Chapter 41: Chapter 41
Chapter 41: Shouldn't you be happy?
Tessa quickly switched off the TV with the remote.
Elena got up and rushed up to her. "Andrea, are you okay?" she said, her gaze not leaving her bleeding hand.
Andrea forced a smile. "I'm fine. I mistakenly dropped the plate."
"Let me see your hand; you are bleeding a lot." Elena tried to grab hold of her hand, but Andrea stepped back immediately.
"Don't worry about me. I will go and dress my wound myself," she said, taking the stairs.
She arrived inside the room, and a loud sigh escaped her lips as she plopped herself down on the bed.
"How did this happen so fast?" she muttered under her breath as she struggled to dress up her wound.
After she was done cleaning her wound, she pressed her lips together and decided to go to bed instead.
…………
At Westwell Estate, the whole family was seated dejectedly in the living room; the place was so silent that even the sound of a pin dropping could be heard.
Lachlan cleared his throat slightly before he began, "As we all know the situation of the company, we are owing the workers their salaries for the past few months, and they are ready to take the issue to the higher authorities. So to avoid any further predicament, I decided to sell the house."
"You said what? No, dad, that's ridiculous. It hasn't gotten to that," Naomi said in a furious tone.
Lisa remained silent for a while as tears began to well up in her eyes.
" Lachlan, Naomi is right. This is just too much. I mean, we can sort it out rather than selling our house," Rosette said while maintaining a poker face.
"What are you guys talking about? I've already sold the house. We were given three days to move out. I only host this meeting to announce to you all to get packing."
Jace scoffed loudly and walked out of the living room.
"Just look at him; he thinks this is the right time to act all indifferent," Naomi said in anger.

Andrea came downstairs and found Sean in the dining room, having his breakfast quietly.
"Good morning, everyone," she said casually as she pulled a seat for herself.
"Oh, Andrea, you are finally up. I bet you slept pretty well. I tried to wake you up last night, but you were fast asleep." Tessa smiled at her.
"Yeah, I was very tired, so I slept off. Did something happen last night?" she asked curiously.
"It was just Pearl who was crying last night,"
"My poor baby. She must have been really hungry," Andrea said in a sad tone as she picked up her fork.
"What type of food do babies eat?" Sean suddenly asked, rendering everyone completely speechless.
Andrea's cheeks began to heat up, and she lowered her head to her food.
"Why is everyone looking at me like that?" Sean asked confusedly.
"Well, babies at the age of the twins mostly feed on breastmilk." Jasmine replied nonchalantly.
Sean choked on his food as he realized he shouldn't have asked this question. No wonder they were all staring at him when he asked.
Andrea quickly poured him a glass of water. He hastily gulped it down.
’’ Are you okay now? Or do you want to know more?" Andrea smirked slightly as Sean shook his head.
After breakfast, Andrea showed him how to cuddle the baby to sleep.
They walked out of the room together, and Sean looked at her before asking, "Why are you looking so down?"
"No, I'm not. I'm totally fine," she said with a smile as she played with her fingers nervously.
Sean made her look at him. "You don't look good when you try to pretend. Tell me what is wrong."
Andrea sighs loudly. "I'm sure you heard what happened to Graham's cooperation." I just feel very sad about it," she said, biting her lip.
"Shouldn't you be happy? Actually, I heard they didn't treat you well when you were living at their place."
"I know that's what everyone thinks—that I should be happy. Sincerely, I don't really care, but you see, there's this one person who bothers me. He was the one who truly cared and defended me always while I was living with the Grahams."
Sean frowned. "Did you say he? Who is that?" he asked in an angry tone.
Andrea glanced at him strangely. "Are you okay? Why did you get suddenly angry?" She pouted like a kid deprived of candy.
Sean paused for a while and tried as much as possible to maintain a poker face. "Do I look angry? Of course I'm not. You are just imagining things. Tell me who it is."
"I was referring to my younger brother Jace," she said as they stood outside Sean's apartment.
Sean noticed that her petite body was trembling slightly. He took off his jacket and tried to drape it over her shoulder, but she refused with a polite smile.
"It's okay. I was about to head back into the house. Thanks for stopping by." She waved at him before walking away.
Sean's lips curled up into a smile before he finally made his way into his apartment.
Wallner's Residence
"Carmen, would you stop crying?" Mrs. Wallner spoke furiously.
"Just go away, mom!" she screamed in tears as she palmed her face.
"Sean is currently in Australia," she heard her mother say, and she quickly wiped her face and sat up.
"How sure are you, mom?"
"Oh, please, I had to send someone to keep an eye on him. I won't let him bail on you, no matter what. You need to see something, but I want you to stay calm."
"What are you talking about, Mom?" Carmen asked frantically.
Mrs. Wallner brought out an envelope from the drawer and handed it to Carmen. She gestured for her to open it up.
Carmen opened up, and her eyes almost popped out of their sockets. "Who is this bitch?"
Mrs. Wallner sighs silently. "I was told Sean is currently leaving for New South Wales at a condonium. I also found out he has been frequently going to the apartment, contrary to his statement, This is the lady he has been seeing."
Carmen gritted her teeth in anger. "I can't even see her face clearly. I need a clear picture of her. I want to see what Sean sees in her that I don't seem to have."
" Relax. I already told my spy to find out more about her and get me a clearer picture of her."
Carmen smirked devilishly.
