"Please I know you heard everything but Dan Allah (because of God)don't allow others to hear us. In Sha Allah (by God's will) everything will go as planned, so don't worry" Hajiya Kaltumi said holding Umma in place so she will not fall down
"I don't think that's the best solution, since they've cancel the wedding let's just tell them. It's okay but I don't want my daughter to get married to someone she don't love. Am sorry for saying this, I know you had a good intentions towards us but what if they both don't come to like each other?" Umma asked tears streaming down her cheek, she used her hand to wioe it off. Umma was trying her possible best not to break down because she knows how her daughter have fallen hard for Bashir, she wished she can do something but she's powerless
"They will come to love each other I promised, and if they don't we can annulment the wedding, but don't let them get to you. I have this feeling someone is behind this if not how can the wedding be cancel a minute for the knot to be tied" Hajiya Kaltumi tried to reason
"But what if"
"Please think negative now, forget about what if. We can think about that later but for now we have to save our selves from this humiliation they are trying to caused for us"
"Hummmm, thank you Hajiya. I don't know the words to used to thank you"
"We will talk about that later but right now I need to call Daddy, to inform him what's going on, since he has to know before I take decision on both the children"
"I don't think he will allow that" Umma said loosing hope, she don't want her daughter to be disgrace but she vow to look for the reason the wedding was nullified. She's tired of being a pushover
"Don't worry, I know he won't kick against it, Cox we have been disturbing them to bring a wife,which they both didn't listen to us"
"If you say so" thus they ambled back to the room where Gogo, Mamman Khady and Hajiya Kande were seating

Tehzeeb had been checking her phone up and down waiting for Bashir's call or message because people have start coming to congratulate her which only means the knot had been tied. They're now husband and wife. But she's not happy because he didn't call nor text her "Amarya why is your face like that? It's your day please put some smile on your face" Khady said looking at Tehzeeb since it's the two of them in the room
"He didn't text nor call me" Tehzeeb said her eyes moist already
"I beg you in the name of Allah don't cry. You will ruin your makeup. And who knows maybe his trying to call you and the network is bad" Khady reason
"But he should have texted me" Tehzeeb complain
"You know the network is not always good" Khady tries to make her see reason but Tehzeeb was not ready to listen which she started crying
"Innalillahi Tehzeeb what are you doing to yourself?" Khady asked worriedly "I beg you to stop crying,what will you tell people if they see you crying?" Khady asked which Tehzeeb didn't answer "please wipe your tears, moreover you can call or text him if he has not since you're free to do that" and that's when Tehzeeb wipe her tears before she dialed Bashir number but he didn't pick
"His not picking" she complained which made Khady to sighed
"You can text him you know. I don't even know what's wrong with you, any small thing you have started crying. If your tears finished don't come to me asking for more" Khady said trying to lighten the mood
"I won't" and she texted Bashir before she drops her phone to perfume ablution to give thanks to her Lord for making her witnessing this day in her life

Bashir couldn't go to the masjid nor could he stand up from his position since his father break the news of nullifying the wedding. He was to weak to talk, even the tears we're not coming out again. Mamah and Aisha could not stand up from there position as well because of what there brother was going through. His phone rings but he didn't check it. Aisha picked the phone but immediately she saw the name of the caller on the screen her hands were shaking that she raised her head to look at Mamah who noticed the changes in her sister hand. Mamah rasised her eyebrows asking her what, which Aisha turned the phone and show her the screen to see who was calling, she bulge her eyes out but she couldn't talk, they did not want him to know but they were to late Cox the phone rings again
"Pass me that phone please" Bashir said weakly which Aisha was reluctant to him
"Just forget about the call Ya Bashir. The person can wait" Aisha tried to divert his attention
"Just bring it, there's nothing left for me" and Aisha passed the phone to him but before he collect it the call had ended. He was about to drop the phone when a message comes in which he open it seeing the name. With shaking hands he unlocyk the phone immediately and read the message goes "sweetie hope you're fine, have been expecting your call or text message but got none, so I decided to call but you're not picking, which I was left with no option than to text you. Am happy because finally We're one Alhamdulillah. All praise to Allah for making us to witness this day, I can't tell you how happy I am to be finally yours. When you're free call or text me back. I Love You My Bash, Rabin Raina muah the kiss is for my love to you. Bye my Hubby" and Bashir phone slip through his hand and break into pieces. He stand up abruptly which made Aisha and Mamah to stand up too seeing there brother with smile on his face
"I knew it" Bashir said happily
"Knew what?" Mamah asked
"That Pa was just joking" Bashir replied adjusting his clothes
"Joking?" Aisha asked not believing what his brother said
"Yes. My lady just texted me. Here" he said picking the broken phone to show them the message "read it and see" he hand over the phone to them though the phone was broken it's still functioning. Aisha and Mamah read the message together before they looked at each other not believing a single thing about it, because they know there father very well not to joke with such things. They were about to talked when Amma came in
"Bashir am sorry, but you have to forget about Tehzeeb. They continued with the marriage" before Amma could continue Bashir interrupted her
"I know Amma, she texted me. Pa was just joking but the knot had been tied between me and her. Finally am a married man now. Your dream have come through" Bashir said hugging Amma
"What are you talking about?" Amma asked confused which Mamah immediately hand the phone to her"Innalillahi wa'innailaihir raji'un. Ya Allah am doomed. Tehzeeb didn't know it's not you she's getting married to" Amma said which made all of them to face her looking at her like an alien
"What did you mean?" Bashir asked confused
"That's what I came to tell you. The wedding took place but you're not the husband and Tehzeeb didn't know that's why she texted you" Amma said
"What but how comes?, who told you?" Aisha asked because Bashir was just staring at Amma
"Uncle B did, he went to the wedding despite your Pa nullifying the wedding, he said he did not believe what your Pa said so he will go and confirm by himself, thus he went and met them in the process of tieing the knot, which he attended and wished them well before he comes back to inform me"
"But who is the husband?" Mamah asked
"I don't know, because I didn't asked him" Amma replied and turned to talk to Bashir but instead she shouted seeing son lifeless body on the ground

Tehzeeb have been waiting for Bashir call or message but got none "you're worrying yourself for nothing. Maybe he left his phone at home" Khady said seeing how Tehzeeb was disturb
"Are you sure? I don't seem to believe that, what if something had happened and we don't know?"
"I beg you in the name of Allah stop saying something like this on your wedding day. You know what let me go and check" and Khady left leaving Tehzeeb all alone
Khady went and met there mother's talking together with Hadiza who's face was wet with tears. "Deedee what happened to you?" Khady asked making her presence known, which Hadiza quickly wipe the tears from her face
"Nothing, something entered my eyes" she lied
"I don't believe that, and why are you all looking" Khady said looking at them all trying to look for the perfect words to use to describe there face "like someone that is mourning the death" she said finally which made them to laugh awkwardly including her mom. She looked at them very well "know can someone tell me what is wrong, because I think you all are hiding something" she said looking at them one after the other, none of them speaks up. "For God sake the tension is killing me what happened?" Khady said getting irritated already because she's the type that get angry when she asked question and got no answer "Mama Umma what happened?" She asked the two people she knows she can ask directly. Her mom sighed before she look at the rest which they nod there head in approval hence she told her everything and Khady collapsed tears glistening her eyes " No it's not possible, Bashir won't do that to Tehzeeb I swear to God. I need to call him" Khady said not in her right state of mind looking for her phone but could not find it, she was about to stand up but could not because she's too weak to hold herself "please someone should tell me it's a joke"
"Will we joke with something like this? Get a hold of your self because we don't want Tehzeeb to find out. She will find out after being convey to her husband house, where they will meet" her mother said
"But" Khady tries to talk
"Don't, and enter that toilet, wash your face and act normal. Don't try me" her mother said showing her the way to the toilet. She adjusted herself before plastering a fake smile on her face and walk out to Tehzeeb place
"It's took you long enough. I was about to come and call you" Tehzeeb said immediately Khady step inside the room
"Gosh you won't believe what almost happened to me"
"Believe what?" Tehzeeb asked looking at her
"Hummm, my monthly salary try to ruin my day" Khady said
"Are you serious but you were find when you left here? And I don't think it's time yet"
"Well you can say so, time changes. Well people were too much and I sat down to wait before I get a chance with Bashir but I felt damp which I quickly rush to Umma's toilet" Khady said not believing herself of saying such a lie. She hate it that she sucks at lieing, she just hoped Tehzeeb believed her
"Sorry, hope you have changed?" Tehzeeb asked not noticing anything because her mind was clouded with Bashir thought that's why she couldn't know Khady was lieing
"Yes" Khady reply sensing that Tehzeeb mind was not with her
Tehzeeb was about to be convey to her matrimonial home but she was crying holding onto Umma tightly "Umma please don't allow them to take me away from you" she said Umma could not say anything because she pity her daughter, if she finds out that it's not Bashir she's getting married to how will she react, and that brought tears to her eyes. Mama Khady had to interfere before Tehzeeb could let her mother go. She was convey to her house but people left immediately. Khady did not even enter inside because she knows if she does then no doubt they will cry which will make her to spill the beans
Tehzeeb cried to her heart content, but when she heard the door to the parlour being open she covered her face very well expecting Bashir to come in but he didn't, and she slept of without knowing. She wake up in the morning and prayed and ambled to the parlour because she thought she's alone in the house.
Tehzeeb entered the parlour and saw a figure on the chair which she walked close because by mare appearance she could tell he has not prayed, so she decided to wake him, which she did "sweetie get up and pray, time is going" the person groaned and turned which Tehzeeb screamed "Arghhhhhhh" and he jack up
"You" the person said pointing at her not believing what his seeing
"What the hell do you think are you doing in my room Ibrahim?" Tehzeeb shouted frustrated
"Your room?" Ibrahim asked confused
