“ you have a lot of works ahead of you” She turned to leave and she saw Alfred watching her from the veranda upstairs. He smiled at her and she Scoffed “ He’s been standing there without saying a word. I wonder what kind of a Boss he is that he won’t even control his house” Vanessa shook her head and went back to the kitchen. She entered the kitchen and stood beside Bella who was cutting the Carrots, Vanessa cleared her throat and Bella looked at her.
“ Thank you ma’am” She said and Vanessa smiled. “ It’s okay Bella, I’m sorry that’s the only thing I can do” She apologized. “ You did a lot for me, Thank you so much” She thanked Vanessa. “ Don’t worry okay, you won’t lose your job” She looked at Mary. “ None of you will lose your jobs” they nodded their head. “ But ma’am Vanessa, please be careful with Mandy, she’s a Dangerous girl” Mary said and Vanessa smiled. “ Just forget about her, She’s not up to my match” she said and they all laughed.
An hour and some minutes later, the food was ready. Vanessa went up stairs to call Alfred while The girls helped arranged the foods on the dining table. She hummed so happily as she approached His Room, she heard voices inside and paused.
“ Isn’t that Mandy’s voice, what is she doing in his room?” Vanessa wondered. “ Maybe she’s reporting me, of well there’s nothing they both can do to me” She opened the door and Mandy Locked her lips with Alfred. Alfred was shocked, Vanessa froze. Vanessa Chuckled, she closed the door behind her and moved closer to them. “ You can Release him now, I saw everything” She said and Alfred pushed Mandy off of him. “ What do you think you are doing?” He queried her. “ Kissing of course” Mandy said. Vanessa shook her head Disappointedly. “ You can drop the fake act now Mandy, even the guy you kissed isn’t interested in your kissing. You have no shame nor class” Vanessa shook her head.
“ Hey, watch what you said. Who told you I was acting? He was the one that drew me closer and kissed me” She lied. “ Stop lying, I saw everything. Do you think I’ll be jealous? No I’m not” Vanessa said smiling. “ Do I look like I care if you are jealous or not?” Mandy turned to Alfred. “ Alfred, please tell her to leave this house. The sight of her makes me want to throw up” Mandy said and Vanessa Chuckled. “ The sight of you always wants to make me throw up too, you are so annoying and besides, how old are you?” Vanessa asked. “ I’m 23, you fool” Mandy snapped. “ oh no wonder, you are still a kid. I’m older than you so, You Should respect me from today” Vanessa turned to Alfred. “ Your food is ready” She grabbed his hand wand left the room with him.
Mandy was so pissed off, she wished there was something she could do to Vanessa at that moment but everything she thought about was so horrible. She stamped her feet on the floor and sat down on the bed devising a plan on how to deal with Vanessa. Vanessa Released Alfred’s hand when they were out of the room.
“ Why?” He asked looking at her and she Chuckled. “ Do you think I was serious in there? Let’s go” She said and he followed her to the dining table. “ You are so tough” Alfred said Sitting down on a chair. “ I know, I just have to show her who I am or else she’ll continue doing that and I don’t like it” She said serving him. “ You don’t like what?” He asked smiling. Vanessa Chuckled and continued doing what she was doing. “ Your sister is a trouble Maker” Vanessa sighed. “ Are you sure she isn’t possessed?” Vanessa asked and he nearly chocked on the food. “ She’s isn’t, that’s how Mandy is.” Alfred said and she Scoffed. “ I know you will defend her because she’s your sister. I’m off to my room, Call the maids when you re done eating” She said standing up.
“ What are you going to do?” He asked her. “ I’m going to call Derek, it’s been long we speak on the phone and I missed him a lot” she walked away after saying that. Alfred dropped the fork in his hand, he lost his appetite instantly, he watched her as she went up the stairs and he became so jealous. “ What does she mean?” He stood up leaving the foods and followed her upstairs. Vanessa Entered the room, she closed the door behind her and sighed.
“ Today is so stressful, where’s my phone?” she started looking for her phone and saw it on the floor. “ This is the kind of thing Mara could do” She picked it up from the floor and dialed Derek’s number. As if he was waiting for her call, he answered immediately. “ Hi Derek” She said lying down on the bed. “ Hi Vanessa, I missed you so much” He said and she sighed. “ I missed you the most, how have you been? You didn’t even call me” She said and he giggled. “ I’m sorry, I’ve ben busy with my babe” They both laughed. “ How’s your new home, hope you aren’t encountering any problem?” He asked and she sighed.
“ Derek, I’m always in problems ever since I moved in to this house. Do you remember that man that refused to pay for my cakes?” She asked and he nodded his head like she was seeing him. “ Yes, the pot bellied man” He said. “ Yes him, Can you believe he’s Alfred’s Uncle?” She Asked and Derek’s jaw Dropped. “ You don’t mean it, that cheater” He said. “ Yes, I didn’t know he is Alfred’s uncle and I insulted him when he came to the house. Oh Derek, what should I do?” She asked him worriedly.
