Chapter 117: Chapter 117

Madison's POV

I walked into the well-furnished with my jaw dropped. To be honest, if anyone had told me that I would be given such a room in the castle, I would have accused the person of lying.

“Mandy, congratulations” I heard a shrieking voice, and the door was thrown open. Of course, I wasn't surprised to see Mona. She's the only one who would shout anytime she sees me.

“Mona, thank you so much” I held her hand, and she giggled.

With a shrug, she patted my hair. “Who else would I help if not you, dear sister? I told you I won't let you die, and I kept my promise”

“I was so scared. You know how slaves who get pregnant for the Master are being killed, right? I was surprised when the master said I was an exception. You don't know how scared I was” I gulped nervously.

“Haven't you noticed? I think the master has a thing for you, and that's the reason he made you an exception” Mona lowered her voice, and giggled.

“Rubbish! What are you saying? You're wrong, he only kept me alive because of Zara. Don't you know he'd do anything for her?” I pouted my mouth.

“Whatever! What's important to me is that you're still alive. I don't know what I would have done if you died” Mona hugged me tight.

“Right here, Miss Adelaide. Put all my stuff here, and I just want you to know that this will be my new room” I heard a tiny voice from outside.

Just then, I heard a faint knock on the door. I turned my gaze to Mona. “Who could that be?”

I wanted to get up, but Mona shook her head in disagreement. “You sit here, I'll get the door for you”

Furthermore, I nodded my head in agreement as she walked to the door, and clicked the doorknob open. The door was pushed open, and little Zara rushed in with one of the slaves, Adelaide.

“Hey Zee!” I called out, and chuckled. She rushed to me, and hugged me so tightly that I almost choked.

“Sweet Mandy, I've decided to get all my stuff to this room. You and I will be sharing the room together” She smiled.

“Huh? Are you certain that your father will not be angry with you? I don't know, I just feel like he might get mad at you” I cleared my throat noisily.

“I'm going to tell him that I'm here to protect you. I heard you are having my baby brother, and it's only right for me to protect you at all times. You're already pregnant, Sweet Mandy. You can't protect yourself anymore. I'm sure my daddy will understand” She confidently replied, and that got me laughing.

“Really? Do you think you are strong enough to protect me? What if the person who wants to hurt me is so huge, how would you help me then?” I raised a brow, and she bit her lips.

“Who said I don't have muscles? Of course, I'm really tough. I'm going to push that person hard on the ground, and step on the person” She replied, and I smiled.

“You know what? I've been thinking how I'll survive in this giant room alone, it's a good thing you're here, Baby Zee” I held her pinky finger, and she giggled.

“Hey Zara, I didn't know you were that strong. I should be so scared now” Mona chipped in, and we shared a laugh.

“I'll help Adelaide pack my clothes inside the wardrobe” Zara ran to the wardrobe side of the room.

A few minutes later, a knock came to my door. “Come in”

The door was creaked open, and a servant walked in with a cup of milkshake.

“I didn't order that. Why did you bring it?” I narrowed my eyes.

“It's specially for you. You need to take enough milk, Miss Madison” She walked to me, and stretched forth her hand to give me the glass of milkshake.

I was about to take the milkshake when Zara rushed to me, and because of that, I couldn't hold the glass tight. It shattered on the ground.

“Oh my goodness! Madison, are you hurt?” Mona held me, and I shook my head.

“I'm fine. Please help me tidy the mess” I softly told the servant who walked away with disappointment written all over her face.

“What a relief! I thought you got hurt” Zara held my hand, and I smiled at her, shaking my head in disagreement.

“Where is she? How dare she spill the milk I made for her? I was just being nice, and she spilled the milk” I heard a female voice ranting. Bianca stormed into the room, and I jerked up from the bed.

“What are you doing here, Bianca?” Mona rushed to her, and she scoffed.

“Isn't your friend so ungrateful? I made this milkshake specially for her, and all she did was spill the milk? Isn't that the height of it all?” Bianca freaked out.

“She didn't just spill the milk. It was a mistake, and it's a good thing she didn't get hurt” Mona stood up for me.

“What are you talking about? When did you become her mouth? Is she dumb that she can't speak for herself?” Bianca grabbed my hand.

“Let go of me. The glass slipped, and fell off from my hand” I gulped nervously.

“You should be grateful that I even made a glass of milkshake for you. I was just doing all this because of the master because he's a good friend of mine. You're carrying his child, I'm trying to be kind to you” Bianca raised her hand to hit me, and I shut my eyes.

I waited for her hand to land on my cheek, but it didn't. I gradually opened my eyes, and saw the Master holding her hand. Bianca narrowed her eyes at him.

“Don't you dare lay a finger on her if you don't have a death wish” The master's hoarse voice brought cold shivers down my spine.

“Lucien, it wasn't…” She tried to explain, but the master forcefully let go of her hand. She staggered until she landed her butt on the hard floor.

“Get out, Bianca. Pack your stuff, and leave the Castle. You have thirty minutes to leave” Master Stone glared at her….
