"Alissa!" I heard Trevas call me but I ignored him and continued to follow that woman. I can't be wrong. It’s here.

“Alissa! Wait! ” The woman stopped walking and turned in my direction because of the strength of Trevas' shout and that's when I saw the woman's face up close.

"Sorry, You just look like my mother" I sighed before staring at the woman's face again. How does he look like mama?

"Psyche?" I was stunned when I heard what Trevas said. I turned to her and saw that she was looking at the woman who looked like my mother. Did he just call her Psyche?

Instead of answering, the woman just smiled.

“You’re Psyche, I’m sure of it. I saw one of your portraits in the museum in Beifang ”Trevas said but the woman's grin widened even more before she nodded. “Let me guess, you’re Trevas?”

Trevas nodded. “You look just like Freya”

I noticed that Trevas was statuesque on the stand. That’s right, Psyche turned out to be Freya’s last roommate a few years ago before they both suddenly disappeared. I was about to ask Psyche about that but suddenly I heard a familiar voice.

"Psyche, the- is ready" I turned to the source of the voice and there I saw Luke and Lady Mara.

"What are you doing here?" Luke asked as our eyes met. I rested deep inside me because I felt nothing else when our eyes met.

Trevas stepped forward and held my arm before his eyes narrowed at Luke. “We’re the representative from the Beifang, shouldn’t you know about that? YOUR HIGHNESS? ”

Luke didn't speak immediately and Trevas and I looked around before looking at Trevas' hand holding my arm.

"That old fool" Luke whispered so I frowned. why doesn't Luke know that we are the ones king hermes wants to be Beifang's representative for the Threekingdom alliance?

“Care to introduce us to this- lovely lady, Luke?” Psyche asked Luke, not taking his eyes off me as if he was interested in me.

“Wait, you don’t know me?”

“Do I have to know you?” I frowned. I was so sure that Psyche was Anna but now, I'm not sure anymore.

"Alissa Kno-"

"We have to go Psyche" Luke interrupted what I was saying so Psyche slowly turned to him before he smiled.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Psyche asked him with a laugh.

"It's ready" I noticed Psyche's face was suddenly serious when she heard what Luke said. He nodded before starting to walk.

"Let's go then"

"Wait-" I called so Psyche stopped walking and turned to me. I wanted to ask him a lot but I noticed boredom in his eyes so I suddenly doubted. he seems to be in a hurry.

"Let's meet again"

"I'm sure we will" he said before continuing to walk again. I gasped, the many questions on my mind. Who is Psyche? If she is not Anna, then why does Anna also call herself goddess of butterflies? And why does Psyche look like mama?

"Come on, I'm hungry" my mind wandered when I heard Lina's voice that looked like she was just good at CR. He was surprised that Trevas looked at us when we couldn't speak right away.

Three days passed quickly and the first day of the grand ball arrived but my questions were still unanswered. Ever since I first saw Psyche we have never crossed paths again even though we often wander around the shopping district.

"Maybe we'll see him at the palace later" I nodded at what Trevas said.

We are now in the carriage sent by the palace to pick us up. Trevas and I stood side by side while Lina was in front of us, looking down and looking out the window.

We arrived at the palace just in time, not late but not early either so there were many carriages lined up for inspection before entering the palace. I'm sure we'll be late because the line of carriages is still long but I was shocked when instead of lining up, the ones we were riding in just went straight in and the royal guards didn't stop us.

"It's really different to be a princess of the first rank" Lina giggled as she looked at the long line of carriages we just passed.

"Prince Trevas, Princess Lina and Princess Alissa of the first rank, please follow me" said a royal servant to us and he took us to the palace hall of the Bauxacel palace. In fact, I have been to this palace many times and I have memorized the ins and outs of it because I grew up with Luke and one of our playgrounds is the palace.

"The Representative from the kingdom of Beifang has arrived" I heard the announcement of one of the royal guards when we arrived at the door of the palace hall. It is a tradition in Bauxacel that whenever foreigners come to a party, they announce it, so as soon as Trevas and Lina and I entered, everyone was looking at us and the others were whispering.

"It's the handsome devil prince" a woman's whisper hit my ear so I turned to her.

The two of us caught sight of each other and frowned at the same time. This woman's face looked familiar. I thought hard about where I first saw him but before I could remember Trevas took me by the hand and walked towards the front of the palace hall. Lina followed behind us.

“That’s him? The famous ‘The devil’? Isn’t he too handsome to be called a demon? ”

"Who's the other one?"

“I can’t remember her name, something like lani or lina”

“Don’t worry, I don’t care about other women. Just you ”he said seriously so I suddenly smiled again and I ignored the whispers.

"Is it just me or does Princess Alissa seem familiar?"

“You noticed it too? I wonder… ”

“Princess Alissa… Even her name sounds familiar”

I focused my attention on the walk and ignored the whispering whisper. I glanced at the eight seats in front.

The two seats in the middle have a high backrest which is a symbol of high position in the kingdom so the king is sitting on one there. To her left was supposed to be the queen of Bauxacel or Luke's mother but she died giving birth to Luke and the king never remarried so that seat remained vacant until now.

To the right of the king was Luke sitting and still looking down but he was sitting up straight when he saw us walking closer.

I know it is a great sin to look down on the king or any member of the royal family but I cannot help myself especially when we are only a few steps away from each other. I go back to remembering the events at Plaza De Rinos almost a year ago. The shouting and commotion that had taken place that day and the appearance of papa's corpse came back to me as if it had only happened yesterday.

Trevas and Lina and I bowed together in respect even against my will.

“Trevas Beifang, crown prince of Bauxacel. Lina Lexis, and Alissa knoxx, princess of the first rank. Welcome to the kingdom of Bauxacel ”greeted the king as if Lina and I weren't from here before.

The whispers started again but Trevas and I just walked to the three seats to the left of the vacant seat that was for the queen. These three seats are actually reserved for us the representative of Beifang while the two vacant seats next to Luke are for the representative from Firlame but it looks like they won't be able to arrive yet because the kingdom of Firlame is also far away compared to Beifangjust a few hours drive from here.
