Chapter 79: Chapter 79

The rest of the J-Stars sat under the shade, waiting for Jake. The yellow colored bulb shone, keeping the darkness at bay. “I will miss you guys.” Julia said in her cheerful voice. Jake and Aria walked towards them. Jayson had already texted him their location earlier on. As they got to their place, they were so pleased that Jake was alright. But then the person that stood next to him held suspicion. They darted their gazes between, questioning them for a fitting reply. “Well, she is my step sister.” Jake announced with a satisfied glint in his eyes. They all stared at him, surprised. “Wait, isn't she the nerd?...” Jeremy was still talking when Jake scowled angrily at him. He clasped his lips shut and looked away. Jayson kept clearing his throat, gaining everyone's attention. Jace rasped. “Will you stop this?” He asked. Jayson flashed Jace a glare with his eyes still on his sister's waist. Julia was blushing hard.

Jeremy snickered. “Stop this over protective mode of yours. As if you won't date someone else's sister.” Jake teased. Jayson averted his gaze and turned to look at Jake. “Really? You have a sister now. Let's see how it goes.” Jayson muttered.

“Well, no one will dare look at Aria.” He said and glanced at the two playboys that were sitting with them. He saw that Jeremy was going through his phone while Jace being Jace, sat there, wetting his lips with his tongue, salivating her. Aria became self-conscious under his gaze. Jake craned his neck a bit and gave Jace a knock on his head. “Ouch.” Jace winced out, not expecting it. He hissed out angrily and frowned at Jake. “Were your lips dry?” Jake asked tauntingly. The rest laughed out heartily. “Yes.” Jace replied sharply, rubbing the place.

“Hey, peeps. Time to sleep.” Jasper alerted them as he clapped his hands. They all scoffed and grumbled as they stood up. The ladies went to their work while the J-Stars went to theirs.

**Next Morning**

She stood before the board with her eyes digging through the paper that was placed there. She was searching for her name. She wanted to see her overall grade. As she got to the letter W since her name started with a W and also the names were arranged according to the alphabetical letters of their surname. She saw her name and narrowed her eyes on it to take a look on her grade. Just as she was about to see it…

Grrrr! Grrrr! Grrrr!

The alarm rang continuously. Ellie stretched her hands out to turn it off but unfortunately it fell down with a loud thud making Elsa jerk up instantly. She held her chest to regulate her breathing. Ellie pushed her body up and laid her head tiredly on the headboard. She slowly bent down and picked the alarm, even though she was still on the bed.

Then she remember she was having a dream. “Stupid.” She muttered, hitting her head mentally. Elsa climbed down from the bed and legs went frozen as they came in contact with the cold floor. She winced silently and forced herself up. She yawned out and stretched out her stiff bones. She slowly glanced at Ellie who was still sleeping. There has not been any sort of discussion between them ever since their granny had played the favoritism. Ellie felt like she should just be on her own. She has suffered for far too long. She definitely don’t think she could take anymore. Elsa shook her off any sleep that still remained. She strode to the bathroom and closed the door.

After Elsa was done bathing, Ellie had hers. They wore their uniforms and other necessary clothing.

Hair combed- checked

Clothes tucked properly- checked

Well polished shoes- checked

Without waiting for each other, they both hopped out of the room and walked out of the dorm.

Other students could be seen moving to the announcement block. Well, nervousness, anxiety, and fear reeked out from them. Fear of failure. Their minds were based on the results that even the most talkative of them said no words. They all walked to walked into the announcement hall.

“Good day, prestigious Shining Stars.” The vice principal spoke up with a glint in her eyes and a smile on her lips. “Good day.” The students replied. Not all. “As you all know, we have come to end of her examination and results will be released today and not to forget you all will be leaving the school premises this noon. I want to say I am really proud of you. You all made me proud. Your examination results are excellent. The committee had decided that there would not be an end of the year party.” She was still talking when she was cut off by the growing murmuring of the students. “What?!” They all exclaimed. They had all be looking forward to it. Like really?

She exhaled deeply, trying to keep her anger at bay. “We have had too many breaks this session and we will love to give you a break.” She announced and the murmur died down. Not like they were used to it anyways. Their end of the year party was always like some formal party. Wearing suits and flashy gowns. Elsa and Ellie were not disturbed at all. Not like they would have attended anyways. “Your results have been pasted, you can go check it out.” She announced and dismissed them. Students started taking slow strides like they were not eager to see their even though the vice principal has given a convincing talk, they still doubted themselves. Maybe the vice principal was speaking for the majority.

Elsa and Ellie walked towards their class and saw their results on their tables respectively. Ellie's palm had become sweaty that she even reduced the way she walked. Jake saw this and walked towards her table. He took her results and opened. She gasped and implored him with her eyes. Jake grinned and went to hug her. She did not know what he meant.

“A.” Was he all muttered before handling her results sheet to her. She opened it and beamed with her teeth showing. Elsa opened hers and was surprised to see it was an A grade. All for the best.

They heard someone cry from the class. Everyone who were busy discussing their grades turned towards the place and saw Shawna run out of the class with Tessy. Crystal and Betty shook their heads and walked towards Ellie. “So…” Crystal trailed off. “It’s an A.” Ellie announced excitedly.

“Wow, congrats babe.” Betty said and Ellie smiled at her in appreciation.
