Chapter 94: Chapter 94

Madison's POV

Tears circulated in my eyes as Mona held my hand tight with a wide smile, assuring me that everything will be alright.

“Who is she? Why does she look like she was going to strangle me?” I cried out.

“Madison, I know you're scared. She said it to your face that she'll have you punished, but I don't see any reason why you have to be afraid. I mean, you didn't do anything wrong to her. She only bumped into you, and that's a mistake not a crime” Mona shook her head.

“What if I get punished heavily because of her? Didn't you hear the other slave earlier? She said that the lady I bumped into is the master's best friend?” I cried out.

“So what? You didn't do anything to her for her to say she'll have your throat cut off” Mona sighed.

“You should know how things are done in this castle. When I was with Master Xavier, things were different. I was treated like a princess, and my opinion was heard, but you know I'm a slave in the Stone's castle. Do you expect the Master to believe a slave instead of his best friend?” I sulked.

“You're not just a slave anymore, Mandy. Have you forgotten Zara called you mama?” Mona giggled, and I scoffed.

“She's just a child who knows nothing. That's not a guarantee that I'm not a slave” I cried out.

“She's enough reason for you not to get hurt. Have you forgotten how important you are to her? The Master will never let anyone lay their fingers on you as long as it has to do with his daughter” Mona reassured me.

“I just hope so, Mona. She looks so scary and mean, and for some reason her words were so real. I just pray I don't get myself into trouble all because of her. She stared at me with so much hatred, like she had met me before. I'm certain this is the first time I'm setting my eyes on her, why was she behaving as if she had something against me all this while?” I said worriedly.

“You shouldn't get yourself worked up over little things like this. What matters is that you did absolutely nothing wrong to her, which everyone present would testify to. I'm sure she's just jealous of your pretty face” Mona nudged me, and I burst into laughter.

“How ridiculous! You can't tell me that such a graceful lady has a comparison with me. She looks so sophisticated, and there's no doubt she's much better than a slave like me” I replied, and Mona snorted.

“That's what you think. I just want you to know that you don't have to be scared of her because you did nothing to her” Mona said, and I nodded my head in agreement.

“What about Zara? Aren't you going to feed her lunch today?” Mona changed the topic.

“Oh” I snapped, and jerked up from the bed. Rushing down the hallway, I walked straight into her room. The aroma of the freshly baked strawberry cake filled the room.

“Please Zara dear, I'm sure you will like this. It's very delicious, you don't necessarily have to wait for your Madison to feed you all the time. She has a lot more other things to do” The cook urged her, and she turned her face away, refusing to eat.

“Miss Cheryl, you can leave this to me” I tapped her shoulder, and she smiled at me.

“Thank you so much for coming at the right time, Madison. I don't know what else to tell her so that she'll eat” Chef Cheryl exhaled deeply before walking away.

“Zara, don't you want me to be happy? I've always told you that each time you do not eat I'm always sad, don't you know?” I feigned sadness.

Zara got up, and handed her iPad to me. I looked at the screen of the iPad.

“Family Christmas camp? You want to attend that?” I arched my eyebrows, and she nodded with smiles all over her face.

“What? But how are we supposed to attend? According to this information, I heard it's supposed to be a father, mother, and child camp. It's a 3-day camp” I raised my brows.

She picked up her pencil, and wrote on the book beside her before passing it to me. I took the book, and read what she wrote out loud.

“Me, you and Daddy are family” I read out, and gasped.

“What?” Mona and I chorused, and she nodded her head with a smile.

Bianca's POV

“Why do you look so surprised? You said you can do anything you like, and that there's nothing you can't help me get” I snarled at him.

“I'm sorry to disappoint you, Bianca. This is practically impossible, you want me to kill someone when you have not even been here for 2 days at least. Madison is not the kind of person who would start a fight” He defended her, and I scoffed.

“Really? So, the slave is right? He really has a soft spot for her” I thought inwardly.

“What makes you think I will just come here and start accusing her falsely? She has been nothing but trouble. Meeting me for the first time, and already causing problems for me? Isn't that enough to kill or punish her?” I growled.

“You are here to tell me the reason you returned to the Castle. I thought I heard you're getting married to the prince of Campbell? Why did you change your mind and decide to come back? You've always wanted a charming prince, I'm sure he is suitable” He turned over the scroll on the table.

“I couldn't find any other person who is as suitable as you are. Is it my fault that I keep on loving you, even if I just don't want to?” I walked closer to him with a lustful smile.

“Don't step an inch closer. If this is what you have to say, I advise you not to even try saying it again” He warned.

Just then, the door creaked open. Madison walked in with Zara, who she was carrying.

“Hey! Why are you here without invitation?” I yelled at Madison.

“It's not left for you to say, Bianca. What do you want, Madison?” He asked calmly.

She handed a paper to me, and Zara giggled the moment he took it.

“Family Christmas camp? Father, mother and child?” Lucien raised his brows.

“Wow! That means me, you and Zara” I laughed hysterically.

“Nah… I w…want ma. ma” Zara spoke up, and pointed at Madison, and I scoffed.

“Madison is her Mama?” I freaked out….
