Ariana stared up at Brian with fear leaping out from her eyes. As a low ranked omega, she was very keen to this certain feeling of getting frightened by an Alpha. But time, things were pretty much different. This was her mate, an Alpha blood.

Brian's nostrils were still snooping around to smell her heavenly smell. Since their mate bond was activated,it was impossible to be not aroused by his mate's smell. Desire started to roll off from his throat and made his thoughts and actions working messily. Ariana protested one last time weakly,

" Let go of me! It's not right! "

Her words only worsened the atmosphere. Brian's wolf was deeply irritated by her stubbornness as they started to stagger back and forth stumbling together,

" You better listen to me now, mate. Don't speak about leaving! We can't be separated! "

Ariana breathed heavily to stable her unsettled emotions and spoke in a stern voice,

" Brian! Calm down! Let's talk! "

Those words worked on Brian magically. A mate could only tame his other half and she was pretty much sure that Brian would listen to her. Breaking off from his embrace, Ariana stated staring deep through his mystical eyes,

" Can you accept this? You are going to an Alpha of this pack soon. Can you accept this fate?"

Brian snapped back to reality from his wild thoughts. Having his human mind back, he started to realize what just happened. Except happiness, he felt another sense of pressure after reconfirming his mate's rank in the werewolf world. Besides she was the Alpha King's adopted sister. Above all, she was an omega who was precisely looked down by other ranked werewolves.

Brian reasoned in a soft voice,

" I understand your fear. But I will sort it out. We can't deny this bond. Even if you decide to reject, we are bound to cross paths at the end."

Ariana sighed helplessly. Her eyes grew deep in worry as she stated raking her fingers through her messy bun,

" I..I just think that your father wouldn't ever accept this bond. How about you break it off from your side? There must be a way."

Brian stressed on his words, taking one step closer to get her closer,

" Don't speak about it anymore. I will certainly find a way after I take over this pack. But till then can you hide it from everyone including... your brother and Viona?"

Ariana understood his concern. Being a powerful Alpha, it wasn't easy for him to accept an omega pack. Even if he agreed to break off the bond, Ariana wouldn't mind that.

She agreed considerably,

" I agree. Whatever decision you make, I will respect that."

A look of surprisement blazed from Brian's eyes who never expected that Ariana would be so ready to break off their bond. It defined that she didn't belong to those chasty women who were dying to sleep with him. His wolf felt proud but at the same time, he was unwilling to let him go.

Brian hummed lowering his head down and murmured,

" I am sorry! I still have to take things slowly because I am not officially taken my position yet."

Ariana assured with a soft smile,

" It doesn't matter. Regardless of that, I still think that we should think of breaking this bond to avoid more troubles."

Brian's face grimaced instantly as his words came out like a growl,

" Let me handle this! You better stop repeating those words."

The evening across the town in Rainford fell down with a stuffy weather. The sky overhead those gigantic trees were gloomy with dark clouds as if mother nature was going to shower its blessing anytime soon.

Viona had finished dressing up herself in a proper way. She wore a full sleeved fork that perfectly covered her enchanting thighs and ended up few inches down from her knees. After eyeing on her outfit one more time, she headed off for the dinning hall in where Damien might be waiting.

Coming down, she saw Damien speaking in his cellphone and Ariana was cleaning the table with a dizzy state. Concerned about her health, Viona inquired coming across the table,

" Ariana, are you feeling well?"

Ariana was jerked out from her dazed state. Afraid that Viona would notify something, she explained shrugging her shoulders off,

" No! What will happen to me? I stationed your books on places, Luna."

Viona hummed with a relived smile and went over to Damien who was still on his phone. Ariana wished from back with a happy smile,

" Have fun, Luna."

Viona smiled back at her awkwardly. She didn't even know how was she going to greet such high ranked people. Marrying an Alpha King was really troublesome.

Damien spoke after finishing his phone call. His lips curled into a smile upon noticing her decent outfit,

" Let's go! I will drive for you today."

Hopping into the car, Viona sat on the front seat whilst Damien occupied the driver seat ready to start the engine. Roads around the Asanson City started to get empty as people here feared to roam around because of recent mysterious murder cases. Creatures like Damien knew very well that who were behind this murders.

Viona stole a glimpse of his attentive while driving his expensive car. His look of seriousness was adorable. Damien was well aware of her attention. Being the King of all Alphas, he was always very observant regarding his surrounding.

He spoke without breaking off his eye contact from the smokey road,

" Am I enchanting to you, Luna?"

His sudden word freaked out of her scarcely. Her eyes quickly shifted on another way and she mumbled with obvious embarrassement,

" No..I mean...I was.. just.. watching you driving.."

Damien hilariously laughed and teased further wanting to see more of her innocent sides,

" Umm..Watch me as long as you want..I am yours anyway.."

The last part of his words brought warmness in her heart. A smile curled up in her lips as she seated comfortably, watching the passing dark trees outside. Damien resumed his talk in a sweet voice,

" You look so beautiful in this blue sky dress."

Viona slightly blushed and urged shyly,

" Focus on driving."

" I can't", Damien responded with a chuckle just to see her blushing and snapped his head outside to see her pinkish cheeks.

Viona wasn't looking at him directly. She watched outside deeply to hide her blushing cheeks. Suddenly Damien's eyes travelled down on her fingers that were left empty.

With a loud sound of car breaking, he parked the car in roadside. Viona turned her head to watch him and saw his burning eyes at her.

Before she could say what was wrong, Damien pulled her up by her shoulders and roared beastly,

" Where is your wedding ring? Did you just take off?"
