“ What!!!!!” The Uncles Exclaimed. “ Is Alfred out of his mind? How can he Marry a girl as rude as her?” The Uncle Laughed, he brought out his phone from his pocket and dialed Alfred’s number. “ Come Home Now!” He yelled on the phone and cut it. “ Who did you called?” Vanessa asked him. “ You’ll soon Know. Just go in and start packing your trash, You are leaving this house Today” He sat down on the sofa Angrily while Vanessa folded her arms. “ Do you think you can send me out of this house? I’m going nowhere” She said to him and also sat on a sofa, she crossed her legs waiting for whoever he called to come in..
“ What is she doing here?” The Uncle pointed to Vanessa immediately Alfred Entered. “ Who, Vanessa?” Alfred asked “ So her name’s Vanessa, yes I’m talking about her” He said. “ She’s….” Alfred looked at Vanessa and she looked away. “ She’s the girl I was telling you about” He said. The Uncles exchanged glances , Vanessa was also surprised that Alfred had already told those men about her. “ Are you insane! You want to marry this arrogant girl?” He Shouted at Alfred. “ Hey, do not call me arrogant. I can’t stand your insult anymore!” Vanessa yelled back.
Alfred was confused about the whole thing, he wondered where Vanessa and his uncle knew each other from and what misunderstanding they had before.
“ Uncle I….” Vanessa sprang up “ Uncle? He’s your Uncle?” She asked with her eyes wide opened. “ Yes” Alfred nodded his head hopelessly. “ What!” She Exclaimed. She looked at Bella and Bella nodded her head. “ Why didn’t you tell me” She whispered to Bella who in turn, whispered back. “ But I tried to” Bella whispered. Vanessa looked at Alfred, She grabbed Mara’s hand and left the sitting room in hurry.
“ So this is the girl you want to marry? I’ll never Approve of this” Uncle said and they left the house in Anger. Alfred was Speechless, he followed Vanessa out of the sitting room and saw her pacing around in the garden. “ Where did you know him?” He asked and Vanessa turned around. “ Why do you care?” she asked with a smirk on her face. “ Please tell me” he pleaded. “ Your uncle is a scammer” Vanessa said and Alfred Chuckled. “ My Uncle, a Scammer? You must be mistaken. Maybe it was someone that looked like him” He defended his uncle.
“ Do I look like someone who would lie?” Vanessa asked looking straight in his eyes. “ I didn’t say that but, it was so rude of you to talk to him that way. He’s older than you” Alfred said as calm as he could. “ Really? And that’s because you have no idea what he did to me a year ago” She said in Anger. “ What did he do to you? You should have just ignore him. Don’t you know that you’ve Spoiled everything for me, for us? Uncle will never approve of our marriage again” Alfred said worriedly. “ And Did I care? I don’t give a damn. And besides, I didn’t even agree to marry you in the first place” She Said in Anger.
“ What do you mean by that?” He asked and she Smiled. “ I said I’m not interested in you, allow me to go and live my life please. I’ve been going through a lot Since your girlfriend visited yesterday and now, your Uncle!” Vanessa Fumed. “ She’s Not my girlfriend!” He yelled at her. “ I don care!” She Said and he grabbed her hand. “ Look here Vanessa, you will marry me either you like it or not” He said in her Face. “ I won’t marry you!” She Shouted at him. “ Release my hand” She tried to free her hand but he held on to her tightly.
“ I won’t let you go, you belongs to me” Alfred said. “ You are so selfish, you don’t even care about my happiness, you don’t care about Mara’s happiness. Please let me go” Vanessa said in tears, he was taken aback. He had no idea Vanessa was pained by What Kiara and his uncle did to her. “ let go of my hand” She bit his hand and he Released her. Vanessa turned around but didn’t see Mara again, she didn’t know Mara Walked away when they started fighting. “ Stay away from us” She said on his face before leaving.
“ Oh my God, what should I do now” Alfred closed his eyes tightly and exhaled. He saw Mara heading towards the gate and he started running to her. “ Stop her!” He shouted to the Security man and he tried to catch Mara but she was too agile. “ I said you should stop her!” Alfred shouted again. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him and he grabbed her. “ let me Go!” Mara cried. “ Let me go” She beat him on the back. “ I’m sorry Baby” He Held her tightly and Carried her back to the garden.
“ We don’t want to live here again” Mara cried on his leg. “ Why?” He asked hopelessly. “ Because Mummy isn’t happy. It’s My fault that I Called you Daddy from the first place, I should have listen to mummy when she said you aren’t my Daddy” Mara cried. “ I’m Your Daddy, I’m your real Daddy” He sighed and rested her head to his chest. “ I’m sorry for all this, It’s all My fault” Alfred said just to calm Mara. “ We want to go” Mara said again. “ No baby, Don’t leave Daddy please” He pleaded.
“ If you want us to stay here, tell that lady not to come to our house again. Tell your Uncle not to shout at Mummy again” She said and he nodded his head. “ Do you know what happened between them?” Alfred asked Mara and she nodded her head.
