Chapter 44: Chapter 44

We all laughed including Jane and Drake. Jake glanced at him, "That will be your loss, and having one lady that you can call yours is way better."

"Says the whipped guy." Mike muttered playfully, and Jake punched his shoulder.

"Ow!" He held onto his shoulder like it really did hurt, and the rest of us all laughed again.

A knock sounded on the door and I stood up to get it as the others watched to see who it was. I opened the door and Greg walked in with Grey as they both exclaimed, "Hey, Max!"

"Hey, Greg and Grey." I replied as I closed the door.

They walked towards the others, Grey looked at them, "Hey, what are you guys doing, playing truth or dare?"

"No, of course not. They're aren't enough girls for that." Sean said as he looked at him with a weird expression.

I walked back towards them as Mike added, "Yeah, all the girls here are taken and truth or dare isn't fun without making out."

"Okay, let's now change the topic to something important." I said as I walked back to where I was sitting beside Jake and sat down.

I glanced at the twins, "You guys will be changing into wolves tonight, so are you coming with us to the river of true mates?"

"Are you talking about what you texted us just now?" Greg asked, looking confused as well as Grey.

"Yes, I texted you as I was telling them since you were a no show." I explained and they looked at each other as if doing some sort of twin telepathy before they looked back at me and Jake.

"No, we're not going." Greg said, and Grey nodded, adding, "Yeah, I would rather enjoy the single life first."

"That's what I said!" Mike exclaimed with a grin, and Grey raised his hand in a high five. Mike slapped it then Greg raised his own hand in a high five and Mike slapped it too.

The whole thing made me laugh, and they all looked at me. Jake smiled then glanced at the twins, "Hope you two aren't in pain anymore."

"Not at all." Greg replied, and Grey said, "I even forgot about all the pain because I'm too excited about tonight!"

He raised his hand in a high five to Greg and he slapped his hand as he let out a whoo! I shook my head as I chuckled again then turned to Jake. "Were these two frat boys or something like that in school?"

"Yep, they still are in the college that they go to." Jake answered with a chuckle.

"Now, this is something that I've never seen before. Frat boys in a gang." I said, feeling very shocked.

Greg and Grey laughed, "Yeah, we get that all the time. Most people don't even believe us when we tell them that we're in a gang."

"I wouldn't either because you just don't act like it." Jane said, and Alex nodded in agreement. Drake kept quiet as well as Shane.

"That's how I like it. Being unsuspecting!" Grey said, narrowing his eyes in a secretive way as they both sat down beside Mike and Alex.

We all laughed at how he was acting. Jake glanced at me and then at his wrist watch as he raised his wrist to check it. He looked at the twins, "So around quarter to sun down and you two are werewolves."

"Yeah, but don't lock us in that room like you did with the others. We wanna roam the house in our true form." Grey said, looking between Jake and I.

"And break Max's stuff? No way." Jake protested as he frowned at him.

Greg shook his head, "No, we won't. You all will be here to prevent anything like that from happening."

Shane looked around the house at the paintings on the wall then looked back at the twins. "Dude, things look expensive. If you have the money to pay her dad back then I'm sure it'll be fine."

Grey pouted and looked at me, "Please, Max. We promise we won't break anything."

"Yeah, you'll all be here." Greg added, also pouting.

I sighed, "Fine, you can shift into werewolves here, but we will all be watching you. Also, Jake and I will command you if we have to as your Alpha so that you won't misbehave."

"Yes!" They both exclaimed as they bumped their fists. Sean started talking with Shane and Mike while Jane started talking with Alex and the twins, but Drake kept quiet.

Jake was still frowning as he stared at the wall, and I glanced at him, "Hey, don't worry, Jake. We'll make sure that they won't make a mess."

He turned to me and his frown washed away. "Yeah, I know. I was thinking of something else."

"Does that involve me?" I asked with a grin. He chuckled as he raised his hand and pinched my cheek.

I batted his hand away, "Hey! Cut it out, and answer the question."

He took his hand away, flashing me his charming smile. "Yes, I was thinking about you and what will happen with us after this road trip."

"Come back here and live happily ever after?"

"You know that is most unlikely because we're in a gang and we're werewolves. Kane won't let us be happy and then there's those teleporting werewolves." Jake said with a sigh.

"I know, but they can't stop us from being happy. We have to be happy 'cause we'll be together, no matter who is after us." I said as I smiled at him.

He grinned as he leaned forward and pressed his lips against my cheek. He pulled back, "You're right, baby doll. We're going to fight through everything being as happy as we can be as long as we have each other."

"Yes, we will, Jake." I replied, still smiling. Jake glanced at the window before raising his wrist and checking his wrist watch. He looked back up at me and then the twins, "Alright, guys. Time's almost up, get ready to change into wolves."

The twins and everyone turned to Jake, and they jumped up from their seats. Greg nodded while Grey grinned, saying, "Yes, let's get this party started!"

Jake stood up as the others chuckled, and I stood up too.

Monday morning, the day that we've all been waiting for to get back at Stephanie and her group of bimbos. Jake and I were standing beside our lockers with Shane, Sean, Mike, Alex, Jane and Drake. We were waiting for the bimbo group to arrive at school so that we will get our revenge.

Other students roamed around the school hallways, mostly around their lockers, waiting for the school bell. This was the right time to get them back when everyone is present to see their reaction, and where we can see everyone's reaction.

Sean's phone beeped and he took it out from him pocket swiftly and checked it. He looked up at us, "They've arrived."

His phone had beeped with a text with one of the students that Jake had text Sean as soon as they see the bimbos arrive. Jake looked at Shane, "Ready?"

Shane pulled out his own phone from his back blue jeans pocket and tapped on it before looking up at Jake, "Yeah, sent."

Jake and I smirked as we looked at the entrance. Our friends also looked at the entrance, and Jake muttered, "Let the show begin."

Stephanie, Abbey, Poppy and Cindy walked through the school's double doors with their heads held up high. But their phones beeped along with everyone in the hallway. They stopped and took out their phones to check the texts as well as the whole student body.

What happened next was so epic that I have to say that revenge is sweet. Stephanie gasped as she held one pink manicured hand to her mouth while her and her clique all looked horrified and shocked. Most of the students looked shocked while the rest looked like they expected it.

They looked at the bimbos with accusing eyes as they whispered and muttered, "Murderers", "They're sick", "I never knew Stephanie was so crazy", "Hailey Moore looked up to Stephanie, but she drugged her to death", "I can't believe this", "Someone needs to report them", "They should be in jail", "Murderer."

Stephanie, Abbey, Cindy and Poppy have been exposed for drugging certain girls to death only because they didn't do as they wanted or made a mistake in doing something for them. Shane texted everyone the pictures from CCTV cameras in Stephanie's house during parties where they drugged them then dragged their bodies far away.

He added, 'Stephanie and her clique aren't who they really are. They're sick murderers that drug girls that they don't like to death.' He listed the names of the girls with the pictures. All in all, they were four girls. They had wanted me to be the fifth, and God knows how many guys they have drugged into sleeping with them.

Stephanie looked furious after her shock wore off, but also embarrassed as her face turned as red as a tomato. She turned around and stomped back out of the school. Poppy who looked embarrassed and shocked turned around to follow her leader. Cindy looked confused, but also horrified.

Guess the drugs and smoking she did that morning wasn't major that she could understand what was going on. She also turned around and followed after Stephanie. Abbey, the supposedly 'smart' one glanced at our crew by our lockers with anger and fear in her eyes. I stared her down, letting her know that they shouldn't dare try anything.

She looked like she was going to cry out of frustration before she turned around and stomped out of the school too. She better be scared because she and Stephanie were at the front of these crimes. And yes, like some other students were saying, they should be arrested and in jail because they actually killed people.

But they did all that before this year when they turned eighteen so even if we sent the proof to the police, they wouldn't arrest them. Just some punishments and some minor juvi time, especially with their rich parents and connections. We would still send it as that should be the right thing to do, but we'll let them suffer and stay in fear of us doing that first.

"D*mn! That was priceless!" Sean said, grinning, and Mike nodded, also grinning, "Too priceless!"

"I should have recorded it!" Shane said with a sigh.

"Yeah, and we would watch it over and over!" Min said, laughing, and the four of them joined him, including Alex.

"I have waited so long to see these bimbos crushed. What in the world took us so long?" Jane said with a large grin.

"I know, right?" Jake said as he chuckled, and I grinned while Drake stayed quiet. Guess he's still not on good terms with Jane.

After Greg and Grey turned into wolves last night, we made sure that they didn't break anything expensive. After that, everyone left, Jane with Drake though they were still not talking and I locked up. Jake and I went back to his place to find his dad back, but he didn't ask us where we were.

We only went upstairs and to our separate rooms to rest after the long day. I had wanted to call Jane and ask her about Drake, just lend her a shoulder to cry, girl to girl. But I decided against it and thought that she probably needed more time to herself first.

The school bell rang at that moment, indicating that it was time for us to get to class. We all looked up at the sound of the bell, and Jake took my hand, "Come on, baby doll. Class calls."

He pulled me through the throng of students that parted ways as we passed, and the rest of our friends walked after us. As we made our way, Cassie suddenly appeared in front of us with her yellow died hair looking dewy. Like she didn't let it finish drying completely.

She grinned at Jake, "Hey, Jake! I know that you did that to Stephanie and her clique, and I am so glad that you did because I need to be in her place. I need other guys and girls to worship me in this school, so thank you for destroying her for me."
