my head.
What the hell am I doing? I asked myself, I haven't cooked for anyone but I and I especially don't let any of my one–night stands to stay at my house neither do I spend the night at theirs. I would normally kick them out and forget about them, but not Nyla. What was so special about her? She had me falling for her in a short period- two months, causing me to have feelings that I never once experienced with anyone else. From the first night I met her at the club- the first time I laid eyes on her, I knew she was special.

After I finished making breakfast, I washed my hands and turned around from the sink to see Nyla standing behind me smiling, which caused me to smile also.
“Who knew you could cook? I could smell the food from my bedroom. What did you cook, though?” She asked in one breath.
“First to say I am a great cook and I made pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausages,” I replied.
“I thought you had a maid for that?”
“No, I don't. I don't want anyone strange in my house.”
“But I was a stranger and you left me in your house.”
“Well, you were different.”
“How different?” She asked challenging me.
“You’re just different okay!” I said with finality.
“Are you trying to feed a pig?” She asked with a raised eyebrow, while I was preparing her a plate. I could see that she was trying to change the subject and I was glad that she did, I didn’t want her to know how I felt because I was afraid that she would reject me. This was too comical, a billionaire mogul who could have any girl he wanted was afraid of getting rejected.
“No, I just want you to have enough to eat, I had tired you out last night” I answered while smirking. Smiling, she took the plate I made for her and started digging in. Looking at her in disbelief, I finally said the words that were on the tip of my tongue. “Easy down tiger, the food is right in front of you, it's not going anywhere, so slow down and mind you choke on the food.” Looking up at me, she rolled her eyes before she continued scarfing down her food. Smiling, I drew out a chair and sat beside her eating and also watching her.
“I'm glad you're enjoying my cooking,” I said with laughter in my voice.
“I'm hungry, that's why. It isn't all that,” she said while smirking.
Putting my hand over my chest, I feigned hurt while pouting.
“I’m hurt by your words.”
“You'll get over it,” she replied while chuckling.
Still looking at her, I saw that she was now eating her food like she was running a marathon with it before she suddenly stopped. Pushing back her chair, she bolted down the hall.
Running after her, I called out her name, but I didn't get any answer. Going inside her bedroom, I could hear gagging coming from inside the bathroom. Entering without knocking, I saw she was on the floor on her knees throwing up everything she had just eaten in the toilet.
“Nyla, are you okay?” I asked, but the only response I got was more gagging.
Walking up to her, I held her hair back while I stood there and stared at her helplessly, watching and rubbing her back waiting for her to finish, before I asked her the question again.
“Nyla, are you okay?” I asked again after I saw that she had finished and had flushed the toilet. Getting up, she went to the bathroom sink to wash out her mouth.
Turning to me, she said “I’m okay. I was eating my food too fast which resulted in me bringing everything back up. I just need to get some rest.” Walking outside of the bathroom, she went inside of her room and gingerly climbed on her bed. Sighing, I followed suit while looking at her with concern plastered over my face. Sitting on the edge of the bed, I ran my hand through her hair to comfort her.
“Nyla?” I called out after a while, but I didn’t get any answer. I was only greeted by her light snores. Getting up, I went to pick up my phone to call my secretary to tell her I wasn't coming in today.
