Chapter 39: Chapter 39

Chrystal's pov:

We get everybody settled in and head to the tables so they could eat. Now a lot of our friends are the best warriors of their packs not to mention some witches from Kimmie's coven. Oh this is going to be fun tonight hopefully we do not get caught. I know everyone here will go along with our plans they might even come up with some more solution's to help out.

I wait for granny and dad's warriors leave before I start to explain what is going on and then proceed to tell them about my plans on how to get them safely up the mountain. They all agree they are in and it sounds like fun. Oh yea nothing like doing all this right underneath granny and dad's nose. There is nothing I can do about the moon goddess knowing (aka mom). Somehow I cannot feel like she is in her own way helping me. I guess she is letting her daughter have a little fun for once.

The plan is to celebrate Beltane feast. Now for those who do not know what Beltane is it is a fire festival in paganism. It is a holiday that celebrates springtime and the coming of summer. Which happens to be tonight, I mean how lucky are we right now, now if the rest of the night falls into place we will be even luckier.

I run in the house and tell granny we are going to celebrate Beltane tonight and she say's "okay sounds good." I run back outside and me and Angie head into my studio and start to pick out the music we will need. Some of the others go through the woods and start collecting firewood from trees that have fallen over time. Kimmie and Tabitha run upstairs and get the outfits ready for us. See we will all be in some kind of costume so that is granny or dad or one of his warriors see us they will not recognize us or the four new ones that joined the group.

Everyone is going around excited for tonight. I am between excited and scared at the same time. What if something goes wrong and I lose my love to the eternity of darkness. My heart stops for a minute and Angie puts her hand on my shoulder and tells me everything will work out we have not failed before. She is right and I do have a few more witches here now to help with the spell.

I take a deep breath in and shake my head to get the worries out of my head and start to pick the music out for tonight. I go for Federleid and Walpurgisnacht by Faun to get them through the fog and up the mountain to us. This music will help us get into our own minds and help the guys on their way. Angie picked the song Voodo by Godsmack. She said she wanted to scare them and I started laughing cause that is one wicked song they are going to think we are some cult or something. Then we proceeded with Twilight Zone by Golden Earring, Drop the bomb on me by The Gap Band, Kryptonite by 3 doors down, Our lips are sealed by Go-Go's, I know ladies but this will help with the spell to make sure nothing gets revealed about tonight it will be the spell to silence everyone. Then lastly Tabitha wanted the song Losing my Religion by R.E.M. She loves that song, I like the video.

With the songs picked out and I am sure some of the others will come and pick some out to add to our collection for tonight. We head outside to see how everything is coming along and we see on the table a couple of girls had gone and picked wild flowers and was making head pieces for us so we headed over to help them out. Some of the boy's had gathered up some of the costumes they had brought in case we did celebrate while they were here.

I look around as I work on my head piece and I feel a calm come over me. Something is telling me everything will be okay tonight, I feel like it is my mom helping me out. If it is her helping me maybe I want get in so much trouble if I get caught by granny of dad. I breathe in a sigh and look up at the sky and thank the moon goddess for helping us tonight.

I can tell she is excited about us seeing our mate tonight also. "Kia you are not going to be able to shift tonight there will be too many people that don't know I have a white wolf. So I don't think we should shift" I say to her.

"I know I can still communicate with Dakota thorough our link everything will be fine." With that being said we head in the house through the kitchen and tell granny we are ready for tonight. She tells us to go upstairs and get cleaned up dinner is almost ready and she will need help bringing everything out. We all head upstairs to get cleaned up. I cannot wait to see what the girls laid out for me.

I get into my room and there on my bed is my outfit. They picked me out black skinny jeans with a black halter top. Then a half skirt that went to the ground, it wraps around my waist but only covers the back part of me. Then I see the combat boots on the floor don't think I will be able to dance in them but I figure I will go bare footed and if I need them I will have them.

I go into my bathroom and strip. I take a quick shower and get out and head back to my room to get dressed. I can feel my heart racing just thinking about meeting my mate tonight. I cannot stop thinking if he knows we are mates or is he coming up here to yell at me or tell on me. Oh moon goddess I hope he is not mad at me and this makes him dislike me for using magic on him.

I am sitting at my vanity putting my hair in a long braid when the girls come in.
