“ For confessing by yourself, I forgive you but. Your maid has to leave this house for trying to drug other people too” He said. “ Thank you so much Alfred but please, Do not lock her in jail. She’s an orphan and the one taking care if her Siblings and grandfather. Please forgive her” Mandy pleaded. “ It’s okay” He hugged her But he was still Angry and Disappointed.
Alfred left Mandy’s room, he went out of the house and beckoned on his Assistant who was with the security man.
“ Do you want anything, Boss? Is Ma’am Mandy disturbing you again?” The Assistant teased him. Alfred Watched him as he went on and on Trying to me him life. And at the end, Alfred started laughing but with tears coming down from his eyes. The Assistant became Confused, he only saw his Boss cried once and that was when he lost his parents. “ Are you alright?” The Assistant asked. “ You Haven’t Go home? Alfred asked him Smiling, still in tears. “ No, I won’t go today. Please tell me what’s going on Boss. Is it Grandma?” He asked Worriedly. “ Why didn’t you tell me you have a girlfriend? I would have be the happiest person to see My big bro finally getting married”
Alfred Hugged the Assistant, He had no idea what to do to him. He didn’t want to hurt him, he was there for him in his Good and bad days and he wouldn’t pay him with bad like he did to him.
“ I’m Sorry” The Assistant Patted his back. “ Show me your girlfriend” Alfred said standing upright. “ Wait here” He said and went inside the house. Alfred prayed and hoped it shouldn’t be who he was thinking. The Assistant was so happy, he went to the quarters and knocked on the door. “ Who’s there?” Came Abby’s voice. “ It’s Me” The Assistant said. Abby unlocked the door and stood on the way when the Assistant Entered. “ Since when do you girls start closing the door?” He looked at the left side of the room and found Mona Sitting in a crouched position Beside her bunk bed.
“ Are you girls Bullying her?” He asked but they didn’t answer him. “ Come Mary, I want to show you something” Mary followed him out of the room and Abby locked the door again. “ What did she do?” He asked Mary. “ She wanted to drug us like she did to Mara and Vanessa but we caught her , The Boss asked us not to let her escape” The Assistant paused. “ The Boss?” He asked with his eyes wide opened. “ Yes the Boss, you should be worried that she wanted to drug your girlfriend. So where are you taking me to?” She asked him. “ Did the Boss Went to Mandy’s room to Question her?” He asked Mary. “ I think so” She said.
The Assistant started Sweating, Different thoughts were running through his mind but he tried to let it go. The more he tried, the more it increased. Mary followed him out of the house, she was still confused on where he was taking her to. Alfred was still waiting for them outside when the came.
“ She’s your girlfriend?” He asked and the Assistant Nodded his head. Mary was surprised. Alfred heaved a sigh of relief, he thought it was Bella that was his girlfriend. “ Apart from this, what are you two hiding from me? Feel free to tell me and I won’t do anything to you. I understand why you did that but I’ll Only forgive you if you Confess to me right now” He said Smiling. Mary and the Assistant looked at each other , They understood what the Boss was trying to do. Mary has been waiting for that opportunity to right what she did wrong. She moved forward and Knelt on the ground.
“ I’m Sorry” She Covered her face with her palms. Alfred looked at his Assistant who was looking at Mary confusingly. “ What about you, are you hiding anything from me? Tell me now and I’ll forgive you” Alfred said and he turned to Alfred. “ I’m not hiding anything from you” He said boldly. Alfred was Disappointed, He looked at Mary who was on the ground and helped her up. “ What did you do?” He asked her. “ I’m Sorry it wasn’t my fault, I know I agreed but he offered me a huge sum of money. I needed that money so bad for my Mum’s operation and I agreed to do it. I was the one that backed Mara and took her out of the house that night” She said crying.
Alfred looked at her pitifully, He knew Mary’s Family and their story that was why he hired her from the first place. She was from a poor family and the breadwinner ever since their Father ran away and left them with their sick Mum.
“ You should have Talk to me about the money instead of conspiring with them” He said. “ I’m So Sorry Boss, I’ve been feeling so bad since I did that. Please forgive me” She apologized. She wanted to kneel again but he held her and hugged her. He whispered something in to her ear and Mary Nodded her head. She cleaned her face and went inside the house leaving Fred and the Assistant. “ I’m Giving you the last chance” He said. “ I didn’t do anything” The Assistant said Confidently. “ Alright, I’m Sorry for Disturbing you. Don’t forget we are going to the hospital tomorrow early in the morning” He said and The Assistant nodded his head. “ Good night sir, have a nice sleep” He waved to Alfred.
“ What nonsense, I’ll have to teach that girl a lesson. What does she think she’s doing? She thought The Boss would Suspect me? He trust me” He whistled as he went back to the Security man’s place.
