Chapter 93: Chapter 93
Xavier's POV
"They are sound and safe. A message came from the castle that they are back in good health" Scorpion bowed slightly at me.
My face brightened, and smiles escaped my lips. My eyes were still swollen, and my lips sore. For the past few days, all I did was to blame myself for their death which I thought had happened. I couldn't get off my head that I was the reason why Madison died alongside Stone, so the news really brightened me up.
"Are you sure about that? They are really back?" I jumped for joy as Derek and Karl walked into my chambers.
"Have you heard the good news? Have you heard that Lucien and Madison are still alive? As a matter of fact they are back to the Castle" I turned to them, and they nodded their heads in agreement.
"I'm so happy that they are back, if not you had been blamed forever for what happened to Stone" Derek snapped.
"So what should we do next? I think it's high time I go and meet Stone. I need him to know that I really want to spend the rest of my life with Madison by my side" I replied sharply, and they exchanged glances at each other.
"Don't tell me you're serious, Xavier?" Karl snorted, and I arched my eyebrows.
"What do you mean by that? You think I'm really joking about this? I'm serious, and I want to tell Stone my intentions. I'm willing to give you the amount of money you want as long as he will release the slave to me. Have you forgotten that I'm supposed to be married to her already?" I widened my eyes.
"Don't be ridiculous! You're still going to push through with the wedding after everything that has happened? Have you forgotten how mad Stone was when you told him you wanted to marry her?" Karl rolled his eyes at me.
"Do I look like I care about what Stone thinks? This is about my happiness, and I expect you guys to stand by me" I replied.
"What nonsense are you talking about? I just want to let you know that you can't marry that slave. Will you get her out of your mind, if not for anyone else, but for her sake? You've endangered her life enough, and I think it's high time you give her a break" Derek shook his head in disapproval.
I just didn't want to listen to them, but they were right. Because of me, she almost lost her life. All because of that obsessive Tara.
"What do you expect me to do? You expect me to give up on her?" I almost screamed my voice out.
"Yes Xavier. You should give her a break, don't let your so-called love for her lead to her death. Stone is not someone you should play around with" Karl snapped at me.
I turned my face away as tears circulated in my eyes. What should I really do? Should I give up on her as they are convincing me to? If you were in my shoes, what would you have done? Would you have let the only one that makes you happy leave even if you know you'll get hurt the most?
Lucien's POV
"F*** it! Why does she have to show up again after so many years?" I thought out loud, and banged my fist on the table angrily.
The door creaked open, and Axel walked in with both hands behind.
"Master, Miss Bianca wants to see you" He said, and my heart skipped a beat. What does she want? Doesn't she understand that I don't even want to set my eyes on her?
"What for? Tell her I don't want to entertain any visitor" I coldly replied, and Axel bowed before leaving.
Minutes later, I heard commotions outside my chambers.
"Let me into this f****** room, you di*k! Who do you think you are to tell me I'm a visitor?" I heard Bianca's loud voice. She was yelling.
"You can't get into the chambers, Miss. He already gave the orders that he doesn't want to entertain any form of visitors. I hope you'll respect the Master's decisions" I heard Axel tell her.
"You're nuts. Get into that bloody chambers, and tell him that I'm no f******* visitor. I'm sure you want your fingers cut off" She continued ranting.
The noise continued, and when I couldn't take the noise anymore, I had to step out of the chamber.
"Let her in." I said calmly, and walked back into the chamber. The door swung open widely, and Bianca walked in chewing her bubblegum. She had always loved chewing gum and making noise… such that I wondered why the hell I even fell for her in the first place?
"Your room… I mean the chambers are so dark. Who the heck can stay in such a dark moisture room if not a blood sucking vampire?" She teased me, and I rolled my eyes.
"To what do I owe this visit?" I ignored all she had said earlier.
"What do you think, Lucien? I never forgot about you, and that's why I'm here. Besides, don't you miss me?" She winked seductively at me, and I turned my gaze away.
"No I don't. We're over Bianca, and that's a long time ago. What makes you think I still have any memory of you?" I snorted at her.
"You really don't? Are you sure about that?" She laughed, and I sighed.
"What do you want, Bianca? I was busy before you interrupted" I said emotionlessly.
"I want a favor before everything else. You have to promise me you'll do me this favor, Lucien" She said in between her gritted teeth.
"What favor? There's absolutely nothing I can't do" I bragged.
"I know, and I know you'll grant me this last wish. I want her punished or dead" She growled, and I raised my brows at her.
"Who?"
"Madison, the slave" She responded, and I freaked out immediately….
