Chapter 102: Chapter 102

Madison's POV

I stirred the tea, and blew air into the cup for a few seconds before handing it over to Zara.

She sighed, and took the cup from me. “Thank you, Sweet Mandy”

“Baby Zee, are you okay? You don't look okay to me, that's why I asked” I patted her hair, and she sniffed hard.

She bit her lips, staring at me with gloomy eyes. “ Sweet Mandy, do you think that Marvin is really my brother? Do you think Bianca is telling the truth that I actually have a step-brother, and he's Marvin?”

I felt sorry for the poor child. She just recovered, and she's already getting stressed out already.

“I really don't know, Zara. I can't see whether Bianca is lying or not, but don't you want a brother?” I raised my brow, and she shook her head.

“I want a brother, Sweet Mandy. I really don't want to be the only one with my daddy, but I just feel like Bianca is a bad person, so her son is also going to be bad. Don't you think so?” She pouted her mouth, and I smiled at her.

Holding her hands, I kissed her fist, then she giggled. God knows all I want is for Zara to be happy, and at peace. “Have you forgotten why we are here? We are here because we want to do some bonding, and because you would like us to enjoy ourselves, especially for your sake. Are you going to let other people ruin the fun?”

“No. That's not why we are here. We should be happy together as one big happy family” She laughed as I tickled her.

“Good girl. I hope you heard the bell, didn't you? We should all assemble at the fireplace for dinner, then we'll go hunting today. It's really going to be fun” I giggled excitedly.

“Yes, I really can't wait” She replied, sipping the tea I gave her.

Without hesitation, I quickly took Zara to the bathroom. I helped her a shower, and dressed her in casual wear.

“Shall we?” I raised a brow, and she nodded as we stepped out of the room. There were already numerous people at the fireplace.

“We're almost late! Thank God there are three vacant seats left, you can secure one for daddy” She smiled as we sat down.

“Hi baby girl. What's your name?” One of the ladies serving the food to the campers asked Zara.

“I'm Zara!” She responded sharply.

“Nice name. Mummy Zara, what would you like to have?” The lady directed the question to me, and I choked on the glass of water I was drinking.

“Are you… are you talking to me?” I stuttered, swallowing hard.

“Isn't she your mommy?” She asked, and Zara frowned at me.

“Oh, of course she is. Mommy, didn't you hear her? I'm so hungry, I'll eat whatever it is you eat” She sniffed, and I smiled a little.

“What do you have?” I asked.

“You can place your order, ma'am. We have chicken sauce, salad, prawn sauce, white rice, beef strip…” The lady continued.

“We'll have prawn sauce and rice” I snapped, and she wrote it down, and nodded her head before leaving.

“Why did you do that, Sweet Mandy? Do you need anyone to tell you that you are now my Mommy? You shouldn't let anyone think you are not” She said, and I chuckled.

“You like the prawn sauce, don't you?” I furrowed my eyebrows, and she giggled.

“As long as you do”

“Little rascal” I teased her.

The lady walked back in with the plates containing the food. Zara and I are quietly, and I wondered where the Master headed off to.

Bianca's POV

“Have… have you been there long?” I gulped nervously, and he smirked at me.

“Why do you look so nervous, Bianca? You look like you've seen a ghost” He ignored my question, and I scoffed.

“Do I have any reason to be nervous? The only thing I feel right now is rejected. You rejected your son and me just because of a mere slave, and you expect me to be happy, or to act like nothing happened?” I changed the topic.

“You brought this upon yourself, and you don't expect me to feel sorry for you, do you? That will be pathetic of you! Anyway, I hope whatever it is you're cooking won't cause a scandal here. Else, I'll kill you” He said the 'kill you' in between gritted teeth, and to be honest, I shivered in fear.

“You're a psycho, Lucien. I was only talking to my secretary from the states, here you are thinking negative” I lied, blinking hard. The f***! What is wrong with damn Lucien?

“I hope so. Instead of speaking to your so-called secretary, why don't you bring your son over to the fireplace for dinner? I'm sure the poor boy must be so hungry why you are here chit-chatting” He rolled his eyes before leaving.

“Punk!” I muttered under my breath.

I watched him disappear out of sight, and I exhaled deeply before glancing at my wristwatch.

“Where the hell is that stupid man? He should be here already” I mumbled.

“Miss Bianca?” I heard a faint voice from within, and turned around. The man who was putting on a mask rushed to me. He was carrying a basket… a well knitted basket with no big opening.

“I apologize for being late” He whispered, and I snorted at him.

“I hope it's still moving?" I asked with raised eyebrows, and he nodded his head. I folded some money into his hand, and he sneaked away. I picked up the basket and left.

Everyone was at the fireplace, so the camp house was empty. I hurried to Madison and Zara's room, and gradually opened it.

I sneaked in, and opened the basket. The reptile hissed as it crawled out of the basket straight under the bed.

My lips curved to a smile. This is going to be so fun!

I walked out of the room, and closed the door.
