When she saw that he still wasn't listening to her she followed his eyes and saw that he was looking at the two girls who were approaching them
They were dressed in the hotel's waitress clothes. Why was he even staring at them? She felt her blood boil in anger she knew he couldn't be staring at the two of them at once it must be one of them but she didn't know which one.
The girl's got to their table and Katherine observed them. She quickly dismissed the white girl with a quick glance the girl was too thin and have nothing that should make a man look at her twice she turned her attention to the other girl who is black and her eyes got clouded with hatred .
The black girl was the definition of a dark goddess of beauty she must definitely be the girl Cort was looking at she had to admit but the girls shape was what we call a perfect model shape.
Katherine has been in the modelling industry since she was a toddling baby and she first started modelling baby stuff with her mother who was also a model during her time so she knew what it was to have a model shape.
All her whole life have been working towards perfecting her body and here was an ordinary girl blessed with the perfect shape without even having to work for it. Katherine is the best model in the industry but she knew that if someone like this was to join the industry she will give her a run for her money..
" Don't worry she's just a little servant girl and you are a queen so she can't beat you"the Angel sitting on her shoulder whispered to her.
She smiled, the Angel was really correct there was no way this brown skin girl can measure up to her she's the queen and the girl is the maid.
But wait she hope Cort wasn't thinking about trying to make her a model because she won't sit back and watch it happen she was going to use everything in our power to make sure that doesn't happen.
"welcome to five star hotel sir and ma what will you like to order?" The white girl asked smiling and you could see excitement on her face well she was serving the city number one model so it was expected.
The hand the white girl use to stretch out a menu to Katherine was visibly trembling. Why the other black was wearing a professional smile but you could also see the excitement in her eyes.
Katherine ignored the menu that the white girl was giving to her and turned to look at the black girl with a malicious smile
"where is your own menu I'm sure she's not the only one serving us" Katherine asked
" Of course not here is the menu Ma" the black girl said stretching out a hand with the menu in it to Katherine who snatched it rudely
Her artificial nails scratch the soft flesh of the girl's hand tearing it in the process and drawing blood
Katherine smiled triumphantly when she saw the blood on the girl's hand and it brought joy to her heart. She was glad to see the smile.on the girls a face freeze and she looked into the girl's eyes as if daring her to complain

She dreamt about him through out the whole night.
When she woke up she woke up with a smile on her face and went about doing her morning chores and preparing for work happily
She has never felt this way before and has has only met him once, no her mother even noticed that she was in an extremely good mood and asked her about it but she said nothing
She just smiled at her mother and kept on preparing for work, when she got to work Alex was already there but was in a bad mood
The white girl must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed because her face was twisted in a frown and she was not her usually jovial self, she was too quiet
"Why are you smiling so happily?" Alex eyed her
"Ain't no bad thing to be happy right?" Chloe asked back
"Hiss" Alex walked away from her
Chloe rolled her eyes and continued to do what she was doing as if nothing happened
Though she was thinking about him she did not expect him to actually come. When the door open and he walked in she stopped to stare at him
She got a strange feeling when she was a woman walk in with him, her hand wrapped around his
She did not want to think that she was jealous, no she was not. The strange feeling immediately died down when recognized the face of the woman with him

She knew Katherine because when she was still In high school the rich folks wanted to be like her and we're ever ready to buy any clothe she modeled
Many people mentioned to her how she could be better than Katherine if only she would become a model so she went to make a research about her and since then she always followed everything Katherine do and with time she came to love the woman who many women wanted to be like
She was the one who went to meet the hotel's maitre'd Paul to allow her serve them and she was ecstatic when he agreed with her request
She was going to be meeting the women she has been admiring for so long and she could even get her autograph.
The media stopped at nothing to make the public know that Katherine was a very good woman who love helping other
One of the reasons why Chloe likes and admires her was because she was not proud, she was involved in so many charity works and have donated huge amount of money to help the orphans and old people in need
Chloe frowned when she was paired with Julianna to serve them but she did not allow that to dampen her mood instead she plastered on a professional smile and picked up her menu to go take their orders
Julianna was faster then her in handing her menue to Katherine but she did nothing and stars quiet
"where is your own menu I'm sure she's not the only one serving us" Katherine asked
Chloe was surprised when Katherine asked her this question and she marveled at how sweet Katherine's voice sounded so she wa's quick to reply
"Of course not here is the menu Ma" Chloe quickly stretched out her menu to Katherine as she tries hard to hide her hold back her excitement
She was so sure that Katherine lobes her fans but she also knew that no one would appreciate another person jumping on them neither will they appreciate someone asking for autograph when they were hungry
To say she was shocked when instead of collecting the menu like other customers Katherine snatched it was an understatement
She was even more shocked when Katherine's long and artificial scratched the back of her hand tearing her flesh and drawing blood from the injury
She looked up at Katherine waiting for her to apologise like the good person she as say that it was a mistake but she was surprised to see Katherine smiling widely at her as if proud of her achievement and as is daring her to complain put loud
Chloe stiffened and the smile that Chloe has been wearing since she woke up this morning froze on her face as she grimace in pain and she bit her bottom lip to hold herself back from crying out in pains
She has never met Katherine in her life before so why was it like she has offended the other woman? It was surprising but she said nothing and instead tried to plaster back a professional smile on her face, she jas completely forgotten about the man that walked in with Katherine
All she wanted was to serve them their food and go back to her work station, they have completely ruined her good mood
"What would you like to order Ma?" Chloe sighed in relief and nearly wept for joy when her voice came out steady and strong instead of shaky
Katherine skimped through the menu before raising her head up to ask Cort "what will you eat?"
" Carrot and coriander soup and roll" Cort answered absent mindedly, by now he was pressing his phone and reading a message that his PA Arnorld sent to him
" I will have the same" Katherine said before returning the menu back to Chloe
After collecting back her menu Chloe and Julianna walked back to the kitchen to get their orders
Katherine turn her attention back to Cort, she really wanted to know why he was staring at the black girl when they first walked into the hotel but she decided to do it without showing her curiosity
