Chapter 13: Chapter 13

Chapter 12

I noticed that Trevas suddenly closed his eyes and frowned as if he was in great pain but he didn't say a word so I just continued.

I felt a pain in my forehead and my vision was blurred and I think I was just given up but fortunately Anna said I could stop so I slowly walked away from Trevas.

I was holding on to the wall when I suddenly felt dizzy but you also disappeared immediately. I turned my gaze back to Trevas and there I realized that the blue light on his chest was still not disappearing and it was gradually spreading to all parts of his body.

I could almost close my eyes because of the excessive light of the light and when the light completely enveloped Trevas' body, it also suddenly disappeared as if nothing had happened. It was as if the light we had seen before was just an illusion.

"Is it over?" Lina asked, watching us at the door earlier.

Before I could answer, Trevas suddenly bowed down and vomited but this time it wasn't blood. It was black but it was enveloped in blue light but as happened with the light before it also gradually disappeared and all that was left on the floor was the black liquid.

"Eew" Lina whispered as she stared at the black liquid on the floor.

Trevas leaned back in his chair before Lina looked at us breathlessly. He was very sweaty and his hair was wet with sweat.

"Clean that up" Lina continued but I immediately hit her on the arm.

"What?" He asked me. "He should clean that, I'm just always cleaning this hut"

He was about to hit Lina again when Trevas suddenly laughed, which made Lina and I turn to him at the same time.

"No need" he said before arranging a seat. "You won't stay here anymore, I'll bring you to the palace"

Third Person's Pov

"Is he still alive?" A woman asked Alastor.

They are now facing each other and sitting on two opposite sofas. There was a small coffee table between the woman and Alastor where two cups of tea were served.

They are in a big room now. The ceiling is high so the windows with fancy curtains also rise. Beautiful carpet also covers the floor, which is made of expensive animal skins.

When you first look at the room, you can tell that every item is expensive and only one place can afford expensive items. The palace.

Alastor nodded. "Yes, mother"

Vivian slapped the cup she was holding on the coffee table in front of her causing it to break. Fortunately, the tea was empty so he avoided falling.

"It's really hard to kill that Trevas flicker" Vivian said before being grabbed by his penis and leaned on the sofa.

"Why don't we just kill him directly? Why do we have to poison him?" Alastor asked his mother.

"Do you know what kind of poison we gave him?" Vivian asked.

"Fire blossom poison" Alastor replied. He knew very well the name of that poison because he himself had been putting it in Trevas ’drink over the years.

"Exactly, the fire blossom poison we gave him was a very strong poison. When a person drank it, it would only take him a few minutes to die if he could not be treated."

Alastor's eyes widened and he looked at his mother in surprise. "Then panong—"

"Is he still alive?" Vivian cuts to what Alastor is saying.

Alastor nodded. He wants to know how Trevas is still alive, after all, they have been poisoning him with fire blossom poison for several years.

Vivian laughed but there was a look of irritation on her face. "He was not much affected by the poison because he is not human ... He is a demon"

Alastor is used to his mother calling Trevas, his eldest brother, a demon, but until now he still doesn't fully understand why.

Alastor and Vivian looked at the door at the same time when they heard three knocks in a row followed by a soft voice.

"Your majesty (Queen), Your highness (Prince), the meeting in the palace hall is about to begin"

Vivian and Alastor's eyes met before they both nodded.

"We'll be next" Vivian said before turning her attention to Alastor and smiling at him.

"This time, we need to remove Trevas' crown prince status so that you can be the heir to the throne"

Vivian stood up and ironed her skirt even though it was not dirty before she walked out of the room and behind her was Alastor with a tail.

When they arrived at the palace hall for the meeting there were already almost all the generals and prime ministers of the kingdom who were helping to run the beifang kingdom.

Vivian sat in her seat on the right seat next to the king while Alastor sat on the left which was shrugged by those who saw it.

The seat to the left of the king is reserved for the crown prince Trevas so Alastor has no right to sit there but because almost everyone is more in favor of Alastor being the crown prince, no one spoke to reprimand Alastor.

A few minutes passed and finally the king arrived who was the only one waiting before the meeting started.

The king's body was large and his stances were strong. His serious face and his evil looks were also frightening so the whole room immediately fell silent when he entered.

At once everyone stood up and bowed in the direction of the king. He walked to his seat but was also suddenly stopped when he noticed that someone was sitting in Trevas' chair that was often empty. He frowned and stared at Alastor who was currently bowing to him in respect.

Alastor could feel the stare of his frightening father the king so suddenly his knees shook and he had to cling to the table to support himself.

The king noticed Alastor's every move but he didn't say a word and just sat in his chair. "Rise"

At the same time we all went straight again before the king sat down.

The meeting began and problems, complaints and plans for the benefit of the whole kingdom were discussed. They also discussed the threat of barbarians in the western part of the kingdom who continue to persecute the small towns in the Beifang kingdom.

These barbarians who live in the west do not follow the law so they are not afraid of the officials who can imprison them so these barbarians are one of the big problems of the kingdom.

"Why don't we send a general to raid the very center of the barbarians' camp so that they disappear forever?" Suggestions of one of the ministers.

The crowd nodded and agreed as he said but the king did not say a word so that everyone could look at him and wait for him to speak.

The king leaned back in his chair before turning to Alastor next to him.

"Where's Trevas?" Everyone was silenced because of the king's question. No one wanted to answer his question because apart from the frightening aura surrounding the king, no one knew where Trevas was.

Vivian's mouth opened and she was about to speak when the door suddenly opened and everyone looked in that direction.

"Here" Trevas answered seriously.

The whole room became even quieter as everyone was startled looking in the direction of the door but they were not looking at Trevas but at the woman next to him with smooth pale skin and beautiful blue eyes.

Alissa's POV

"Why do you have to bring me here?" I whispered to Trevas as I watched the people looking at me.

I know that they are the generals and ministers who rule this kingdom so I can't quite figure out why Trevas would take me here.

Before Trevas could answer he was suddenly cut off when Lina suddenly appeared behind us.

"I'm sorry I got caught, I saw someone handsome outside eh" said Lina.

I suddenly slapped him on the arm causing him to look annoyed at me. He was about to speak but he suddenly stopped when he saw the people inside the room looking at them.

"I'm just out there, I'll talk to the poging royal guard" Lina whispered before walking straight out.

I was shaking and I wanted to laugh when suddenly I heard a scary voice.

"What else are you building there?" I turned to the speaker. This is a man in his mid 40's. He has long hair tied in a ponytail and you can tell this man is handsome even though he is old but the most noticeable thing about him is his scary aura and his serious face as if he can't smile.

The man is sitting in the most beautiful and most unique chair at the long table so I am sure that he is the king of this kingdom.

Trevas folded his arms before shifting his gaze from the king and Alastor who was sitting to his left.

"Where will I sit? It looks like you have a new crown prince eh" Trevas replied as if the person he was talking to was not a king.

The crowd frowned because of Trevas' lack of respect for the king but the king didn't say a word so they didn't know either.

Before the king could answer the woman next to him spoke who I think is the queen and mother of Trevas.

"Did you really think you deserved to be a crown prince?"

My eyes narrowed and I looked closely at the queen. My fist clenched when I remembered Trevas saying that his own mother had poisoned him when he was young. How can he do that to his own son?

"Do you really think a demon like you can be an heir?" This continued but I was even more annoyed when instead of the generals and ministers silencing their queen, they nodded as if they agreed that Trevas should be replaced as crown prince.

To be continued...
