Chapter 113: Chapter 113
Mona's POV
Tears rolled down my eyes as I stared at Mateo. He was wearing a grin on his face, and all I felt was bitterness.
“Tell me, why are you doing this? What has she done to deserve this wickedness?” I cried out.
“What wickedness? I didn't tell on her, even if we were enjoying each other's company. Are you surprised that she's been sleeping with me?” He laughed hysterically.
“You can tell me any other thing, but I know my friend too well. She will never have anything to do with you, why are you lying against her? She has done absolutely nothing to you, is that how much you hate her?” I sobbed.
“You think anything is going to save her? The master saw her with me. It's not like he was told, he saw with his own eyes. Why are you not believing something that the Master saw as well?” He narrowed his eyes.
“Because no matter whatever they say, I know my friend. I know what she can do and what she can't do. I trust her so much, and there's no way I'll believe anyone else but her” I snapped.
“Even if you had seen her with your two eyes?” He raised a brow.
“We can also be deceived by the things we see, the things we see might actually not be true. So, I won't even believe it even if I had seen both of you together unless she admits it” I replied, and he scoffed.
“Friends like you are rare, she really got herself a good friend. Too bad, not even you will be able to save her from this predicament. She's definitely going to be stoned to death tomorrow, you can't do anything about it because you might as well die if you try opposing the master's decision. I feel sorry for you because you won't be able to save your friend” He mocked, and I dimmed my eyes. I could immediately sense that he was lying against Madison.
“You think I didn't notice your movement with Bianca? Or do you think I'm that dumb?” I snorted. Honestly, I only saw Bianca leave the dungeon, and I didn't hear anything that they had said.
“What are you talking about?” He snapped, and I laughed dryly.
“You must think I'm gullible, right? Too bad, you don't know that I notice every movement that you are making” I rolled my eyes. He widened his eyes in shock, breathing heavily.
“She made a promise, and she's never going to withdraw from it” He replied.
“Aren't you so stupid? Do you actually believe desperate women like Bianca? She'll never keep to her promise, and whatever it is that you are expecting in return won't happen” I giggled. I don't even know what promise it is that she made, but I just have to make him think I do.
“Wait… Are you trying to tell me that she won't get me out of here?” He almost choked. So, this is what it is about?
“Get you out of here? Whatever made you think she's going to do that? Do you think she cares about you? She will only use you, and don't be when you are useless to her. You being here in this dungeon means you're useless to her” I laughed again.
“Shut up! You know nothing, and no one asked for your opinion. You can go to hell!” He gulped nervously.
“Are you certain? I think you'll be the first one to go to hell because you're already close to it. You'll be having a pepper-bath in the next 30 minutes, so among the both of us, who's in hell?” I laughed before walking away.
I have to find a way to save my friend.
Bianca's POV
The closer the evening drew, the more anxious I became. I don't just want to get rid of Madison, I want to get rid of that stupid field Master, Mateo.
Madison will be stoned to death tomorrow, and Mateo too will be thrown into a boiling pot. That will be the end of both of them. What if I don't help him? He might end up telling on me, right?
I paced around in anxiety. Furthermore, I have to find a way as soon as possible to shut his mouth up.
“Mom! Are you okay? You look terrible, and I don't feel surprised about it because this so-called Castle is so terrible. Mom, why don't you just go back to the States?” I heard his tiny voice.
“Marvin, will you keep your mouth shut? Don't you like the fact that we are living in a big house, and that we will get whatever we want anytime we want it? Why are you being such a killjoy?” I tutted loudly, and he rolled his eyes.
“The old woman you told me is your mother, and my grandma, she's so old-fashioned. TF! You won't believe she wanted to bathe me by herself. I hate it when people treat me like a baby. Mommy, let's just go” He cried out.
“If we must leave this castle, then we are bringing your father with us” I snapped, and he rolled his eyes.
“And that daughter of his! That sucks!” He groaned in sarcasm before walking away.
“Little thing! If only you know what I'm doing just because of you, you'll be so grateful to God for giving you such a lovely mommy” I rolled my eyes.
THE NEXT DAY
The guards marched towards the dungeon, and unlocked the keys. Taking the chains aside, they stormed into the dungeon where Mateo was kept.
“Get him up. Today he'll be boiled to death, and here he is sleeping like a pig. He should be praying to God for his last day on Earth” The Chief guard scorned him, and they shared a laugh.
The other grabbed him, and stood him up.
“WHAT? He has gone cold” One of them gasped.
“He's dead.” The other exclaimed as they saw foam rushing out of his mouth….
