I’ll never see him again for the rest of my life, Grandma Warned us not to go anywhere closer to that prison” She cried. Alfred hugged her and patted her back softly. “ Mandy, look around you. Your love ones are here with you” He said and she lifted up her head. “ But they all left, they would have stayed when I wanted them to if only Dad was here” She cried. “ No not them, I mean us. You have grandma, you have me, you have Jonah and there’s Also Vanessa and Mara”
“ Did Grandma approved of Vanessa and Mara?” She asked and Alfred smiled. “ Yes, you are the first person to know about this” He said and Mandy sighed. “ Lucky you, you now have someone to live happy with for the rest of your life. But look at me, I’m all alone” She sniffed. “ No girl, don’t say that again. Have you forgotten there’s someone else apart from us?” He asked. “ Who?” She asked and he smiled. “ Derek of course, Do you know that Derek is in love with you?” She asked and he nodded his head. “ Yes” He said. “ But why didn’t he tell me?” She asked him
“ Maybe he is Afraid that you would reject him because he’s not Rich” Alfred said and Mandy Nodded her head. “ No, I like him that way. Do you think I’ll be Happy with him?” She asked and Alfred nodded his head Smiling. “ Yes, Derek is a nice guy. I’m heading there now, do you want to go?” He asked and she sighed. “ I don’t know, I look so horrible” She sighed. “ I’m going there to Give Vanessa the Good news, You won’t want to miss that” He said and Mandy smiled. “ True, I don’t want to miss that” She stood up from the bed and cleaned her face. “ Wait for me, I freshen up and meet you” She said Smiling. “ Alright, I’ll be in the sitting room”
He left the room as Soon as Mandy entered the bathroom, the house looked so Messy and dirty. He felt so sorry for Mandy, if only there was a way he could make her happy. He thought of accepting her love but it would bring misunderstanding between him and Vanessa, Vanessa would feel betrayed and he didn’t want to loose her trust. He looked around the house and when he was back to the sitting room, Mandy was already waiting for him.
“ Now, this is the Mandy I know” He said and gave her a wink. “ Hey stop flirting with me, I have a boyfriend” She said and they both laughed. “ I also have a girlfriend” He reminded her. “ I know , now let’s go before she discovered you are with me and tore my hair off” Mandy said laughing. “ It’s true, I’ll have your things move to my house later in the day” Alfred said and she nodded her head. “ That’s Good, Derek would move back to your house after we got married” She teased. “ No way, You guys would make us jealous” Mandy held his arm and they left the house.
They left the house in Alfred’s car Talking and laughing in the car. That was the Best side of Alfred Mandy always wanted, Alfred was the kind and jovial type right from the beginning but everything changed when they lost their parents.
“ We are here” Alfred Parked the Car in front of the house. They got down from the car and knocked on the door. Derek opened the Door Smiling happily. “ It seems like families are having a get together here today” He said. Alfred didn’t know what he meant until he went inside the sitting room and found Jonah eating an ice cream in the couch. “ Hey Bro” He lifted up his hand. “ Daddy! Look, little Daddy Bought me gifts” Mara said happily. She had chocolate on her Mouth and cheeks. “ Jonah, what are you doing here?” Alfred asked surprisingly.
“ Relaxed Bro, I came to see Sister in-law and my Baby. Look, she calls me little Daddy” Jonah said smiling. “ I see” Vanessa came out from the kitchen holding a tray of meat pies. “ Who’s Hungry? Oh, you are here” She put the Tray down on the Table. “ Oh God, I’m so Hungry and this looks so delicious” Mandy stretched her hand to pick a pie but Vanessa stopped her. “ Hey what’s that for?” She Argued. “ I didn’t say you should take any, it’s For my Love and his brother” She said with her hands on her waist.
“ By your love, you mean me?” Alfred asked with a broad smile. “ Yes of course” She said and rolled her eyes. “ My Baby must eat this” Derek Quickly picked two pies and gave one to Mandy. “ Bring it back” Vanessa said but Derek wouldn’t let her get to Mandy. “ Eat that fast and take another one” Derek said to Mandy. “ Alright” She answered him. “ Hey, bring that back” she started chasing them around the room. “ Stop chasing us, we won’t give you back” Mandy said laughing in between eating.
They Played around the house , chatted happily. Mara was the happiest kid that day, she was so happy seeing her Mummy and Daddy laughing together.
“ Attention everyone!” Mandy beat the Table and they all turned to her. “ Alfred have an Announcement to do” She said happily. At first, Alfred didn’t know what she meant until she gave him a wink. “ Oh, yes I almost forget” He looked at Vanessa who was sitting on the carpet and Smiled. “ Grandma Has Approved of Vanessa and she want to see you and Mara tomorrow”
