Chapter 80: Chapter 80
Kyle Greenwood’s POV
"I have been waiting for you Kyle, where have you been?" Sonia asked as I walked into the living room, standing in front of my face.
"My goodness, you startled me," I said, stopping abruptly, I almost bumped into her.
"Oh yeah, I wish you would have a heart attack," she yelled at me, furrowing her brows and placing her both hands on her hips making a pose as well.
"What are you doing here, Sonia? Don't you have something doing? Are you suddenly jobless because of a man?" I asked her furiously, pouring out the anger of what happened between Kimberly and me on her.
"What do you mean by that, Kyle?" Sonia snapped, glaring at me.
"I mean it, Sonia, are you now jobless?" I retorted, wondering what she is doing here anyway.
"Yes, Kyle, for your information, you are my business, so therefore, I have become jobless," Sonia retorted right back still glaring at me, "have you forgotten, Kyle, we are supposed to start planning our wedding today," she yelled at me.
"What wedding? I am not interested in marrying you, Sonia, so please leave me alone," I shouted at her and continued walking towards my room, I have forgotten for a moment that today is the day that Dad asked her to come to me so that we can start making preparations for the wedding, if I had recalled that in time, I would have gone some place else knowing she would be waiting for me.
"What do you mean by you are not interested in marrying me, Kyle?" Sonia asked working behind me, "You d not have an option here, Kyle, we are going to get married, Dad's order," she told me.
Her statement got me very upset that I turned around quickly pushing her so fast against the wall, I pressed her so tight to it, feeling the urge to smack her in the face.
"And what do you think you are doing, Kyle?" Sonia asked and I think I saw a smirk on her lips, "are you trying to force yourself on me, now?" she asked with a smirk now obvious on her lips.
I grinned at her, still pressing her tightly to the wall, as anger swept through my body, "do not be in a rush darling, just wait until after our wedding, we can do it as many times as you would want and rough too, if that is how you like it," Sonia told me and I think she is mocking me right now.
I suddenly lifted my hands to hit her but held myself again still holding my arm in the air, "go on, Kyle, Hit Me If You Can," Sonia told me still smiling mocking at me, I think I know why she is daring me to hit her, maybe to use it to get my parents sympathy or maybe to get my Dad to be more mad at me, but whatever her reason may be, I am not a fan of hitting women, I just hope Sonia won't drive me to that point.
I suddenly let go of her, yelling into the air to try and vent out my frustration, "there is no use yelling, Kyle, you are going to be my husband, so I will advise you to pull yourself together and let's get this thing over and done with," she told me adjusting her clothes, "and do not worry I promise to give my best in this marriage, you know why, that is because of the love I have for you and I know that someday you are going to appreciate and love me back," Sonia told me again.
"Oh, that will never happen, Sonia, the earlier you get this into your head the better for you," I told her in clenched teeth, "this marriage thing is only going to hurt you because, in the end, you will find that you only wasted your time," I added rather calmly this time.
"Time spent with you can never be a waste of time to me, Kyle," Sonia told me a smiling brightly this time as she walked up to me.
"Oh, there you are," I heard Mum's voice from behind us, "Sonia has been waiting for you all day, where did you go?" Mum asked me as she walked up to us.
"I told you, Sonia, Kyle will be back so there is no need for you to worry," she said turning to Sonia without waiting for me to answer her question about where I have been which is good for me because I do not have an answer for her.
"...and if you guys did not start the wedding preparations today you can start tomorrow, do not worry the wedding is going to be a grand one," Mum continued looking from Sonia to me
"You shouldn't have left home early this morning, by the way, where did you go, Kyle? Sonia thought you ran away," mum said.
"Oh, she did?" I asked looking from Mum to Sonia, "I think I should do that," I added staring at Sonia this time, if only she knew that I am considering running away, if the woman of my life will agree to do that with me, I said within me, starting at Sonia, wishing that could happen.
"Oh, stop it, Kyle," Mum said turning to me, "you don't have to joke around with a thing like this, how can you tell your bride that you plan on running away?" Mum scolded me.
"Do not pay attention to him, Sonia, my son is joking around, he will never do that," Mum said referring to Sonia but she eyes me instead.
"Come dear, lunch is ready," Mum told Sonia taking her hand.
"You are welcome to join us, Kyle," Sonia said to me sounding so nice and sweet, I know she is faking it and it is because Mum is here.
"No thanks," I told her in return, hating her for always deceiving my Mum like this.
"And why is that? Don't tell me you ate launch already without me," Sonia said sounding childish and sweet still as if we were just having a discussion before came to us.
"Did you eat already, Kyle?" Mum asked.
"Yes, Mum," I replied even though it is a lie, I do not have appetite anyway.
"Come and eat a little with me, please," Sonia said pleadingly trying to be cute but to me, but it doesn't suit her.
"Come and join us, Kyle, for Sonia's sake," Mum told me after Sonia's statement.
"No, but Thanks, Mum," I told her and turned to walk towards my room, "please tell Sonia not to disturb me as I need to sleep for a while," I added, ignoring the grin look on Sonia's face...
If only Sonia knew how much she disgust me now, she may not need anyone to advise her to stay away from me, that is if she cared at all...
