"The option of taking money from him, Kim, what other option? Your kid's dad is a billionaire and you are here suffering an untold hardship for nothing, when you could just be relaxing and having him pay all your bills, you are young for crying out loud, too young in fact to be going through all these hardships," Vicky said.

"You have seen his fiancée, have you not? Do you think I can achieve that even if I want to with such a woman by his side? do you think that will happen? Have you ever thought about it? I told you before the Vicky,

"Leave that woman out of it, Kim, I do not think that will be a problem, besides you are not asking him to take the kids with him, all he will be doing is send you money for their upkeep, I do not see that to be a problem," Vicky told me.

"I told you this guy is a puppet in the hands of his fiancée, who know what he will do to please her," I said knocking on the door to Doctor Sam's office.

"Forget about it, Vicky, let's get to the reason why we came here," I told her, not willing to go on about our topic, she didn't say anything any further, and I think she decided to let it go.

"Are you sure Doctor Sam is in?" Vicky asked instead when I knocked on the door a second time and still no response.

"I don't think he is in Vicky," I said.

"Try opening the door to see if he is in," Vicky told me and I was about to do that when I heard someone say behind us,

"Who do we have here?" I turned to see Sonia standing in front of me with a smirk on her face, she is with another lady who looks older than she is.

"Mum, this is the mother of the boy who ran in front of Kyle's car," Sonia said, referring to me.

I glanced briefly at Vicky who looked at me in return, so this is the lady who raised such a spoilt child, and why is she explaining the accident the other way around? I said and asked within me, she looked younger to me, for being the mother of Sonia.

"What are you doing here?" The lady asked, in an authoritative tone to me, now I know where Sonia got her manners from, I thought.

"I came to see Doctor Sam," I replied almost immediately, a little angry at the way she spoke to me as well, like mother like daughter I said within me again.

"I see," the lady said, looking me up from my head to my toe, how disrespectful, I thought disliking her attitude, she looked at me and Vicky as if we are garbage.

"I wonder what it is about you that my son, Kyle, keeps bugging himself about you and your son?" The lady asked after a while and did I hear her say her son?, "He even had to go ahead and donate his blood at the risk of losing his life in order to save your child's life, something he would never do knowing his health condition, it is not like he has never seen an accident before, or anyone close to death before, I wonder what you did to him so make him so messed up, including Dr Sam, Who always seem to be in your defence." the lady said.

"Excuse me, are you Kyle's mum?" I asked, to make sure but this time I spoke in a more polite manner, and I wonder why?

"How dare you ask me a question?" She asked glaring at me and this startled me a little, "and who told you can speak while I'm speaking, you piece of trash," she yelled at me.

"It is because of you my son had to come to this hospital like some low life, begging for his life, what happened to you or your son's dad, anyway, that you could not donate blood to your son? You should be thankful nothing serious happened to my son," she told me in a very harsh tone.

I was taken aback by how she spoke to me, that I do not know what to say to her and I think Vicky too is surprised and speechless as I am to be face-to-face with Kyle's mother.

She is a woman who appears to command authority, and before I could summon the courage to say anything, Dr Sam showed up.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am, for keeping you waiting," Doctor Sam said opening the door to his office, he seemed very busy.

"What has this woman come to do here, Sam, does she have any business with you?" Kyle's mum asked Dr Sam in the same authoritative tone.

"I am sorry Ma'am, but I do not know what she has come here to do, I do not have an appointment as of now with her, maybe it is about her son," Doctor Sam replied her.

"Mrs Brown, is there anything I can do for you?" Doctor Sam asked turning to me.

"No Doctor Sam, I only came here to ask you to speed up the discharge papers," I told him almost in a trembling voice, I wonder why I am trembling anyway.

"Have you not started her son's discharge papers yet?" Kyle's mum asked, "I thought my husband asked you to,"

"I am on it, Ma'am, I am already on it," Doctor Sam replied, he seem to be replying her with ease but with respect though.

"You better hurry up with it, I want these people to be gone from this hospital as soon as possible, I do not want my son anywhere near them again," Kyle's mum told him.

"Yes Ma'am," Dr Sam said opening the office.

"Go on, Mrs Brown, I will see you later," Dr Sam told me, going into his office followed by Kyle's Mum.
