Maria's POV

I gave out a shrieking yell immediately as I got into the room. Emery was in the pool of her blood. Furthermore, I was so scared that I had to cover my mouth with my palms.

“What is going on?” Some guards rushed into the room on hearing the scream.

“It's…. Emery. She's been stabbed” I pointed to her cold body. They rushed to her, and carried her out of the room.

I was still sobbing as Emery's corpse was laid on the bamboo bed outside the castle. The Master walked out of the castle with an emotionless face.

“What exactly happened to your mistress?” He asked with his face fixed on Emery's lifeless body.

“I… I don't know, Master. I just got into the room, and found her in the pool of blood” I cried bitterly.

“Do you know anyone who could have killed her? I mean, is there anyone who has issues with her, or someone who doesn't like her?” He raised a brow, and turned to me. I quickly bowed my head.

“To be honest, I don't know anyone who would want her dead. I only know someone who hates her so much” I bit my lower lips.

“Someone who hates her? Who is that person?” The Master roared.

Whenever an ordinary slave dies, the body is always thrown into a shaft outside the castle. Emery wasn't an ordinary slave, she's the Master's favorite slave, so her body would be burnt, and her ashes stored in a bottle which will be kept in the treasury room.

“I'm scared, master. I don't know if calling this out will put me into trouble” I shivered in fear, and the master scoffed.

“I am trouble, whoever puts you into trouble is only putting you into me. You shouldn't fear or shiver, I'm the Master. Made of Stone, with no heart, no one would dare lay a hand on Maria” He growled, and everyone bowed.

“It's Lioness. She has always hated Emery so much. Even though with her title as the Master's favorite slave, she isn't allowed to do most chores, Lioness would always force her to do the chores” I swallowed hard.

“Lioness?” The master mumbled. I could feel the doubt written all over his face.

“Axel! Fetch Lioness, now” The Master ordered, and Axel bowed before leaving.

A few moments later, Lioness walked in with Axel. She bowed to the Master immediately.

“You sent for me, Stone”

Master Stone cleared his throat noisily before speaking. “Do you know whose corpse is this, Lioness?”

The Master pointed to Emery's lifeless body, and Lioness nodded her head in agreement. “That's your favorite slave, Emery. I heard she was found dead today in her apartment”

“Why did you do it, Lioness? I know you hated her so much, why would you go this far?” The Master glared at her, and she blinked her eyes rapidly.

“Do what? I don't understand what you're saying, Stone” She arched her eyebrows.

“Why did you kill Emery?”

Lioness gasped in shock. “Kill Emery? I didn't do that. You should know things I can do, Stone”

“Burn her body” The Master snapped before walking away. I stared at him confused, I thought he was going to continue asking Lioness.

Madison's POV

“How are you feeling now, Mandy?” Lady Delia asked, and I smiled faintly at her.

“You don't have to keep bothering yourself, lady Delia. I'm feeling better” I replied.

“I'm so happy for you, Madison. You'll be having a child for the Master, and you're safe now as well. No one will hurt you from now on. Again, where are your old sack clothes?” Lady Delia asked.

“They are in my room” I snapped.

“Rodolfo, trash all the sack clothes. Order brand-new dresses for the Mistress, and tell the servants to fix a master's bedroom for Madison” She ordered the guard, and my eyes widened in shock.

“You… you don't need to do that for me. I'm doing very well at the servants quarter” I was still shocked.

“That's impossible. The master's mistress can't be in a servant's quarter. You should always be ready for a treatment like this” She said, and I nodded my head in agreement.

All my life, I've never felt as loved as I'm feeling now. To think that, I'm actually the master's mistress from being a slave.

“Sweet Mandy! So, you're here?” I heard a tiny voice. It was Zara. She ran straight to me, and I hugged her tightly.

“Baby Zee! I missed you so much” I kissed her forehead, and she giggled.

“I'm happy you're safe”

Bianca's POV

I walked into the room, and quickly hid the bloody knife under the bed. I was about to get into the bathroom when I saw Marvin, he saw the blood stain in my palms, but I hid my hands behind me.

“Mom, are you okay?” He asked, and I faked a smile at him.

“Of course, I'm okay, son. You can go ahead and play, I'm busy” I rushed into the bathroom, and took a quick bath.

A few minutes later, I got out of the bathroom. I picked up my bag, and brought out a purse from it.

“Who says Madison will give birth to a child for Stone?” I laughed as I picked up the pills inside the purse….
