“Okay, now. I think you need to explain to me everything you did in the locker hall today. What was that all about?” Ellie asked as soon as she entered their room with a frown on her face.

“At least pull off your clothes and have a cold bath before interrogating me.” Elsa said as she sat down. Ellie only gazed at her without moving.

“I understand if you want to keep your relationship secret but at least you should not have spoken to him that way.” Ellie continued talking.

Elsa looked at her and asked, “And what relationship are you talking about?”

“You and Christian, ain’t you guys dating anymore?” Ellie asked and walked towards her. Elsa only stared at her without replying.

“And yes by the way, earlier this morning I saw you smiling at Crystal.” Elsa said, evading the question Ellie had asked her.

“Best way to evade a question. Way to go.” Ellie hissed out and applauded her.

“I asked a question?” Elsa said.

“I asked you first.” Ellie said in return. Elsa released a snort and laid on the bed.

“Elsa, what is wrong with you?” Ellie asked. “I don’t seem to understand you anymore. Like you have gotten… complicated.”

Elsa sat up and looked at her. “You know what? Leave me the fvck alone. Let me do whatever I want with my life and you, with your life.”

“I should watch you ruin your life?, is that what you mean?” Ellie asked.

“Unbelievable! Fantastic. Just fantastic.” She remarked and left for the bathroom without waiting for Elsa to talk. Elsa shrugged and laid back on the bed.

“Hey, man. Welcome to our dorm.” Mark greeted Christian as he settled down.

“Thank you.” Christian replied without a hint of acknowledgement. Mark looked at him and scoffed.

“What's up? What’s with the gruff reply?” He asked.

“You know what? We are just roommates. Don’t try to make friends with me. I don’t do friends like you.” He said and went into his room.

“Don’t know why I was sent here.” Christian mumbled. Mark just stood there gobsmacked.

“Hey, do you think you are the only rich kid here?” Mark asked as he entered the room.

“Don’t tell we are sleeping in the same room?” Christian asked.

“I think it is quite obvious.” Mark shrugged. Christian sneered at him and continued unpacking his clothes.

“This school is filled with so many students from wealthy families. Even I, myself, I am the sole heir of my father's properties so don’t you ever use that voice on me.” Mark clarified. Christian gave him a smug look before turning on his heels towards the bathroom. He slammed the door shut to his face.

“You…” Mark yelled angrily with his hands shaking in anger.

**In the J-Stars dormitory**

“Who do you think that new guy is?” Jake asked.

“A new student —” Jake faced Jeremy. “— I said the guy is a new student apparently.” Jeremy shrugged. Jace started laughing.

“Stupid question.”

“And why do you care?” Jasper asked.

“He cares because these set of twins already immediately captured his attention, even before Shawna did.” Jeremy teased.

“To be honest with you, were you charmed by them?, I mean, You and Jayson are always protecting and defending them. What attracted you towards them?” He asked.

“And how am I supposed to answer that?” Jake replied. “ You know what I am sleepy. Goodnight.” He muttered and walked to his room.

Jayson was standing on the balcony of his room. He turned back as soon as he heard someone open the door and came in.

“Jake?” He questioned.

“Yes, it is me.” Jake yawned and slumped on his bed.

“Wish I was Jasper, sleeping alone in a room is the best.” He mumbled as he rolled over on his back.

“At least we are lucky to have a little space like a sitting room. Other dorms are not as privileged as we are.” Jayson said.

“Yeah, like Ellie's dorm.” With that Jayson walked back into the room.

“I know who that guy is.” He finally said. Jake sprang up immediately.

“You know him?” He asked, out of disbelief.

“Yeah, I once saw him at a meeting when I followed my dad to a particular company some time.” He said.

“I don’t really know him that much. But —” Jake looked up to him.

“I remembered him, vaguely. The memory isn't that clear but he was very outspoken, business-like.”

“Is he the owner of the company?” Jake asked.

“Nope. His mom owns and manages it. I guess since he was still at home, he helped her.

“Ohhh, now I remember. He is the new player that would be filling in for Mark.” Jake said.

“I think so.”Jayson said and pursed his lips.

“W-What do you think is his relationship with Elsa?” Jayson asked carefully.

“Don’t know.” Jake replied simply and laid back on the bed.

“I am so tired today. Please I want to sleep.” Jake begged Jayson. “Am I holding you?”

Jake already dozed off.

“You know when people insult the female gender, I don’t think they are wrong.” Tessy spoke up and everyone turned towards her with confusion written all over their faces.

“I mean, take a look at these set of twins—” With that said, everyone turned back to what they were doing. All except Shawna who was busy typing away on her phone.

“— they managed to charm the J-Stars and now… the new student. Don’t you think it is suspicious?” She asked.

“Madam detective. The only honorable and hardworking detective, known and popular in the one and only Shining Stars High. I salute you.” Betty said, making a gesture of salutation. Tessy looked at her and scoffed.

“Tessy, I wonder what your problem is with these girls. You keep stressing yourself on matters that has nothing. I mean like absolutely nothing to do with you.” Crystal asserted.

“You know what? If this conversation is all about them. I won't be participating.” She uttered in a surrendering manner and left the study room for them.

“I was not talking to you either. Special Advisor.” Tessy said with scorn.

“But Tessy, don’t you think..”

“Please.” She shunned Betty with her hands raised up. “Continue reading.”

Betty clamped her mouth shut and shook her head in dismay. She glanced over at Shawna and saw her smiling at her phone.

She heaved a sigh and started skimming through pages of her textbook.
