“ Wow! That’s wonderful, I don’t want anything that would destroy my career okay?” she said to him. “ Yes ma’am you can count on me” she ended the call and heaved a sigh of relief. “ I can now sleep peacefully, I just have to stay out of Mandy’s life or else she would burst me” “ should I leave the city? Maybe I should” she dialed her managers number and in no time, he was in her room.
“ You called” he said “ Yes, I want you to book a flight for us” she said and he raised a brow “ to where again? we just returned” he reminded her. “ I know, I just want to go on vacation again and this time, it must be long” she said and added before he could utter a word. “ We will be leaving tomorrow, no one must know where we are going” she warned him and dismissed him. She lay down on the bed immediately he was out of the room. “ What have I gotten myself into?” she sighed.
“ The best thing is to leave the city, I know he might try to find me whenever the truth unfold but he will never see me again” she smiled in a mischievous way

Next morning Alfred was up as early as 7:00 am, he did his exercise, took his bath and left the room after he was dressed up in a deep blue suite. It was Monday so he had meetings with the shareholders of the company but as soon As he sat on the chair in the dining table to eat his breakfast of fried eggs and bread, a call came in his phone.
“ Who could it be?” he looked the caller and sighed. “ Is there any problem?” he asked his secretary that called him. “ I called to inform you the meetings has been adjourned to noon” she said over the phone. “ Why?” Alfred asked because he couldn’t remember when he told the secretary to adjourn the meeting. “ You have a meeting with the CEO of WALLY’S and he’s already on the way , Boss” she explained.
“ Alright then, give a call to the shareholders and explained to them, I’ll be in the office by 9” he said and ended the call. “ This is a great news” he started eating happily and in hurry. Within some minutes, he was done eating and called in his Assistant to get the car ready.
“ Where are we going?” the assistant asked as he was driving. Alfred had asked him to take another route which wasn’t the way to the office or Vanessa’s home. “ To see Kiara, there’s something I want to talk about with her” he said operating his phone. At the mention of kiara, he started sweating as fear entered him. “ Wh..what do you want to talk to her about?” he asked and Alfred raised up His head “ is there a problem?” he asked and the assistant nodded hIs head.
“ No boss, I just want to know” he said. Alfred chuckled , he was surprised that his assistant has been talking to him lately the way he want. Maybe it was because he had stopped being the bossy type everyone knew him to be after he met Vanessa and Mara. “ I’m so soft” he said under his breath and continued doing what he was doing on the phone.
“ What should I do now, should I stage an accident?” the assistant thought as he was thinking of a way to stop his boss from going to Kiara’s place. “ No it’s a bad idea. Then what should I do? I can’t let him go there , I already promised Kiara that I would take care of everything” he stole a glance at him and their eyes met.
“ Why are you looking at me?” Alfred asked and he quickly looked away. “ Nothing, Boss” he said and Alfred chuckled. After some minutes drive, they arrived at kiara’s home. Alfred went out of the car hurriedly while the assistant waited for him outside. He was so afraid to go inside the house As he didn’t know what to tell Kiara if she sees him with his boss.
“ I hope a miracle could just happen now” the assistant prayed while leaning on the car. “ Kiara won’t be the only one in trouble if the boss found out the truth. I and Mary would be relieved of our works and what could be worse than going to jail he tapped his forehead frustratingly.
Alfred entered the house, he saw the maid coming down the stairs with a traveling bag. The maid quickly dropped the bag on the stairs and hurriedly came down the stairs.
“ Good morning, sir” she greeted and Alfred nodded his head. “ Where’s Kiara?” he asked her looking at the bag. “ She.. she” the maid stammered and Alfred turned to her. “ She what?” he asked and sat down on a sofa. “ Go tell her to meet me here right now” he said with his legs crossed. “ She must tell me the truth by herself today” he said but the maid didn’t move. “ Are you deaf?” Alfred asked her and she nodded her head.
“ No Boss, I’m sorry but ma’am Kiara just left” she said. Alfred raised a brow, he didn’t know what she meant by Kiara just left. “ What do you mean?” he asked her. “ She left the city early in the morning” she said and Alfred sprang up. “ Where did she said she was going? I know she will still be in the Airport now. Tell me the Airport she went to” Alfred said hurriedly but the maid didn’t know either. “ I’m sorry sir but she didn’t tell us where she was going, only her manager knows” she said.
“ Not good!” Alfred gnashed his teeth. “ okay then” he left the house looking so disappointed “ She ran away right? I’ll definitely find her if this turns out to be true” he said going to the car.
