“ Where have you been?” Mary who was standing on the corridor asked immediately he came out from the Car. “ The Boss sent me” He lied. Mary Scoffed, She looked at him from the head to toe and Chuckled. “ The Boss sent you?” She asked with her arms folded. “ Yes” He lied again. “ Okay, The Boss Have been looking for you for hours now. How would you explain that?” She asked him. “ Oh My God, he asked of me? I better hurry to him now” She grabbed his wrist as he walked past her. “ Are you cheating on me?” She asked him and he Chuckled softly. “ Cheating on you, with who? Of course not. You are the only girl that I love” He fling his hand from hers and hurried inside the house.
Alfred was coming down the stairs when the Assistant Entered the sitting room. He hurried to Alfred and bowed his head a little with his hands in front of him.
“ Where did you go?” Alfred asked sitting down on the sofa. “ I.. I” He interrupted him. “ Do you hear anything from Vanessa? Do you know where I can find her?” He asked Worriedly. “ I don’t know Sir, I tried locating her in the Estate but she isn’t there. That’s where I’m coming from right now” He lied to Alfred. “ Oh God” Alfred Exclaimed. He closed his eyes and shook his head. “ This is all my fault” he looked at the Assistant again. “Thank you so much for your care, please keep an eye on that house. I don’t trust Derek, I have a feeling he’s lying to me” Alfred said. “ Alright Boss, I’ll do as you said”
Mandy Returned back to the house, She Smiled when she saw Alfred in the sitting room. She went to him and sat closer to him.
“ Hi Alfred” She said smiling but he ignored her. “ Alfred, I know you are angry with me but I’m so Sorry” She apologized again but Alfred ignored her. “ Please talk to me” She pleaded Worriedly. Alfred looked at her, “ Do you want me to forgive you?” He asked and she nodded her head. “ Yes please, Just tell me what you want and I’ll d it for you” Alfred Smiled, he looked at the Assistant and then at Mandy. “ Bring Her Back then I’ll forgive you” He said and she raised a brow. “ Who?” She asked him.
“ Mara and Vanessa” Alfred said and Mandy Chuckled. “ I’ve already told you I don’t know anything about Mara and Vanessa too” She held his hand. “ I swear Alfred, Mara isn’t with me” She said and he tried to stand up but she pinned him down. “ Listen to me carefully, I don’t know where she is but I’m ae whoever took her have returned her back to Vanessa” Mandy said and Alfred looked at her. “ What do you mean?” He asked confusingly. “ I mean the person that took Mara did that so that Vanessa would leave the house. And now that Vanessa has left the house, Mara has been returned back to her” Mandy said and he chuckled.
“ That’s a sort of thing you can do” He said and she sighed. “ I know , Bro. But I’m not the only one that want you and besides, I’m not a monster to kidnap a child for my selfish interest. I know I love you so much and can do anything just to get you but I love kids Andi won’t d that to Mara because she’s your child” She said. Alfred agreed with that, he can testify to Mandy liking Kids. “ So who do you think can do that apart from you?” He asked her and she smiled. “ I’ll tell you but promise you’ll let me sleep in your room” She said smiling. “ I promise” Alfred said and Mandy touched his face. “ You are so handsome”
“ Speak and stop doing that before I change my mind” He said and she cleared her throat. “ You don’t have to be so mean about that” She Looked at the Assistant who’s eyes were fixed on her and she Chuckled. “ What?” She asked him and he looked away. “ Go away” She said and The Assistant looked at Alfred. “ Just say what you want to say” He said to her “ I don’t want to talk in front of him, tell him to go” She said and Alfred shook his head. “ You are not ready to go, don’t try coming to my place if you won’t say anything to me” He tried to stand up again and she Hurriedly held his hand.
“ Okay fine, I’ll speak. It’s just that I don’t trust your Assistant” She said and looked at the Assistant. “ If you say anything about this to anyone, I’ll fire you” She threatened. “ The person that can do this is Your Ex girlfriend, Kiara” She looked at the Assistant who have started Sweating and she Chuckled. “ Why are you sweating?” She asked him. “ Leave him out of this and speak to me. Why did you said it’s Kiara?” He asked. “ Because Kiara threatened Vanessa the first day she saw her here and she had a fight with Mara too, think about that” She said.
“ But who told you about that? You weren’t even there” He asked and Mandy smiled. “ Even the Walls have ears” She said smiling. “ But where can I find Kiara? I heard she’s not in the State again” He said thinking. “ Mara isn’t with Kiara now, She’s already with Vanessa. The person you should start looking for is Vanessa and not Kiara” Mandy advised. “ You are right Mandy, You’ve been of help” He stood up from the sofa and turned to His Assistant. “ Get ready, we’ll go visit Derek Tomorrow” He went up the stairs with Mandy following behind him. He entered the room and quickly locked the Door before Mandy Could get in.
