"You didn't tell me that Vivian is also a winter demon" I said to Trevas who was currently stretching his arms in front of me to help me stand up. "That's impossible," Trevas said. "I grew up on powder and I'm sure there's no trace of dark magic in her blood" he replied but I couldn't answer when Vivian suddenly shouted as if writhing in pain.

She was caught in his senses as she screamed in her horrible voice.

"Get the f*ck out of my head!" He shouted, making me frown.

"Lieutenant Jared" Trevas called Lieutenant Jared so he quickly walked towards us and saluted Trevas.

"Take the people to a safe place and evacuate the people living near this place, it looks like there will be a fight here"

Lieutenant Jared nodded before running away, presumably to follow Trevas's orders.

"Sergeant Min, Send a message to the palace about what's happening here and send for a back-up" Trevas even ordered another general he led but I didn't quite understand what he was saying because I was distracted when I saw Vivian slowly stood up.

I was preparing to attack but Trevas suddenly grabbed me by the arm so I turned to him.

"We will talk later"

I nodded at him before releasing the wing behind me and I saw him transform.

"Be careful" he said in his scary voice before quickly disappearing into the shadow created by the nearby pole.

Trevas suddenly appeared behind Vivian and was about to attack when suddenly black creatures appeared from Vivian's stand just like how a winter demon's powers works.

Because of those black creatures that covered their faces with a hood, Vivian was not hit by Trevas' attack but it hit those creatures.

Vivian slowly turned in Trevas' direction but instead of attacking her she suddenly disappeared and appeared in front of me. My eyes widened because of that and before I could react Vivian pulled out a scythe and waved it in my direction.

I tried to avoid that leftover but the scythe still hit my arm and it caused a big wound and blood flowed from there.

I was so bitten on the lip because of the pain I felt in that attack I was suddenly horrified to see Vivian smiling at me but somehow, I knew it wasn’t Vivian in front of me now.

"Anna, I know you're there" Vivian whispered in her horrible voice and stepped closer to me but just a few steps later Trevas suddenly appeared between us and cast a black circle in front of her and from there came out the black magic that iskicked Vivian a few meters away.

Vivian's back hit the post due to the force of the impact of Trevas' shot and the post was immediately crushed and thick smoke covered Vivian's seat.

‘Anna what the f*ck was that?’ I asked but like before, Anna still didn’t answer.

"Stay here, I'll fight her my own" I just nodded at what Trevas said because I also don't want to fight Vivian who seems to be possessed by some kind of spirit that is much more powerful than me.

“You will fight me on your own?” Trevas turned to us at the same time when we heard Vivian's scary voice like Trevas's. "You're now a grown up Trevas, a long time has passed"

"Who are you?" Trevas asked and even I wanted to know who really was the spirit that had merged with Vivian and I asked that what I thought was wrong but instead of answering he just smiled.

“Are you my mother?” Trevas asked hesitantly but the one who was attached to Vivian's body still didn't answer.

"Freya?" I turned to the speaker and saw king henrick slowly walking towards us while staring intently at Vivian.

The smirk on Vivian's lips did not disappear even when we were surrounded by the royal guards who were with king henrick.

“Look like I’ve lost”

"Freya, let's-"

"Shut up, I'm not talking to you" Vivian interrupted what king henrick was saying. "You're all saved from now, but to me the soul of the woman who owns this body"

After he said that his hair and eyes gradually returned to their former black color before he knelt on the floor. Gradually, the black smoke disappeared around Vivian and sank to the floor. the same happened to the black creatures who were opposed by other royal guards and generals.

After all that, things changed for the better.

Vivian was subjected to a thorough trial but there was no need for a trial because Vivian admitted everything that surprised not only the people of Beifang but also the people of Firlame who are currently staying in this kingdom.

I grabbed my arm because of Lina's question. Until now, my arm is still bandaged because of the wound I received on Vivian's scythe and it still doesn't heal because it's too deep.

"I'm not talking about your wound" said Lina so I turned to her. Our eyesight was right before I gasped.

I know he's not referring to my wound. He doesn’t ask if I’m ok Physically but if I’m ok emotionally.

"I'll be Ok" I replied before smiling at him.

"Miss Alissa, Miss Lina" Lina and I turned to one of the servants in the courtyard. He bowed to us before speaking.

"His highness has just arrived" after he said no we could already see Trevas and Lieutenant Jared walking towards us.

Lina stood up and greeted them. I saw him say something to Trevas before Lieutenant Jared was pulled away who quietly followed him.

Trevas walked closer to me and I couldn't help but feel my chest pounding especially when he ordered the servants to leave first and leave us alone.

Trevas sat down in front of me before pouring tea into the cup. I just bent down and looked at my hand resting on the table because I didn’t know what to say to him.
