“ The way you protected Mara right? You family are After Vanessa and Mara because of you, please just leave them alone” he pleaded.
“ They’ve been staying here with you for days now I know but you kept lying to me that you don’t know where Vanessa is. Why would you lie to me?” Alfred asked but Vanessa interrupted him before Derek could answer. “ He did that to protect me, to protect Mara. You don’t even mind if anything happens to me or Mara. Please just go, I don’t want any of them to find out you came here” Vanessa Held Mara’s hand and Entered inside the room. “ Vanessa!” Alfred called after her but she locked the door. “ Vanessa won’t take down her words” Derek said and he turned to her.
“ Then make her, I love Vanessa” Alfred said worriedly. “ Vanessa is right, you shouldn’t come looking for her again. Your family is after her” Derek sat down on a couch and Alfred sat on another one facing him. “ My Family, who among them? Is it Mandy? She’s the only one that I know would do that” Alfred said and Derek nodded his head. “ What if I say it’s not Mandy?” He asked. “ Then who is it? She’s the only one among the family that would do this” He repeated. “ It’s Not Mandy, it’s your Uncle. I mean Mandy’s Daddy and your grandma” He said and Alfred’s eyes opened so wide. He was confused, surprised and shocked when Derek mentioned his grandma.
“ Grandma? How did Grandma know she lives here?” He asked Derek. “ I don’t know but she sent your uncle here with a cheque for Vanessa. She want Vanessa to stay away from you or she will do something worse to them” he concluded. “ Grandma did that? And Vanessa took the Cheque? She shouldn’t have take it from him, I can give her whatever she want” He said hopelessly. “ Vanessa will never take the cheque even if I want her to. She’s a lady with pride, Your Uncle kept coming back here with another cheque and I’m sure he would come back again” He said nodding his head.
“ Oh My God, what’s all this?” Alfred sighed. “ You Should try speak with your grandma. But why is she controlling your life? Aren’t you old enough to decide what to do with your life? Come on, you aren’t even the last Born of the family” Derek shook his head Disappointedly. “ I don’t know why grandma is doing this but I’ll speak to her like you said. Please Derek, help me plead with Vanessa not to leave me, I love her so much” He said and Derek sighed. “ Do you know who kidnaped Mara?” Derek asked him and he nodded his head. “ It’s Mandy, I’ll just let this passed for once but if she Repeat this again, I won’t take it easy with her” Alfred promised.
“ Hey, why do you think it’s Mandy? She isn’t even as evil as you think” He said and Alfred Chuckled. “ That’s because you don’t know Mandy” He said. “ No, you are the one that doesn’t know Mandy” Derek said back. “ She’s My sister, I know her better” Alfred argued. “ She’s not my sister but I know her better” Derek said and Alfred raised a brow. “ Why are you defending her?” He asked Derek who was looking at him “ Nothing, so let’s not change the topic. Mandy Isn’t the one that Kidnaped Mara, it was your ex girlfriend” Derek sad and he chuckled. “ Kiara? She is not even in the city again” he said trying to wave it off. “ Why do you think Kiara can’t do this? You guys should just believe Mandy for once” Derek Raised his voice.
“ Mandy again? Was she the on that told you Kiara kidnaped Mara?” He asked and Chuckled. “ Do not believe Mandy, she is lying to you” Alfred said and Derek shook his head. “ Poor girl, no one believes her but I’m glad I and Mara did” Derek smiled. “ Then that Means Vanessa also doesn’t believe her. Mandy is not a Good girl, she would make you believe something which isn’t true. Anyways, that’s none of my business. Just help Me please” Alfred pleaded. Alfred stood up, “ I should be on my way now, I’m so glad Vanessa and Mara are in Good hands.” He moved closer to Derek. “ I’ll give you any amount of money you want if you keep them here” He promised Derek. “ You can’t take you words back” Derek said and Alfred nodded his head.
As he was about to leave the house, a knock came on the door and Derek went and opened it. Alfred was surprised to see Mandy there and so was Mandy.
“ What are you doing here?” He asked Mandy who was holding a shopping bag on her leg hand and a mini brown bag on her right. “ I said What are you doing here?” He Repeated. “ I.. I” She stammered. “ Aunt Mandy!” Mara ran out of the room and jumped on Mandy. “ Hi baby” Mandy hugged her tightly. “ What’s happening here?” Alfred asked Derek who was smiling. “ I told you” He said. “ Aunt Mandy , you are here” Mara said excitedly. “ Since when have you been coming here?” Alfred asked her and she rolled her eyes. “ Since I left your house” She snapped at him.
“ I heard you’ve been feeding them with lies. It won’t change anything, Mandy. Just don’t try to do anything stupid again or else…” She interrupted him. “ Or else what? I know you don’t believe me and I’m not forcing you. Mara believed me and Derek did so, just go” She waved her hand. “ Aunt Mandy isn’t the one that Kidnaped me, I trust her” Mara said and Alfred Chuckled. “ Here baby I got you some Chocolates and candies” Mandy said wavering the bag on Mara’s face. “ Wow! You are the best Aunt Mandy” She said happily.
