More than 2 hours later, the expected event was ruined after the councilmen exposed Viona's true nature. Damien had not much to say since Viona told him nothing. She kept it hidden, and played with his feelings. Even his own pack members started to mistrust him. Some of them thought that Damien had done everything on purpose. He was aware of Viona's identity from the beginning. Damien turned deaf ears to all those accusations. He was hurt by his own mate, too broken to give any explanation to others.

After Viona was dragged out of his pack probably from his life, he locked himself inside the office room. A tense atmosphere was livid in the house.

Celeb as his beta and loyal companion dared to appear in his office room, skeptically knocking before receiving a cold respond. The sight of his Alpha had shattered Celeb. He never saw such vulnerable sight of him ever.

After standing in silence for a while, Celeb opened his mouth to speak finally,

" Luna has been taken into the dungeon of councilmen's office, Alpha. You won't do anything?"

Pain shot through his heart, reminding of Viona's cry when she desperately shouted for his help. She claimed repeatedly that she was going to tell him today but she never got that opportunity. Barking, Damien slammed his fist on the desk,

" He lied to me, Celeb. All this time! I told her what were those blood bags doing in her room. She still lied looking into my eyes. How can she do this to me? How can she betray my trust when I loved her wholeheartedly?"

An unexpected tear slid from Damien's eyes. He sniffed before looking away. He didn't want others to call him 'weak Alpha'. Celeb exhaled heavily, looking down in deep thoughts. Apart from being a supportive Beta, he was a loyal friend to Damien. His observation on any people never failed.

Celeb attempted to explain everything from his own point of view, hoping that Damien wouldn't leave Viona alone to those cruel councilmen,

" Alpha, despite being a hybrid, Luna has never harmed any of us. Instead, she kept reuniting us always whenever you weren't around. I admit that she didn't do it right from hiding you. But Alpha, what if she has her own securities? She loves you deeply. Besides, having hybrid in a pack is restricted, known to everyone. Perhaps, she thought that she would lose you for forever if she discloses her identity to you."

Damien became silent after Celeb shared his thoughts. Apart from everything, it was true that Viona had never harmed his pack members.

Did she really deserve those punishment?

Celeb continued, coming behind Damien to warn him in a serious voice,

" Don't think from your point of view always, Alpha. Above everything, she loves you."

Celeb left the office after giving his sincere opinions. He felt sorry for the couple who just started having good days together.

" Come on, Bitch! I will show you how you should behave with a councilman!", a blonde guy from the councilmen shouted at Viona. She had been acting as a full hybrid ever since she was taken away from her mate, his pack. Aggressive in nature, snarling, acting violent were her top-notch behavior.

Damien did nothing when they took her away. It also meant that their relationship was over. Now, she had nothing to lose, nothing to fear. Her eyes were tired after shedding too much tears.

" Let go of me! Let go of me!", Viona shouted between her animalistic snarls as the guards started dragging her out of their cage. According to the law of council, Viona was going to send in prison. Later on tomorrow, a decision would be taken after investigating her nature. Either death or ban for community were the punishment for being a hybrid and hiding it from the pack.

The two strong guards dragged her in front of the prison, pushing open the door to throw her inside. But nothing happened when they were attacked all of sudden from behind. Before Viona could register anything, she was also knocked down from behind. Gasping hard, she fell on the floor to hit the ground.

" Don't touch her! Leave her here!", Alaric snarled at Lucas who kidnapped Viona from the councilmen. It was Lucas's plan to reveal her identity to the councilmen first then handed her over to the queen of vampires.

Lucas had successfully executed his plan. First, he had taken away Viona from Damien. An Alpha faces his weakest hours of life when his mate goes away or disappears from his life. Lucas wanted to use this same trick on Damien. Now that Damien's pack was facing the weakest time, he wanted to seize this opportunity to attack Damien's pack and dethrone him from the position of Alpha King.

Lucas held down a low growl, leaving Viona on the floor. Although Alaric and Viona's bond was officially broken, Alaric still had manly affection for her. Probably because they had spent time together and helped each other as friends.

The queen praised, giving Lucas a look of admiration,

" You have done a great job, Lucas. I will fulfill my promises too. Our witch spell will hide your scent for hours until you kill Alpha King."

Lucas smiled gratefully, lowered his tone before gazing up at the queen,

" That's my honor, Your Highness! Now, my job is done. I should be preparing my pack for the attack."

The queen smiled back in return and watched him leave before pulling her eyes back at her son. Alaric stood there, staring down at Viona with mixed feelings. Although, they weren't mates anymore, he felt guilty for forcing everything on her. Rose and the queen were happier than ever. Alaric was finally brainwashed by his mother. Now, he believed the same like his mother that he should claim what belongs to him for the sake of their clan. Which is why, Alaric didn't try to stop his mother when he learned about her plan with Alpha Lucas.

Down on the floor, Viona began to regain consciousness slowly. Alaric was about to help her in sitting up but the queen forbade sternly,

" NO! Son, she won't feel anything for you now and might misunderstand you. Go back to your room and wait for tomorrow. I will force her to break the bond with Alpha King. Later, you can mark her and she will be yours for eternity."

The offer was too tempting for Alaric. He hesitated for a while before leaving with a sigh. Rose quickly dragged Viona inside their prison, chaining her cautiously before she regained her full consciousness.

Viona began to groan in pain for staying in an awkward position for too long. Now that she had lost her sense, she was much more sober than before. Her eyes opened weakly, greeted with an unfamiliar view. More to her surprise, she saw the two evil creatures that she had met in her life.

" You two again!", Viona spat venomously, tried to break free from her chains but they were too tight,made of silver probably. It hurt too much and she stopped moving midway.

Rose quirked her lips up, glad to see that Viona was weak against those silver chains,

" Yes, bitch! You still owe us too much!"

Viona suddenly concluded everything inside her thoughts. Apart from these people, no one ever knew about her second mate. The only possible thing was that they detected her identity and used this opportunity to ruin her relationship with Damien.

Viona barked at them furiously, her eyes burning in rage,

" You did this to me! You hurt my mate! Fuck, just let me free. I will show you what this bitch can do!"

The queen laughed at her threat in mockery. Folding her arms over her chest, she teased in amusement,

" Unfortunately, not happening, Viona until you are mated to my son again and break your bond with that Alpha King."

Viona retorted back, narrowing her eyes dangerously,

" Why are you doing this to me? Your son agreed to break the bond with me willingly. Even, he never forced our bond to tame me ever. Why are you persistent then?"

" Good question!", the queen replied with a chuckle and continued in a dramatic voice,

" I was opposing your relationship with my son until I found through the ritual that...you are a hybrid.."

Viona scowled at her face, whispering through a harsh breath,

" Nothing matters to you about me, being a hybrid. This is forbidden among werewolves."

Viona couldn't figure out how it was going to benefit them if she was a hybrid. The queen kidnapped her first out of hatred. Now, she was doing it again because she wanted her to mate with her son again. Viona was clearly clueless about her ulterior motives.

The queen smirked then replied with a big grin,

" Because I want you to give birth to the first Tribid Heir for our vampire clan."
