Mary returned back to the room like nothing happened, she had washed her face in the kitchen before going back to the room.
“ What Did The Assistant said?” Abby asked her but Mary only smiled. “ Forget about them and let’s focus on this thing right here” Bella said and they Turned to Mona who was still sobbing. “ It’s Better you save those tears for When your punishment will Come” Abby apologized. Mary was so happy deep inside her heart that she confessed. She wondered why the Assistant Denied that , She Knew it was better to just tell him the truth. And what he whispered in her ear gave her confidence again and she couldn’t help but smile.
“ Why are you smiling?” Abby asked Surprisingly. “ Nothing” She said and Quickly Changed the topic. “ So you are 19?” Mary asked. “ Yes, what?” She asked. “ It’s just that you are talker than any of us here” Mary said and Abby laughed. “ It’s true, I’m The tallest in my family. My Older sister is just like you and when we go out together, people assume I’m older than her because of her small statue” She said laughing. “ Thank God you are not Fat, you are just tall. I like your Confidence girl” Mary gave her a thumbs up. “ Let’s Focus on this girl”.
Next Morning, Alfred Went to the girls Quarters As none of them Showed up in the sitting room. He knocked on the door but it took them long to open the door.
“ Good Morning, Boss” Abby robbed her eyes and Yawned. “ What are you girls still doing inside by this time? You should be in the kitchen now” He said. “ We didn’t sleep last night, we waited for you to come back and didn’t know when we fell asleep” She reminded him. “ Oh Sorry, I forgot about that. Where’s Mona?” He asked and Abby pointed to the Bed where Mona was sleeping soundly. “ Tell her to meet me in the sitting room” He said and left. Abby woke the other girls up and Mona too “ The Boss want to see you in the sitting room” She turned to Mary and Bella. “ None of us want to miss her punishment” She said and they followed Mona out of the room after washing their teeth and face.
Alfred sat on the sofa with Mandy beside Him, Mona Knelt in front of them with her eyes fixed on the floor. Abby, Mary and Bella stood a little Far from them but not as far as they won’t hear what was been said.
“ Mona, What you tried to do yesterday Will put you in jail. You know right?” He asked and she nodded her head. “ With your voice!” Mandy Shouted at her. “ Yes Boss, I’m Sorry” She sniffed and wiped the tears on her face. “ I’ll have call the cops and have you put in jail for trying to drug those girls over there but, Mandy pleaded with me to spare you” Alfred said But the girls weren’t Happy with that. “ She said you came from a poor family and you are the one taking care of your siblings and Grandfather right?” He asked and she Lifted up her head. “ Yes Boss” The girls exchanged glances, they have started feeling bad for her.
“ For what you did to my daughter, I forgive you. For what you tried to do to them, it’s up to them to forgive you” Alfred pointed to Them. “ I forgive her” They Chorused. “ Good girls. But I’m Sorry you’ll have to leave our family” Mona turned to him with tears on her face. “ I’m Sorry please, I promise I won’t do that again” She pleaded in tears. “ I know you won’t that’s Why I’m letting you go. Go out there and live a free life” He brought out an envelope from his pocket and handed it to her. “ That’s 10k Dollars, Mandy said you are a Good cook. I’m sure opening a restaurant sounds Great to you right?” He asked but she was Dumfounded.
“ For being a Good girl and a great cook for me, I’m giving you this” Mandy gave her another envelope. “ It’s 3k Dollars, I’m Not as rich as My brother here” She teased. “ And this too” She gave her a big bag. “ That’s The Dress you’ve always wanted from me. You are the type of friend I’ll never get again, I missed you already” Mandy Stood up from the sofa and hugged her. Alfred looked away, Everyone in the room were crying and it would soon affect him. “ Okay then bye Mona, I’ll visit your restaurant some day” Alfred said and left the house.
“ I’m So sorry, Thanks for all this. You guys are the nicest people I’ve ever met” Mona said in tears. “ We love you Mona, Please forgive us too” The girls said and Mona turned to Bella. “ I’m Sorry Bella, I wish you and your crush happiness” She hugged her. “ Go Bring out your bags, I’ll take you home” Mandy said and Mona nodded her head. The girls helped her take the bags to the car and Mona left.
“ Our Boss is so kind?” Bella said Smiling. “ I was so touched out there, Mona would have been with us now if she hadn’t tried that” Bella said and Mary and Abby Chuckled. “ She would have kept on trying to snatch Jonah from you. You should be happy on how this whole thing turned out” Mary said and Bella nodded her head. “ You are right, I can now Do whatever it takes to make him fall in love with me. Mona was on my way, But now she’s so rich. I’m jealous” She said. “ Jealous of Mona? You will get tons of Dollars When you become Jonah’s girlfriend. We won’t even recognize you if you become his wife” Mary Reminded her.
