“ Alfred” She called and he opened his eyes. “ What do you want?” He asked her. “ I.. I’m Sorry” She apologized. Alfred closed his eyes again “ Just leave, I don’t want any disturbance” He said but Mandy wouldn’t leave. “ Are you crying?” she asked him when he Sniffed. “ Alfred, you are crying. Is it because you missed Vanessa or Because you can’t find Mara?” She asked him. He Cleaned his face and sat upright. “ Mandy, please Release Mara” He pleaded. “ I swear Mara isn’t with me, I don’t know who took her” Mandy said and Alfred Sighed. “ Just leave my room” He lay down again and closed his eyes.
“ I’m Sorry Alfred, I didn’t mean to put you through this. I told Grandma because you and Vanessa wouldn’t stop Accusing me” She Said sadly. “ Just go if you don’t have anything else to say” Mandy stood up from the bed and left the room looking so sad. She blamed herself for what Alfred was going through and wished she could do something to make him Happy.

They were in the kitchen when the Assistant's phone started ringing, he excused himself and left the kitchen. He went to the Garden where no one could hear him speaking on the phone and he answered the call.
“ Good day ma’am” He said as soon as he put the phone to his ear. “ She’s been sent back to her mum yesterday” The person that called said on the phone and the Assistant’s face brightened up. “ Really? That’s Good. But what if the Boss found out and Bring them back to the house again?” He asked Worriedly. “ Don’t worry about that, Vanessa and Mara will never return back to his house even though he pleaded with them. Thank you for your help, I’ll send the remaining money to you later” The person said and he smiled. “ Okay, you’re welcome” He ended the call and jumped in excitement.
“ Yes!” He looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping on him and so, he went back inside. “ Mary, can you spare some minutes?” He asked and she rolled her eyes. “ What? Say it here” She said and he grabbed her wrist. “ It’s important” He dragged her out of the kitchen to the garden. “ I wonder what these two are up to” Bella shook her head.
“ What is it?” Mary fling her hand from his grip. “ Baby calm down, tell me whatever you want and I’ll take you shopping” He said Happily. “ Stop with your jokes, I have works to do Inside” She turned to leave but he blocked her way. “ Look” He showed her the alert that just entered his phone. “ What!!” She exclaimed and he covered her mouth. “ Keep it down, what if someone heard you” He looked around again and uncovered her mouth. “ Where did you got the money?” She asked him confusingly.
“ The Job we did” He said and she became sad. “ I’m regretting it, I wish I could turn back the time. I wouldn’t have done that” Mary regretted. “ Hey Relax baby, you did what you ought to do and this is the result” He showed her the money again. “ But what about Mara, I can’t even sleep in the night. I keep seeing her face” Mary said worriedly. “ Forget about that, Mara has been taken back to Her Mum” He said and Mary looked around. “ Where’s Her mum?” She asked. “ She’s in Derek’s house but don’t tell anyone about it” He said and Mary’s face brightened up. “ It’s a Good thing , I’m so Happy right now” She heaved a sigh of relief. “ So, This is What was given to us. Do not tell anyone about what happened. You know what the Boss would do to us when he found out we are behind this” He warned and she nodded her head.
“ Now go back inside before Bella start suspecting something” She went back inside the kitchen looking so happy. “ Why, what did he tell you that you look so happy?” She asked Mary who was beaming with smile. “ I asked him to help find my brother who left home for years now and he found him” She lied. “ How?” Bella asked because as far as she knew, The Assistant wasn’t a Detective. “ He have a friend who works in the CBI and he helped find my brother” she lied again. “ The CBI? I thought they only investigate on things related to death” She raised a brow. “ I.. I don’t know how he did it but they found him” She said regretting lying to Bella.
Bella was so smart and would find out the truth soon enough because Mary didn’t even know how to lie. Bella watched Mary as she washed the plate, Different thoughts ran through her mind. She’s been suspecting Mona and now Mary was acting weird.
“ Do you know what?” Mary said to Bella when she found out Bella has been staring at her. “ No, till you said that” She said. “ I saw Mona entering Mara’s room when I was coming back earlier” She said and Bella’s eyes widened. “ Really? But why didn’t you follow her to see what she went to do Inside?” Bella asked and Mary sighed. “ I hide behind the sofa watching her but she went to Mandy’s room immediately she came out from that room. She was holding something in between her chest. Do you know what that might be?” Mary asked Bella.
“ How would I know when you also don’t know. But what could that be? That girl is Seriously getting on my nerves” Bella bit her lower lip and Sighed deeply. “ Whatever it is they are hiding, we’ll Surely find out” She nodded her head. “ I wonder what the Assistant is doing outside” Bella said and Mary smiled. She was glad that she changed the Topic and was surprised to have fooled Bella of all people.
