Viona got scared by the way Damien's raged eyes bore her perplexed vision. Squirming under his powerful hold, she pressed her lips into a thin line,
" I..I probably left it while taking a shower.."
Damien didn't release her arms immediately and tried to read through her mind. But having second thought, he questioned coldly,
" You put it off on purpose, don't you? You hate our marriage. You hate this mate bond. You hate to be with me. Aren't you?"
Viona looked up at him, astounded by his wild imaginations and protested nervously,
" No..I really didn't do it on purpose.."
Damien's face didn't seem much convinced. He jerked away from her hold angrily and gnashed while stepping on its padel again,
" You never forget to dissapoint me, Viona."
Viona hated herself for forgetting such precious thing of their marriage. A ring bore a deep meaning of Royal. Their unique artistic design represented their clan. Putting it off seemed disrespect to their Alpha. So it was valid for Damien to get mad on her.
The car sped away through the dark streets speedily. The air inside their car had became heavy after his deep dissatisfaction and Viona didn't dare to open her mouth.
She was silent until the car was parked in front of giant restaurant away from the crowd town. Stepping out of the cardoor, Viona saw that the restaurant was stationed by a gigantic lake side. The crystal clear water was glistening under the neon moon lights giving off a refreshing aura.
Viona's mind eased up subconsciously and she was momentarily forgotten that her Alpha was mad at him. Damien slammed the door off with a loud thud and brought her thoughts back to reality.
Turning around, she saw Damien's dark face whose voice came out as cold as ice,
" Let's go and don't make any trouble."
Knowing that he was angry on her, Viona obeyed without second thought and strode inside the fancy hotel without any objections.
Talking about the restaurant, it was a nicely furnished, one of the high classed restaurant that she had ever seen. But the thing that surprised her was that it was all empty except the staffs who was giving them a polite bow of respect.
Do they know who were they?
Viona was curious and continued walking behind Damien who was going deeper inside the restaurant. Following up his path, she discovered a group of middle aged men who were laughing and joking around in a corner table. They held a powerful aura that made Viona's wolf feeling lower in submission but she stubbornly refused. Taking a further look of their outfit, Viona found something weird that each one of them had a red symbol on their chest.
The man with silver hair noticed our entrance first and beamed into a cheering voice,
" King Damien is here! "
Damien replied still keeping his aloof expression,
" Hello, Council."
Receiving a silent gesture from Damien, Viona stepped forward and greeted them with a slight bow,
" Hello, Council."
The other man beside him with red hairs eyed her from head to toe. With a mysterious chuckle, he commented leaning against his chair leisurely,
" Damien, you got a hot Luna."
Damien's wolf growled, offended by the word that he used to describe Viona which made her uncomfortable. Noticing the burning heat of his anger, the silver haired man warned his fellow with a goofy smile,
" Vincent, please! Watch your words."
The man named Vincent shurgged off his shoulders nonchalantly and threw another dirty glare on Viona who appeared uncomfortable. Taking a note that they were councilmen, Viona restrained her anger and stepped forward to stand beside Damien.
Damien replied pulling out a chair for Viona to sit down,
" I hope, Councilman Vincent would pay attention on his words next time. After all,my luna is probably at your younger Daughter's age."
Damien handled the situation wisely. He didn't sound rude but still managed to bring a thin layer of darkeness on Vincent's face. Vincent hated the most to be defined as old but age couldn't be hidden forever.
To erase the awkwardness, the silver haired man, Marcus started the conversation pouring red wine for both of them,
" Let's talk about business first. We still have to return home."
Damien hummed softly,
" Sure! "
The silent man, Alexander spoke with a deep voice,
" We are here to raise a concern. We have got the news of Rogues Attack. If this attacks keep continuing, your pack may be in danger since you have a lot of weak omegas. Why don't you make peace with Lucas? "
The word 'Peace' was like a huge slap to Damien. Being the king of all Alphas, would he have to make peace in fear of a ill mannered Alpha?
His eyes darkened further. Even Viona sensed that the temperature beside her had dropped. She glanced at Damien and indeed he was turning pale.
Vincent who got the opportunity to get back his avenge agreed with a detest voice,
" I agree with Alexander. Besides you haven't even discussed with us when you punished Alpha Lucas, Damien."
Damien replied bringing the hot water in his lips,
" I don't need anyone's permission to punish a rapist."
His words brought another silent war in the goal table. Knowing that conversation was taking different turns, Alexander suggested with a smile,
" Luna! Why don't you visit the museum inside? They have mysterious things to discover. We have a manly talk here."
Viona hesitated before looking at Damien who gave her a nod of approval. Clutching her hand purse, she trotted on her high heels towards the direction of museum leaving the Alphas to discuss on their own.
They stayed quiet until Viona's back dissapared behind the door.
Alexander resumed returning to its concerned voice,
" Damien! Don't be so hard! You know that it's necessary to maintain peace between our packs. Besides what if the vampires come to claim our territory, I am sure that Lucas's pack would never offer any help."
Damien answered taking a mouthful gulp from his drink,
" If I needed their help, I wouldn't have become the Alpha King, Mr.Alexander. If they wish to continue throwing fuss, let them be. I don't care honestly. It was their good luck that I left Alpha Lucas alive."
Vincent barked out angrily,
" How atrocious! "
He continued glaring at Damien's face angrily,
" You don't decide whom to kill in Werewolf realm, Damien. Don't forget your position! "
Damien rebuked sharply,
" I don't forget my motto, Mr.Vincent. As a king, I stick to justice. To my perception of view, Lucas is worthy of being killed off mercilessly."
Vincent once again parted his lips to speak something but Alexander promptly warned shooting him a threatening glare,
" Vincent! Go and have some fresh air. Let us talk alone with Damien. You only invite more troubles."
Vincent felt wronged but thinking twice, a wicked thought flashed across his mind. Thus he compelled the order earnestly and made his way out to the museum inside.
***********
Striding through the little museum wasn't quite boring as Viona expected. This unique side of restaurant fascinated her. She reviewed those paintings again and again but didn't certainly understand that why was everything all about ancient werewolves. Humans didn't prefer beasty creatures like Werewolves who existed in fairytale according to their thoughts. The cruelty of an Alpha's face was so clearly portrayed in the oil painting that Viona felt like they were alive.
She paced through the lane absentmindedly, unware about a certain figure approaching her from back.
" Hello, hotty.", a seducing voice came out from her back as she jerked off in astonishment before staggering backwards. Turning around her body, she saw Vincent smiling at her nastily. His eyes bore evident lust for her and her inner beast growled to rip off those dirty eyes.
Viona stammered feeling little regretted to meet him here alone,
" Mr.Vincent, what are you doing here? You should be in the meeting."
Vincent grinned evily and spoke streching his arms out widely,
" Oh come on! Luna, Damien isn't here. No formalities please! "
Viona's brows crooked questioningly as she stated with confusion,
" What does it to do with Damien? "
Vincent shamelessly chuckled. Without any prior warning, he stepped forward and placed his hand on Viona's buttock. Leaning beside her ears, he whispered in a disgusting voice,
" Oh Luna! You should have understood that you have captured my mind since the time you appeared here. Just one round! Damien won't ever find out if you close off your mind link."
Viona held the urge of spitting on his face. She didn't want to cause anymore trouble for Damien. Her breathing quickened in anger as her voice came out like a growl,
" Take your hands off from me, Mr.Vincent."
Vincent took it as a mere words and gave a wicked smile. His intention didn't go away instead his hand started to crawl towards the valley of her thighs enticing dirty words,
" Such a fiesty woman! I like it, Luna. It will be more fun to play with you."
Viona closed her eyes shut to tame her anger and warned one last time,
" Last time, Mr.Vincent. Take your hands off from me before I loose my mind."
When Vincent was too engrossed in her beauty, he failed to notice that Viona's eyes were radiating lights like a complete devil.
