Chapter 66: Chapter 66

Chapter 66: Anything for you,baby

Her expression slowly closed up, her radiant smile turning into a frown. "Why all of a sudden?" she asked as her mood deflated like a balloon.

"Why not now? Don't you think I have given you enough time to adjust? What is there to consider now that we are married?" Sean couldn't help but fire questions at her. He couldn't comprehend why she was giving the impression that he had forced her into the marriage.

Andrea let out a long sigh. "I'm aware. I just feel that I'm not ready to enter your world. For the first time in years, I'm anxious about what people will say about me. They might even call me an illegitimate child and a vixen who seduced you into marrying her for money," she said in a melancholic tone.

Sean cupped her cheeks, causing her to face him. "Who cares? I just want you to focus on us and leave the rest to me. I promise you that I will always love you," he assured her.

Andrea hugged him tightly. "Can you give me a little more time? That's all I want."

"Mhm. It's quite chilly outside. Let's go back inside," he said, stroking her hair.

Andrea nodded, but before she could move, Sean swept her off of her feet. Startled by the sudden action, she wrapped her arm around his neck quickly for fear of falling. "Sean, w..what are you doing?" she stuttered nervously.

"Relax. I know you're tired," he said as he carried her back to the room. He noticed the couch and sat down with Andrea still on his lap.

She tried to get off, but Sean tightened his grip, not giving her the chance to do so. "Where are you trying to run off to?" he asked with a small smirk on his lips.

"Sean, put me down. I'm not a baby," she said sheepishly while looking at him.

He gazed down at her with an affectionate look in his eyes. "Says who? You're my baby," he whispered, planting a tender kiss on the nape of her neck. Andrea blushed and buried her face in his chest. "I'm famished," she said playfully.

Hearing this, Sean furrowed his brows. "My baby's hungry. What do you feel like eating? I'll have the chef prepare dinner."

"Why don't we stick to our plan and go out for dinner as we had planned?"

"Do you want to? Aren't you exhausted?" Sean asked, raising his eyebrows in surprise.

"I'm not that tired. Besides, it's our special day; let's go out and celebrate," she replied enthusiastically.

"Anything for you, baby," he murmured, giving her a kiss on her forehead.

In the late hours of the day, Sonny pursed his lips in annoyance as he stood in front of Sean's table with his coat draped around his shoulder. "Why did you call me out to drink? Andrea dumped you. I'm not surprised; I thought she would have done that much earlier," he said.

Sean scoffed loudly. "That's not possible. How can my wife suddenly want to dump me?"

Sonny burst out laughing. "Your wife? Are you that desperate?" he said, pouring himself a glass of wine.

"Andrea and I got our marriage certificate today," he said nonchalantly, with a smug look on his face displaying how pleased he is with himself.

" Whoa! Are you kidding me?" Sonny widened his eyes in shock. Just then, Andrea made her way over to the table. "Hey, Sonny," she said with a grin. "You look happy today. What's the celebration about?"

"Didn't you tell him?" Andrea turned to look at Sean as she sat down beside him.

"I did; he refused to believe that at least he had finally heard it himself."

Sonny shook his head in disbelief. "This is great news. I'm so speechless. I never expected Sean to get married. I thought I would have gotten married before he would find someone who was willing to tolerate him," he smiled bitterly as he raised his glass to make a toast. "Anyways, I wish you a happy married life and more twins," he said.

Andrea's cheeks flushed in embarrassment after hearing what Sonny said. "What nonsense are you saying? Did we mention we are having twins?" she said while clicking glasses with him.

"That's right! Who said we are having twins when we can have quadruplets this time around?" Sean said casually, making Andrea cough awkwardly.

" What nonsense! Sonny, you don't have to feel bad and lonely; you should go fix things with Alicia, okay?" Andrea said, trying to quickly change the topic of discussion.

"Can we please not talk about her? There's just something that I'm quite amazed about. Mrs. Wilson accepted Andrea so easily. Wow! It sounds unbelievable," Sonny said.

Andrea stiffened a little at the topic of Sean's mother. From the look of things, it seemed like she wasn't an easy-going person and had more rights over Sean than his father. This had been worrying her ever since Sean put the ring on her finger. She didn't know how Mrs. Wilson would react after finding out about her new relationship with Sean.

Seeing Andrea in deep thought for the third time made him alarmed. He shot Sonny a deadly glare, signaling him to keep quiet. "Stop speaking as if my mother is a devil." He wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Didn't you say you were hungry? Here, what do you want to eat?" he said softly while glancing at the menu.

"It's quite late. Chicken noodle soup is fine," she said. Sean looked at her tenderly as he nodded, pulling her closer to his chest.

"Okay, if you two invited me here just so you could rub your PDA in my face, then I'd better prepare to take my leave." Sonny snorted loudly while pointing his index finger to the exit.

"I don't blame you; you don't know how it feels to be in love because you are always busy changing ladies, like changing your underwear," Sean said in a mocking tone.

Sonny made faces at him. "I'm just fooling around. I'm not ready to be in a relationship yet," he retorted.

"Enough, you two. Are we here to quarrel or celebrate?" Andrea said as she rolled her eyeballs.

…………

Andrea groaned in her sheets and slowly sat up. "Good morning," she said, stretching her arms and letting out a yawn.

"Morning, love," Sean replied. Andrea smiled sweetly as he used an endearment towards her. "I made you a cup of coffee. Drink it before it gets cold," Sean said while sorting some files on the couch.

Andrea couldn't stop smiling. "Why are you being extra sweet today, Mr. Wilson?"

"Can't I be sweet and caring to my beloved wife without having any intentions?" he replied with a question.

"Mhm, then I guess I love you even more, honey," she said as she put on her slippers while drinking coffee.

Sean chuckled softly at the cute expression on her face. "Are you sure you made this? It tastes really good," she said as she moaned while drinking it.

"Could you stop doing that? It makes me want to eat you up," Sean said with sincerity.

Andrea downed the whole thing with a bright shade of red on her cheeks, realising the sound she made. She got out of bed and physically made her way towards him. She took his hands off his tie and knotted it perfectly for him. "Have a nice day at work," she said as she pecked him on the cheek.

Sean smiled and placed a kiss on the tip of her nose. "Thank you, wifey," he said, suddenly pulling her in for a hug. She expected him to let go in the next minute, but instead, he hugged her even more tightly with no intention of letting her go.

Andrea pushed him off "Get going now!" she chuckled softly as she walked into the bathroom. She emerged shortly, dabbing her face with a clean towel, luckily for her, Sean had already left for work.

Her phone began to ring on the bed. She glanced at the caller ID with a tinge of surprise. "Jacob," she mumbled before picking up.

"Hello, Mr. Jones, How are you?"

"I'm fine. Andrea, I would like to speak to you. Are you free right now?" he asked.
